Very good food. Big portions!! Cute place, little, but you can get a table quickly.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at Eggcellent. I had the pumpkin pancakes, which were not overpowering in the spice department. He had the breakfast burrito and apple cider mimosa. Both were fantastic. Better than the food was the service. It was a delight and we are sure to return!

Stopped looking for a breakfast while waiting for the ferry, checked the menu, and menu looked🥞☕ great, 🍳but a little pricey for my purse. If looking for a great breakfast menu, stop, just bring your 💳wallet ‼️💸

Outstanding breakfast/brunch/lunch spot. Very good quality food. The crab cake is seriously delicious, one that a Marylander would surely enjoy. A lot of outdoor seating, with heating during chillier weather. Great service. Gender-neutral restrooms. Very pleasant atmosphere. If only they had espresso, it would truly be perfect.

Dog friendly outside. Food was excellent but our waitress wasnt very attentive- our drinks went dry and was never offered a refill, just the check. Lots of other restaurants in the area I would give a try before heading back due to service.

Great find in Lewis. We shared lox avocado toast and a traditional bacon, eggs, hash browns and multigrain toast breakfast. Coffee good too. Eggcellent!

Our food and service lived up the the name of “eggcellent”! We ordered the Mediterranean Chicken sandwich (minus the olives), the Monster burger, the kids silver dollar pancakes and a decaf cafe con leche. The onion rings on the burger were very good and it was loaded with avocado. The chicken sandwich was perfect. Soft and slightly toasted bread, juicy and flavorful! If I came back I would certainly order the same thing again. Our food came out surprisingly fast and with a toddler, we appreciated it! My wife said that the reviews mentioned a good hot sauce so I tried it (peach vidalia onionand it was great! I mixed it with ketchup for the perfectly crisp and hot fries and would suggest others do the same. Sweet and flavorful without too much heat! If I could change one thing is would be to have the fries served in a separate container. I found my juicy chicken sandwich to drip and I used a napkin to keep that liquid away from the crispy fries on my plate.

This restaurant was really wonderful on all fronts. We went twice, once for dinner and back again the next day for breakfast. The food was almost perfect all around — creative and really tasty. The service was great, and the atmosphere in the outdoor seating was wonderful (other than some forgivable wobblyness of the tables).The name could be better - the food is not all egg focused (but it’s all excellent)!

This restaurant was perfect! We were seated right away, our breakfast came out quickly, and was delicious. If you go you need to try their homemade hot sauce — next time we’re back in Lewes we’ll definitely be back!

We stopped into Lewes on Moday, and noticed this cute spot. Although its smallish inside, the freshness of the food was awesome, big on taste, our attendant was very polite and helpful, and the vibe was cool. Set in a very nice spot in the charming town of Lewes, this Eggcellent restaurant was a charm. I would surely stop by again.

Drove from Dover, about an hour, well worth the trip. Lewes is so laid back and Eggcellent is such a good place for breakfast. I had the meat lovers omellete and my wife had berry French toast....both delicious choices. Friendly service and great food,nice job!!

We ordered breakfast, our eggs and bacon were raw. The potatoes were old & mushy. Our server didn’t care at all. We will never go back. 🤮After paying $53 we had to go somewhere else to eat.

Place was great! Food and atmosphere spot on. Had breakfast here. Had the western omelet. Lunch sandwich menu seems great as well. Would definitely return.

This has become a favorite breakfast place for my husband and I in charming downtown Lewes!First, the service. We always receive a friendly greeting and are quickly seated. The inside has beautiful boho decor. The outside is a nice, quiet place to sit and enjoy the flowers and gazebo across the street.The coffee. Amazing! We are told that soon they will be selling bags of their beans and we plan on being first in line to buy.The food portions are very large so we usually share an entree.The food is freshly cooked, hot and delicious. The home fries are amazing! My husband likes to put their vidalia onion hot sauce on them.The juices are truly freshly squeezed.Best place in town for breakfast!

The best dinner we had in town! The restaurant was so nice and quiet with the best staff. The food was quick and delicious. Would highly recommend for any meal!

Delicious! We had the Elvis sandwich, omlette, and burrito. All delicious. Great portions. Even the kids pancakes were huge! A great little spot for sure. Smaller so they get you in and out quick and might have to wait at busy times. Definitely a must go!

Beautiful decor (love the green door and cheery colors and accents everywhere). Service was friendly, prompt and the portions were huge (breakfast burrito and scrapple bagel sandwich were delicious, mimosa was generous. Worth a visit!

Very nice. (Needs a curtain in the front window separating the inside table guests from the outside patio guests. Otherwise you are looking straight into their food.)

The crab cake sandwich I had was phenomenal! My husbands lox omelette was cooked to perfection. And the cafe con leches was bursting with flavor & the perfect compliment to the meal!!! The service was excellent too!! We would definitely go back again!!!

Small place. You wouldnt think you would find terrific food here - and you would be wrong. We stopped in for dinner and this was best food weve had in Lewes. Crab cakes were to die for. Scallops were done perfectly - sweet and delicious. Scallops came with a tomato, onion, olive salad that was a great complement to the scallops.Desserts here are created locally. Many times bakery goods that are "bought in" can be heavy and cloyingly sweet. We chose a lemon/blueberry cake that was cool and lighter and not too sweet. Just a perfect ending to a great meal.This was a true highlight of our stay in Lewes!

Eggcellent is aptly named. We enjoyed a lovely and absolutely delicious Mother’s Day dinner - our first time trying Eggcellent for dinner. The Catalan Quesadilla was the most original and best one I’ve ever had and I highly recommend the scallops. Yum!Drinks and desserts were equally good and each woman was treated with a rose and a chocolate at the end of the night. A classy touch to cap off our spectacular meals. Will be back very soon!

Pricey- but the quality, taste and portion sizes are well worth it. Best food my family has had in a long time!! Atmosphere and staff were very nice as well! The location of the cafe is in a very cute spot, surrounded by greenery and other quaint shops and cafes- all within walking distance.

This place was great! We arrived a few minutes early but they were happy to service anyway. We sat outside with our dog and they brought her some water :food was yummy and they made my wife GF DF omlete!

This is a very nice place typically for breakfast but today they opened for dinner first time and of course we decided to try it out. My lord it was good! First of all! Where have you seen such a compliment started that looks like a whole appetiser? I think it’s hummus it was delicious! For my main course I had salmon and the dish is $30 (like pretty much everywhere for dinnerbut the size of the plate is huge. The salmon iS like my 2 hands put together, it comes with rice and asparagus (very well cookedbut that sauce on top…finger licking good! I have been almost in every dinner location in town and this meal does not have equals. Carrot cake cheesecake is hand down THE BEST. I also wanna highlight how clean the bathrooms are. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

Visited here while touring historical spots around Lewes, Delaware. It was a bit of a random choice, the place is not large and we just happened to spot it while perusing the storefronts for a place to eat. SO glad we stopped in, the place was clean, service was great, and the food was amazing! We ordered the Banana Foster French toast and the Summer Berry french toast, which were both some of the most photogenic plates Id ever received at a restaurant. Plus they tasted great! Our plates were not the only ones like this, other dishes served around us all looked equally fantastic. This is the best little diner to stop in for a bite to eat for anyone out and about exploring Lewes! We will definitely make this place a favorite any time we come through!

Great place for breakfast and lunch. We stopped in on a chilly morning, and sat inside. Friendly service and good menu options.Bloody Mary to start, a berry yogart parfait, egg and avacado burrito, and lox avacado toast. All hit the spot for breakfast.If you like mildly spicy hot sauce, be sure to try thir own peach Vidalia hot sauce. Very mild, UT very flavorful.

Great little place for breakfast. The portions are huge, and the prices are reasonable. We had the GIANT sized Western Omelet, seriously, it took up most of the plate, and a breakfast sandwich on a bagel. Its a popular place, so expect a wait, we waited about 20 minutes. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Service was quick and friendly. Highly recommend. Theyre only open 7am-3pm, every day.

An amazing place with a great breakfast! Eggcellent has a warm, inviting atmosphere with beautiful seating areas both indoors and out. The coffee was fantastic! Our waitress was super and the food came out very fast. Everything was delicious and I would 100% recommend anyone check this place out when visiting downtown Lewes.

I am so glad I found Eggcelent! Its a cozy eatery with a great menu full of variety and flavorful dishes. I got the Norwegian Sandwich with home fries, and its one of the best meals I ever had. The staff was friendly, and there were plenty of places to sit. Also, their homemade hot sauce is outstanding! I will definitely be back.

I got the banana foster and it was delicious! The service was alright, nothing special. Everyone else said their meal was okay but nothing over the top. The soap dispenser in the one bathroom was broken which is concerning during covid. I think price point to quality of food was perfect.

A charming restaurant in downtown Lewes Delaware with excellent food and service. The Crab Cake Sandwich is one of the best I have tasted in a long time. Even though we had lunch there, the server advised we could order breakfast as well. I will definitely return to this restaurant.

My friend and I recently did a weekend trip to Lewes Beach and we were craving some good breakfast food and we found the perfect spot in the area with a wide selection of options. I enjoyed that the menu was posted outside for customers to see if it’s worth them coming inside or not. Breakfast was available until 3PM which was awesome. Great patio seating outside with a cool vibe with vines along the fence and a heater to keep guests warm on a cool spring morning. The food was amazing as well. Excellent variety of breakfast options to satisfy numerous preferences. The customer service was excellent! Very attentive and genuine. If I come back to the area I will definitely check out this place again! Give them a try!

the name does in fact reign true!! truly eggcellent. My boyfriend and I took the ferry over from Cape May to Lewes delware; Eggcellent is a five minute drive from the ferry itself. They have outdoor dinning as well as indoor. The employees were very friendly and just eggcellent! The menu choices can fit almost all dietary needs! Clean establishment and is a family friendly environment , definitely will be coming back here again!! 🍳

What a neat little place! Less than half a dozen tables makes it a cozy place. Lola seated us and was pleasant and friendly.Planning on a light breakfast ended when we found the Elvis sandwich. Peanut butter, bacon and Bananas sandwiched between two slices of French toast and drizzled with honey was amazing! We also shared the veggie Supreme, which consisted of 2 eggs, fresh Spinach, peppers,onions and mushrooms. Home fries and toast rounded out the dish. We definitely left feeling full and happy! A return trip is in our future...

Nice spot for breakfast, brunch, or lunch indowntown Lewes. The breakfast burrito with a side of home fries was pretty good and very filling. The burgers look really good. Everything seems to be made with quality ingredients. Friendly and fast service.
