Dropped my HP laptop and broke the frame around a hinge. The plastic would twist open every time I used it. They repaired my laptop and its just like new.

They have lost another customer. Told me $40 to diag. A fan issue and when picked up they charged me $120 and did nothing. I would have put that towards the repair if I knew. What a shame.To answer your reply, I did not mention it because it was not fixed. "It just stopped and is working fine" is what told. The computer was still usable at the time it was dropped off. The reason for being there was to fix a fan noise and I would have put the $120 into fixing had I know it was going to be such. I believe most people would expect a phone call before the estimated quote triples.
