Evergreen Inn Motel & RV Park in Pratt County

Good location next to downtown for a decent price with parking included. Hotel room is clean but bathroom smells, AC unit is really loud so if you’re a light sleeper it’ll wake you up throughout the night, metal bed frames squeak anytime you move, and the coffee machine in our room doesn’t work.

Room was ok, very basic. Breakfast and spa(hot tubNOT included, close proximity but very expensive for just a bed and bathroom. Office was closed during stated business hours. Unable to get ahold of office staff.

Arrived around 5:30 pm the night of my reservation with no way to check in, no way to get into my reserved room. Business phone number had a message that the office is closed. After the fact I saw they are supposed to provide a code to get into the room however this was never received. I had to find alternate accomodations after a long day of travel, hopefully I can get a refund if they ever answer the phone or return my calls. Couldnt say I would recommend this place as I paid for a room I was not able to access.

No communication. Called no answer. Texted no answer. Room #1 is right by washer and dryer that you hear squeeking non stop. Walls are thin so you hear every car, laugh, sneeze etc. Filthy dirty my room was. Smelled like raw sewage when I got there. Hair everywhere that wasnt mine, in the sink on the bedding. Dirt on floors, ledges, fridge. Great location though, central to everything. Parking was a nightmare the lot is hard to get out of. Im still waiting to talk to someone about my stay.Just a few photos. Mostly took videos.

NOT handicap accessible or disability friendly. Extremely difficult to locate due to lack of signs. Room was clean though and mostly as described. No breakfast either. 10am check out.

Decent place to stay close to downtown. However, for $500 a night I’d expect coffee in the room. They have a kuerig machine but no k-cups.

I recently reserved a room at the Evergreen, 10/20 - 10/22. Nobody was available at check-in after a long drive from out of town. I had to scramble to find another hotel for my vacation. Many locals advised me to keep my distance from this hotel. I still have yet to get in contact with these folks despite many tries. Stay away. There are many, much better places to stay in Leavenworth.11/9 - still have yet to get in contact with anyone who can help. This place is shady to the extreme.

CHARMING, OLDER MOTEL WITH A MAJOR FACELIFT TO THE ROOMS MAKE IT A FAVORITE!FYI: You must go to Airbnb to make a reservation.The rooms have been tastefully upgraded and have a very warm feeling...little touches to the furniture such as hand painted chairs that match the decor has definitely made this older motel one of my favorites! (If you are lucky, you may meet the artist, Shaylee, who did all the chairs and as a manager has made this place spectacular)Also, the cleanest place in town, hands down!

0kay.... I was planning on staying here for a night while seeing this girl I was talking too. Well, I went to go find the hotel in Leavenworth. Looking for a building called "Evergreen inn and suits" I kept coming to the wanderlust. Which wouldnt of been a problem if they updated their Google listing. That and the Email they sent for confirmation gave the wrong address. Ive put out 170 dollars for this. Clerical error after Clerical error. Theyll expect a call from me tomorrow.

Edited 8/27* adding a star because I was able to contact the office the next morning and was promptly refunded.* Made an Evergreen inn reservation late afternoon on Wednesday, charged my card, added a CDC cleaning fee of 30 dollars. Went to the address on Google and it was Wanderlust inn. No one there and no way to get a room. No one answered the phone and it says "visit us across the street at Evergreen inn" its an empty lot with an Evergreen inn sign... What a nightmare, going to be disputing this charge.

We stayed in the Nutcracker suite for a weekend. It was 2 bedrooms, one bathroom (splitand slept 9 of us!!! Its almost unthinkable for us to have all come out alive from that weekend but all things considered, exactly what we needed.The Nutcracker suite wouldve been very comfortable for 6 probably. But the bathroom was a little weird - the toilet was in one room, you had to go through one of the bedrooms, and then the shower was in another room, off from the livingroom. But then again, it was good because different people was able to use the bathroom and shower at the same time. The place had plenty of towels for us to use as well which I appreciated. It was clean and provided us with a place to stay - thats what we needed. The other major pro was it was right next to Leavenworth so we were able to walk into town very easily. The location was definitely not something I can complain about!!I gave it 3 stars because it was just a place to sleep and nothing else - the space was definitely cramped so we couldnt really stay there for too long when we were awake - no tables or anything to hangout around. With the bed in the livingroom and the chairs we pulled from all the rooms, we were able to find seating. The doors were a bit broken but my friend found a screwdriver and fixed them. The price was do-able for 9 people but wouldve been steep otherwise.

We had a very disappointing experience with Evergreen Inn. We had planned to go to Leavenworth for a weekend getaway and extreme snow hit. The night before we were supposed to leave I tried to reach out and didn’t receive a response. I reached out several times with no response back. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Leavenworth.

Update: We no longer will be going to the Evergreen Inn. It really is a sad but the new ownership unfortunately left a very sour taste. A email was sent only a couple of weeks before our annual Oktoberfest trip stating the hotel was under new management, that they were switching to a air bnb style reservations and that we would need to pay for our room in full within 24 hours or the reservations would be canceled.We wrote back a email congratulating the new owners on acquiring such a great place and asked for an invoice for our three rooms for Oktoberfest weekend. We recievd a very snarky email stating we had one room not three and that the rate for the weekend had increased with no invoice or explanation of how much the increase would be. We found it odd since Oktoberfest had been canceled due to covid that the new owner would increase the amount ontop of what we were already paying for a "festival weekend" even tho the festival was canceled.We felt that it was a very clear message that the new owner felt they could sell the room to someone else for more than we were going to pay and that they really didnt want our business. I am leaving the 5 star review only to be fair since we have not gone back to see if there are any improvements to merit the increase in price. I truly wish the new owners the best of luck with this property. unfortunately this just seems to be indicative of the direction that the entire town is going.Not fancy, but certainly a great place to stay. The staff is very helpful, nice and will hold a good conversation with you if thats what you want. Found some of Leavenworths hidden gems thanks to the staff there. The breakfast there isnt huge but has everything you could want or need. This was our 10th year staying at the Evergreen for Oktoberfest and countless other random stays over the last 10 years and wont stop anytime soon.

WE have stayed for many years but will not be coming back. Pd $66 more than last year and yes there was some updates done but no TV (there was a new one installed but no cord.} 4 cups but no glasses and no ice available. There was a Micowave but no outlet to plug it into. Was a big dissapointment to say the least. Think we really need a partial refund.

Hotel called two weeks before reservation and announced that they were changing the reserved rate and that we could either pay the new rate or hit the road. The new rate was nearly double.Ive gone to this place every year as a stop-off on a regular summer trip with a group and the only thing they have going for them is that they were cheap. The rooms are outdated and often feature stained carpets and old, lumpy beds, but it was a cheap place to crash, right in town. If they want to double their rates, theyd better doubly improve the condition of their rooms too.

Dark and dingy. It seemed cleaning up in the bathroom and the sheets were clean. There is no trace of any bugs either that I could see, but this was in October.. I kept referring to the hotel room as a crack den 😂 the price point was decent for it being during Oktoberfest. If youre going there just to sleep and shower and nothing else, it will be sufficient for your needs.

We stayed here about 10 years ago and it was basic but clean. Not anymore! The room was very outdated and dirty! It had such a horrible smell I almost threw up. They sprayed it down to hide the smell but that didnt work. The sheets were a yellow color and the chair and floor we so dirty had to wear shoes always. They say there is a hot tub but its been broken for years. Will never stay here again. Positive note the staff was nice.out

Currently staying here. The hotel is old, offers few modern amenities, and the service is godawful. When we arrived last night after a 4-hour drive, we discovered they had given away our room to another couple because they “had dogs”, which apparently aren’t allowed in the room the couple had booked. So, they gave our larger, two room, 1st floor suite to someone else because they happened to show up with dogs. We have a young child traveling with us, so sharing one small room with two tiny beds and no privacy has pretty much ruined our trip. We were offered no compensation or discount for the room mixup, and since we had no choice, were forced to stay in the other couple’s original room (which is on the second floor of an old mixed use building across the street). This morning I received horrible service when I called the front desk to ask if the hotel had wifi - I was told “we’re having problems with wifi in that building, so no.” Bottom line - don’t stay here unless you just need a place to sleep. Don’t count on getting the room you reserved either (or bring your dogs for a room upgrade!).

If I could give this place zero starts I would! Toilet constantly clogged for no reason, no hot water for showers, coffee maker IN the bathroom, floors are stained and filthy, water damage on the walls in the bathroom, weird sign about not using towels to clean up spills or remove makeup or you’ll be charged, bed was uncomfortable, WiFi didn’t work and when we inquired about it were told “oh yea, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t” with a shoulder shrug. Old and outdated is just the tip of the iceberg for this place.

Affordable, good location, friendly staff.Room was outdated, but for the price I cant complain.(last min. Labor day weekend bookingLocated with in 3-5 min. walking distance of Leavenworths main kiosk. Staff was nice and always friendly.

Front desk staff are awesome and price is reasonable. Rooms are older and show it but clean. The location is perfect, you can walk anywhere.

Not the best, but ok for the money? Toilet seat old and loose. Showers large but needs to be replaced. That is old and lumpy. 100.00 per night. Not the most cleanest. Just old and needs a face lift plus some 🙄?

Very much enjoyed our stay. The staff are very friendly. Its not a fancy place , but nice and affordable and we were able to bring our fur babies 👍❤️

2 bulbs are burnt out. The toilet runs non stop Only one of our 2 keys work so we has to stay in a different room cause we couldnt get in to ours. In need of some major upgrades and repairs. Some simple new bedding and pillows for the price would have been nice. On the plus side its clean.

I love the little quaint Inn that we call home for Oktoberfest weekend and any other weekends that we need to get away. This place is not for the quiet fall asleep by 9pm. It is a place where people remember you and your life. Management is outstanding and if there is a problem, they make it right.

Room was falling apart. Bathroom had a hole in the ceiling instead of a Fan. There was no fan. Towel rack was barely hanging on the wall. Shower curtain would not stay up. The bed was horrible. The foot of the bed was higher than the head of the bed and felt like sleeping on boards. The faucet in the kitchen wouldnt turn off unless you strained a wrist trying to force it off. There was no hot water after one shower. Coffee pot has old coffee in it before we even used it and cuos were dirty. WiFi wouldnt work. Parking was horrible. The room we stayed at should be declared uninhabitable!!! Would NEVER stay here again. And would NEVER refer it to anyone.

Worst stay ever and I travel a lot. 1. Advertises a hot tub. Wrong! Soaking tub is what they said after I asked why the jets did not engage after pushing the button on the spa. 2. Air conditioning not functioning. AC only in 1 room and not second room. Told maintenance would fix. Came back at end of day. No maintenance showed up. 3. Internet allows only 2 people on at a time! We had 3 in our group. 4. Broken lights in bathroom.Run down, broken down motel. Avoid if possible

Rooms are ran down. Beds are like bricks. Price is ok. The free breakfast is limited. Staff can can use a few lessons is customer service. And lots of traing on how to run the card reader. To stay there again maybe if its my last choice.

Place is clean. Location is amazing so close everything in Leavenworth is in walking distance. Would I stay here again, No. Its just very very run down. Floors slanted, bathroom door handle falls off ect. People in office are nice.

I’ve spent plenty of nights in plenty of places, and this one should really be demolished, it’s just worn out, windows broken, burn holes all over bed spread. TV is analog?? Bugs all around our sink!! No chairs to sit in our room, my wife wouldn’t even shower there :( girls working in the office were great, the property is a dive

My wife and I have stayed here twice in the last 2 years and love the place. Going again next week. Going to reserve via Internet and then call and confirm. Maybe that´s better then getting left out in the rain.Here it is June 2018 and again we have reservations for 3 nights. Clean and within walking distance to downtown.

It was as good as expected, knowing it was a motel style lodging. The bed wasnt super comfortable and there were some liquid stains on one chair and some of the carpet. The bathroom was very clean. The price was the best in town, so a lot of the aesthetic complaints are well understood for the value of the room.

Great location and great price! Weve stayed here many times and have always enjoyed our visit. We come to Leavenworth to visit the shops, float the river, go sledding, etc. Not to stay in the hotel room. If you want a spa, you need to pay for that. If you want a clean, well priced and convenient base camp for all of the areas activities you simply cant beat the Evergreen. Waffles in the mornings are always a plus, as well! Also, the staff has always been wonderful!

I have to say I am really unhappy with the slip in quality of this motel. My husband and I have been coming to the Evergreen in a few times a year for the last 5 years, but this will be our last visit. First, I had been told over the phone that we were going to be placed in this specific room. We arrived, parked in front of the room we were supposed to be in. Found out that we had been moved to another room. As we were checking in the woman working the desk was complaining about how she lost another customer’s dog. We got into our room and it hadn’t been cleaned. There was long dark hairs in the shower, dirt on the floor and in the corners. The bed was hard as a rock and had a crease going down it. The next morning I complained, and halfway through my complaints the woman working the desk (same as the night beforeinsisted on talking over me so she didn’t have to hear all of the complaints. She only fixed one, by moving us into another room. The second room had caked dirt and mold in the main room as well as the bathroom. The hot water heater dies after a 5 minute shower. During the moving process I got to hear the woman cleaning the rooms berate the woman working the desk about what all of the problems in our original room and bed and how she had told that woman all of the problems and talking about me and my complaints, in front of me, without realizing that I was the one complaining because she also insisted on talking over me while she ranted. Overall I found the staff rude and uncaring, and the rooms unclean and uncomfortable. As I mentioned at the beginning of the review, this will be our last stay. It could have been salvageable, but the staff made it clear that we were not wanted here anymore.

I tried to make a reservation online, and they sent me a confirmation. When I arrived, however, they had no reservation and no vacancy. The confirmation was actually a reservation REQUEST confirmation and they didnt get back to me about it even though I submitted it 2 weeks ahead of time (when they showed 8 rooms available). It was a major bummer since weve been going there once a year for 3 years (for our annual float trip). The same thing happened to a friend. The place itself isnt anything special. I wont be going back.

We reserved a room online and had a digital confirmation. We arrived an hour early to check-in and learned that our room had been given to another guest. There was a mix-up with their online reservation service and ours was lost in the process. We showed them our digital confirmation and they were kind enough to call around to find us a room with a different Inn. It was a frustrating mix up with a fortunate ending.

I didnt expect a great place since I didnt book for Christmas until thanksgiving, but for the price, I expected much more than this. The rooms are really old, the beds are EXTREMELY uncomfortable. The tv is so old It doesnt even have plug ins for audio video cables. The "cable" tv is the absolute worst Ive ever seen. The toilets freeze, there power strips nailed into the wall and you have to carry the coffee pot into the bathroom to use it. Yes, its pet friendly (with a fee), but my dogs are used to much better accommodations than this. This is a Christmas resort town, but for the prices they are charging (very close to the amount the nicer hotels chargethey should REALLY update this place. Seriously. Its a fire hazard!

Good sized room but VERY run down. Entry, carpet & couch dirty. The smell of dogs in the room. Bed ok but pillows lumpy. Breakfast good but only 1 table & 2 chairs in a small area. A great shame the flowers in the extensive window boxes were all dead as the hotel let the town down.

If your looking for a clean inexpensive place to stay this is a good place. We checked in Friday afternoon and stayed until Monday. The desk clerk was pleasant and helpful. Our room was across the street on the second floor. The room was clean, but a little dated. The only complaint I have is our room did not have a fridge and there was no ice machine in this building. There was a common balcony on the front and back, the deck carpet was worn out. The place was quite and there was no partying or other stuff going on. The motel sits on the edge of downtown, Its an easy walk to the shops, brewery and dinning. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the beds were not comfortable at all for me or my wife. The breakfast was okay, parking was a nightmare, but the location is great for just walking around town.

Great for the low prices. We had 5 people, and paid less than 30 each! They had a small breakfast and a hot tub! Dont expect a upscale hotel, but this is great for the price.

The room itself was a decent size with two queen beds. We paid extra for a room with WiFi, but it barely worked when it even stayed connected.The furniture was old and stained, and there were strange red stains on the walls. It also looked like someone had squished a ton of fruit flies against the wall, since their bodies were everywhere.The shower was either scalding or freezing, with no in-between. But on the bright side, the AC worked (a great relief on such a hot weekend).

I had stayed here before and had just about the same experience. Pillows provided no support so sleep was close to impossible. My brother found a pair of dirty socks in the dresser and the door lock was very sticky and hard to open. On a good note the staff was wonderful and allowed a late check out due to us coming in on daylight savings. I love the location because it is very close to town but far enough away that you dont hear all the sounds of town, and everything is within walking distance.

This motel is in a great location in the hustle and bustle of Leavenworth. If you are looking for quality accommodations this is not your place but the rooms are fairly well kept and great for a group of skiers/snowboarders or a family looking for a room thats easy on the wallet.

The room was large. We rented the king sized jacuzzi suite. It was reasonably priced and didnt require a two day stay like many other places. However many of our towels had holes and were threadbare. The wifi cut out as of 11pm. The shower had mold on the seal and the kitchen was lacking even basic silverware. It was nice to have a place to stay on the edge of town but it could drastically use an update.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! Booked an online reservation 2 weeks in advance. Called on our drive to Leavenworth to confirm the booking and was informed they didnt have any record of our reservation. After multiple calls and a forwarded email they said there was nothing they could do and tried to place all the blame on their webervation service. The woman tried to tell me this was the first time this had happened, which if you read all the other 1 star ratings youll know is a bold faced lie. She also tried to tell me that there was no way we could have booked the room in question because it had already been reserved weeks earlier. Do yourself a favor, spend your money somewhere with a shred of professionalism.

The owners of this hotel need to figure out their website reservation system. After reading reviews because I didnt get an email confirmation, I called and found out my reservation wasnt in their system. Then also found out the reason it probably wasnt accepted is because someone else had the room and its a 2 night minimum because its a festival weekend. 1st question: Why would you allow a room to be reserved a 2nd time if its already reserved? 2nd question: Where was the notice that it was a 2 night minimum required stay? I also dont understand why you would accept web reservations when you cant figure out your own website reservation system. Two weeks away and no where to stay.

We booked our room a year in advance for the 2014 Oktoberfest Festival which happens every year in our home away from home, Leavenworth. After booking our reservation and receiving an email that told us our room reservation request was approved and then we were given a conf. #, we thought we were set to go! When the time came and we got to the Inn we found out that they didnt have our reservation. I asked if I could use their computer to find and print up our conf. email which I did. We were then told they had cancelled our reservation "two days" after we booked it and our room was then given away and reserved to one of there "regular" guests. So there we were in a town that was "fully" booked with our elderly parents who had already driven two hours to get to our house and then traveled another three hours to Leavenworth to find they had given away our room. We requested a call from Shea, the Inn Manager and she told us that our booking didnt fall within their "1 yr.-3 day rule" (whatever that means, it was never made clear to usso she cancelled our reservation and gave it to someone else. Leaving us with no where to stay in town and my elderly parents in tears. Shea did not call us to apologize for the situation but argued with us instead and basically told us it was our faults. Leavenworth is our town and we love it and this situation that has happened with the Evergreen Inn and Shea will not change that. We will however, NEVER stay at the Evergreen Inn again and will tell all our Friends and Family to avoid the Evergreen Inn whenever possible. Terrible experience and terrible non-existent customer service recovery. To anyone out there reading this, please be warned. Thank you.

Walls paper thin, staff was rude, and the room felt unclean. The last night we were there people were launching fireworks in the larking lot, about 2 feet from our door. When I called the front desk she said she didnt know if the could do that, and that she would have to call her manager to find out. Anyone with common sense would under stand that it was not only illegal, it was highly inappropriate.Great location, horrible staff and amenities.

Nice big bathroom, good sizable room. We stayed in the two bed with kitchen. Carpet could use replacing. Friendly staff, wifi had poor coverage but we were warned prior to arrival.
