I have been very pleased with my dental care at Exceptional Dentistry. The friendly staff has shown great concern for my comfort and expertise care.

2nd time going to Exceptional Dentistry. Was just as warm and friendly as the 1st time. They honor my wishes to never have a male dentist or hygienist (sorry bad experience with one). Everyone there is so friendly and pleasant! I look forward to going back each 6 months due to the fact that my anxiety is gone and everyone that works there is great to be around.

I am continuously impressed with the best in class experience at exceptional dentistry in Dixon! Prior to being a patient, I only went to top dentists in Chicago, for the last 14 years! I am grateful that Megan is my dental hygienist; she is so kind, empathetic, efficient, so knowledgeable and easy to talk to!Exceptional dentistry is lucky to have her on their team!

The staff is very helpful and friendly. I especially appreciated Dr. Patels attention to detail. She explained everything we were about to do and answered questions afterwards in a courteous and friendly manner. Would recommend 100%.

I was able to see Heather, the hygienist, In a timely fashion. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and gentle. Then I got a "once over" from Dr. Crisham. The office is always so clean and welcoming. Ive been going there for years, and will continue to do so.

Megan, Mattie & Dr. Chrishman are the best! Everyone is friendly and accommodating! Wouldnt go anywhere else!

Always a great experience during each visit. The staff is very personable, and understand mine and my childrens needs during visits. They are knowledgeable with any questions I have, in general and with billing. Dr. Patel is the best 🙂

The ladies at the office are wonderful! From the receptionists to the hygienists to the dentist! I DO NOT like getting dental work done but this is the only place I’m happy to go to. My son even said he can’t wait to go back! Walking in he said he absolutely didn’t want to go and he had a blast and was smiling ear to ear. If you have any fear of going to the dentist this is the place to calm you down and make you feel confident in the care you’re receiving. 11/10 highly recommend this office!

Went in for a new patient cleaning and it was a great experience. The hygienist and doctor were both straightforward and thorough throughout the visit.

I had a couple fillings done, and the experience was great! They work with you on payments, and the staff is super friendly! Highly recommend this dental office.

It was time for another cleaning and I would normally have tried to think of reasons why I should cancel....guess what.....Exceptional Denistry takes all the reasons for why not away. Heather cleaned my teeth, she told me of ways to get the best daily results and best of all, it was TOTALLY painless. Dr. Crisham did an exam and I am proud to say, my dental health is much improved and I owe it all to the care of Heather and Dr. Crisham. Might I add the front office staff are very welcoming. I also should add, I was always the biggest, most fearful patient....not anymore I look forward to my visits. I would recommend Exceptional Denistry to anyone....they are the best!Another visit my 6 month check up and guess what, a chipped tooth was found and quickly repaired. And was it painless, oh yes it was. Again, Heather did a fantastic job cleaning and Dr. Crisham and her assistant (sorry I didnt get her namemade the experience so enjoyable. Again.....a big thank you for another excellent experience!

Ive been a patient here my entire life. Ive always loved the staff and the care they provide for my teeth!

Hygienist Brook (or Brooke?performed my semi-annual dental cleaning during August, 2022 at the Dixon, IL Exceptional Dentistry office. She presented as temperamental, agitated and less than a professional throughout the process. A few minutes into the cleaning, with a condescending tone, I was lectured:1 You never brush your teeth!;2 You dont know how to brush your teeth!;3 You brush your teeth sideways!;4 You need to brush your teeth up and down!;5 You need to brush your gums!;Following these statements, when no tools were in my mouth, I replied, "I use a WaterPik (a brush and floss machinemultiple times each day. The WaterPik was highly recommended a few years ago by a prior, different Exceptional Dentistry hygienist.Ms. Brook (Brooke?continued with her tirade, as if talking down to a 3 to 5-year old:6 You need to use a manual brush, not a WaterPik!;7 Youre not brushing your teeth hard enough!; additionally,8 Hygienist Brook (Brooke?was so rough with the flossing process it created excess gum bleeding, necessitating a lot of irrigating and suctioning.Not wanting to readily answer this invitation about "how was your experience today?" when it was first text to me (due to the negative feedback the visit warranted), I re-visited (in personExceptional Dentistry and spoke privately with Maddy (front-line staff). I relayed the preceding information to Maddy, requesting to put on my chart that Brook (Brooke?never again be assigned as my hygienist. Maddy replied that Brook (Brooke?was no longer with Exceptional Dentistry. Brooks (Brookes?last day with them was the day after my cleaning! Maddy stated Brook (Brooke?had been with them for a year and is a traveling hygienist.After relaying the foregoing to Maddy, theres been no acknowledgment from Exceptional Dentistrys hierarchy concerning my experience with their then-employee, hygienist who performed the dental cleaning. Thus, per their invitation, Im herewith submitting my review as an unacceptable Exceptional Dentistry experience of my recent semi-annual dental cleaning.

I can’t say enough good about Exceptional Dentistry. Everyone there is kind, polite and most importantly, gentle!

I was scheduled to have surgery, but had a tooth bothering me. I called my dentist, who is about 40 minutes away, to get in and I could that afternoon. Well later that morning, I received a call back saying he had an emergency and would be out of the office the rest of the day and scheduled me for the next morning. My surgeon told me if I had an infection, my surgery would be canceled. Later that afternoon, my dentists office called again and said he wouldnt be in the office the next day either. I was panicked!! I called my friend who works at Exceptional Dentistry, even though it was her day off and asked if she thought I might be able to get an appointment. They got me an appointment the next day. I was treated like Id been their patient forever. Nothing against my dentist, but I will be a regular patient at Exceptional Dentistry from now on. Great people and closer for me to go. I give them an A++++

Dr. Patel is a true professional. I have had lots of work done by her and her staff. They are all very happy to see you when you come in. Your time is valuable to them. They are all willing to help make you feel comfortable.

Havent been to the dentist in several years so on a friends recommendation I went to Exceptional. Extremely thorough. Came up with a treatment plan and the rationale for it. It was also surprisingly comfortable, so much so that Im actually looking forward to my next visit!!!

I love Kayla and how caring she is when she cleans my teeth. Everyone is friendly and welcoming! Such a positive experience when going to the dentist!

Im always able to get an appointment at the time I need, the office staff is friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about our insurance plan. We get email, text and phone reminders before each of our appointments. The hygienists are skilled, patient and thorough in addition to being friendly and easy-going with my kids. The dentists evaluate our xrays carefully and dont rush through their examinations. Every 6 months, for many years, my family of 4 has had exams and cleanings at Exceptional Dentistry even though weve never even lived in Dixon. We travel to stay with them because theyre great!

Going to the dentist can be a bit intimidating, especially for littles, but Dr. King and her team lived up to their name. We all had an exceptional experience. My youngest had to return for a cavity filling, they explained the whole process, we’re patient and we were in & out quickly. I would recommend Dr. King and her team to anyone.

Well so far so good. Everyone was friendly n courteous. I went in with an on going issue that wasnt an issue at the moment. but they looked at it carefully. explained what might be going on and referred me to a specialist. they explained the different possibilities but the specialist would be able pinpoint for sure. never thought Id say this, but actually looking forward to going back to see Dr Petal and the staff and establishing myself with Exceptional Dentistry.

Our family has been with Exceptional Dentistry for many years. We appreciate the nice, clean inviting facility and all the staff there. They are friendly AND great at what they do. Theyve been great with our kids. They are organized and communicate well. Everything is quick and easy.

I had a recent issue with a tooth where I felt something break loose when I bit down on something when eating lunch. I was traveling and didnt have any pain or sensitivity so I called to make an appointment to get the tooth checked out. That was on a Friday after business hours and with no pain I didnt call the out of business hours emergency number and waited until Monday morning to stop in for an appointment with the dentist. They set me up with a Wednesday noon hour visit and Im happy to say that the results were very good. I had broken loose a 3/4 porcelain crown that Dr. Hey had done back in 2008. I had kept the crown and Dr. Patel cleaned up the crown, the tooth surface, and etched both, and re-cemented the crown back for a perfect fit. I hope I get another 14 years of use from the tooth. My experience with Exceptional Dentistry is always great. They truly are exceptional.

Dr Patel and Jenny did an excellent job with my fillings yesterday. I was so comfortable. I barely felt the anesthetic or the procedure itself. It was definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had with dental work. I will be going back there for my entire family’s dental needs. Thank you Jenny and Dr. Patel.

Kayla is always so good at what she does. She is very gentle and explains everything she is doing before she does it. She provides excellent education on any concerns my family has. Amy at the front desk is awesome! Always very helpful and a wealth of knowledge. I very much enjoy coming to this office.

LIVES UP TO THE NAMEWe couldn’t be happier as a family to have Dr Chrisham as our dentist, and Kayla (usuallyour hygienist. This office lives up to the name, everyone IS is exceptional. Always prompt, efficient and a great experience. Dr Chrisham is outstanding with children, mine look forward to going! She has given them shots without anxiety or fear. This might be most important at the end of the day. Bringing children here creates a positive experience, which hopefully will translate into lifelong oral health.

These are the greatest bunch of girls ever. All are super nice and very thorough. Dr Patel is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. She is awesome, her staff Jenny and Keiko are amazing also.
