Family Dollar in Pike County

The employees are always friendly and helpful, Im in here all the time and prefer it over the one in Port Jervis.

Order not right. Overcharged and with as many people working it took an extremely long time

Went to pick up some dinner supplies and was rung up while the cashiers were having a fight of some sort. Asked for cigarettes. Eagle reds. Stared at my phone to avoid their tiff and by the time i got home i found newports in my bag. Obviously no exchanging now, but when i addressed the manager about what had happened was dismissed and told to illegally sell thrm myself. Just wasnt her problem to address it or keep her employees in check. Extremely rude and potentially harmful suggestions.

I shop here all the time since, they have almost everything, and prices are good. I went there tonight, the manager was having a long conversation with a customer about surgery while the line was growing behind me. I had to use the bathroom and she said no! I peeded myself on the way home. I will shop at Dollar general from now on!

This store was lit on March 30 2019 there prices were so hot they had to call the fire department gota say there prices were fire

Worst employees ever all new people with no sense so called store security so obvious no wonder they get ripped off mean while Everytime i shop at family Dollar I spend close to if not more then $200 and then get fallowed around by unexspearianced security as if I was stealing today I will be making returns and shopping at Dollar general from now on simply redic and have the employees are know for stealing I havent ever had such an awful experience shopping at family Dollar until they hired these unexspearianced employees

Saved $8.00 with Smart coupons and a very lovely cashier took care of me

Outdated packages are constantly on the shelves, forcing you to check every single thing you pick up. Now even that doesnt seem to be enough, as a loaf of bread purchased on 8/28 and dated for 9/02 was completely full of blue-and-green mold. Theres no point in even attempting to return it, because the staff is anywhere from rude to downright belligerent. They try and usually succeed to refuse every single return, with or without the receipt, whether its expired or broken, or if its even bottle returns for deposits. The store is always a mess with carts full of extra merchandise or lanes of garbage. Legitimately not worth the time with Dollar General up the street and Save-A-Lot down the opposite way.

😘 MOTHER IN LAW WORKS BERE SBE A SWEETHEART

I had bought a twin air mattress which had a hole right out of the box. So I went back with my receipt to exchange it for the exact same thing, hole free.The "lady" at the register/return desk was nasty and said she didnt think these could be returned. I explained itd never been used, only taken out of the box and inflated, when I discovered the hole. This seemed too much for her sub par IQ to process so she went in the back of the store, ostensibly to ask a manager. A few minutes later she came back and announced loudly, "Nope!! Dese cant be wetuwned. It says so white on da box!" This is exactly how she spoke, Im not making fun of her, shes just an idiot. I said I really just needed to get one that I could actually sleep on, there was no way I could do that? She told me to buy another one.I understand they have rules to follow. Its not that they wouldnt take it back it was her attitude. She was actually happy about it and very rude. Dollar General is half a mile down the road and thats where I go from now on.

The manager of the port jervis store is courteous and helpful ive lived here 24 yrs now and since she has managed the store I noticed it is clean well stocked and her staff is also kind and helpful...you cant get better ...they are good!
