The lane we bowled on consistently set up only half the pins for each frame. It also only counted half the pins we knocked down. The scoring system glitched the entire time we were there. Needs an serious update.

Terrible experience. The website says they close at 11. We get there at 10 and the kid at the counter turns us away, says the close an hour early. I tell him what the website says, and he just stares at me. He wouldn’t even talk to me after that. Just stares and shrugs. I wish I got his name because his customer service was horrible. I used to like FatCats but I can see that the quality of the establishment has gone downhill. What a shame. I will take my business elsewhere.

Came in for a game of bowling on a date and the staff were super helpful and extremely friendly. We were helped by Steven and hes hands down the nicest person Ive ever met!!

Broken machines on pretty much every lane that I saw. Bowled 3 games and was unable to get an accurate score due to missing pins and inaccurate counts. Had to switch lanes in the middle and go to the desk several times to get the new lane reset. Every ball looked like it had been run thru a shredder. If you want even a remotely serious game of bowling do NOT come here. I also would NOT recommend bringing young children here after 8 pm. That is when the nasty raunchy music got turned on. And the college kids out on dates started getting a bit frisky with each other.The place is dated and becoming run down without proper maintenance. I only came here because there was no open lane at Miracle Bowl on a Thursday night due to league play. And I had a coupon. ($5hr instead of the normal $12hr.If I would have payed full price I would have asked for my money back and had left after the first 5 minutes of constant lane malfunctions.

Sadly I have had a few experiences here now where I have had to ask for the lane to get reset multiple times because it either got stuck or the pins weren’t reset correctly. They were different lanes too. Staff is friendly and helpful but still a bother to have that happen

I come here to play pool. Are these the best pool tables ever? No. Are these the only pool tables within a 40 minute drive that isn’t coin operated in a pub? Yes, so I can’t be too picky.The staff has always been polite, and I appreciate their hospitality.

Best bowling alley in Utah hands down! My buds and I love to go there and the staff is fantastic! 10/10 would recommend fat cats provo, you won’t regret it!

Matthew the manager is fantastic to work with!!! I had a huge group for a birthday party and had called ahead for a reservation, they got me in at the time I asked and we’re all on top of customer service! Plus the costa vida right next to it has cinnamon tortillas that slap! Def. Gonna go back here time and time again!

Mathew is by far the best employee there. I came in on a Friday afternoon and he made sure I was his top priority. Any question i ever had he was there and ready to answer. Its a very clean facility and very fun. I would definitely go back to this Fat Cats! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the rest of the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. 100% worth it.

Very poor bowling experience. Scores were consistently off, sometimes it wouldnt give you a strike or spare, other times it would give them incorrectly. Our lane kept thinking all the pins were down when sometimes there were only 9 pins, but the worst was how many times it told us it was our turn to bowl, and there were no pins in the lane. at our 1st lane it wouldnt even let us reset the pins, and they finally moved us to a different lane where we kept experiencing the same issues, but this time it let us reset the pins at least. When the scoreboard doesnt give you the spares you bowled in your 1st 2 frames it really takes a lot of the fun out of it.And this alley doesnt have controls to let you change the score, just a button to reset the pins. If you want to change your score you need to go up to the counter every time, which obviously gets old for the employees when every lane is asking them to fix something every frame.Ill definitely go to a different alley next time. Driving 20 minutes to Jack and Jill in American Fork would be more worth it than bowling here.

Lilly is the greatest employee of all time anyone who says otherwise should be canceled right away and alaura is the sweetest and helped us out a lot

I had family and town and was looking for a place that adults, teens and younger kids could enjoy. This place didnt disappoint!The staff was friendly, helpful and even a bit intimidated by our large group. There were 11 of us who bowled and the staff handled it well. One person checked in each bowler while another handed out shoes. I was impressed how quickly we were at our lanes.The lanes were well kept and balls were good. My 7 year old used the bumpers and they were great. There was also the option to use a ball assist which one of the 12 year olds used on a couple and it worked well.Overall we had a great time and even the 2 who thought they wouldnt changed their tune. We will definitely be back!

Fat Cats used to be a lot of fun when I was a kid, but it doesn’t look like management cares for the bowling experience. Multiple times pins were already knocked over when they were dispensed. Our bowling ball spitter didn’t spit out the ball, the ball got stuck in the gutter, etc… overall the place is so trashy now and seems to keep its business because it’s in a college town. Please renovate!

We visit Fat Cats a lot as a family and love it! Clean, wholesome family-friendly environment. They offer great coupon deals. We usually go during the day and dont have to wait .

Came here with the squad once after a meet-up in slc. I absolutely destroyed everyone, of course, because I am too good. The lanes were well kempt and issues were pretty minimal. I remember the bathrooms being pretty clean. Totally going to come back here in September to protect my title as champion. I will obliterate the competition, some of whom I hope get to read this review before then so they can prepare for my arrival.

Incredible vibes, amazing and super friendly staff, delicious food. And, more importantly than all of those things combined, this incredible and patriotic creature. This... great beast (That I can only assume is classified as something like Americasaurus Rexblesses the hallowed halls of this establishment and brings both mirth AND joy to children and adults alike. Upon first laying eyes on this prehistoric patriot I fell to my knees and wept openly. I then hopped back up onto my feet and saluted them for a solid three and a half minutes (This is the standard acceptable salute timingbefore swooping in for a gently bro hug with the absolute champion of a guy. 12/10, will be coming here again and recommending this place and their amazingly dapper dino to all of my friends and family. This was my first experience at Fat Cats and I understand now why it gets such good reviews.The place was remarkable clean and the place offers many lanes for bowling, multiple pool tables, a 3D virtual room... and this is a much as I can tick off. Theres a restaurant but I didnt step in.There are aids to help bowlers of all levels, and I was caught up with watching and enjoying the success of some kids in other lanes. They were so thrilled with themselves and in occasion even made a strike The lane we were using had glitches and there were at least 3 occasions where it wouldnt return the ball and had to get assistance to reset. Even as the bowling ended and we went to cool off and play pool, Only 3 of the 6 tables were available, with a rip and damage to the cloth on the surface of one. After checking out the table surfaces we chose the one with the least damage. The cloth is coming off each of the tables we looked at. And I imagine they all need repair to some degree. There were announcements made over the course of the time I was present, offering prizes such as coupons for bowling in the future.Ill be going back though it will likely be another location.

Love that you can get some Costa Vida while you’re bowling. Most bowling alleys only offer fries and burgers and stuff like that. If you come on a weekday it’s gonna be a lot less busy of course. Even when it does get crowded the staff is still friendly and works hard to meet your needs.

Unfortunately, the lane we got (#17was totally broken. Each time its set up there was a pin missing, and even after at talking to the front desk a couple times the problem persisted. We eventually gave up and just dealt with it. Never got the satisfaction of seeing the strike animations on the TV.

Our pin machine was broken and kept knocking pins over, so they moved us to a lane where the bumpers didn’t work so they stuck pins in it which messed up our bowls.

Older well worn facility. Good for family fun, but not for serious bowlers. Had repeated issue with pinsetter dropping pins - particularly the head pin. Also computerized scoring made mistakes - most notably not recognizing when a spare had been made.

Our experience overall was great because of the staff Joe did a great job trying to fix our problems. We were originally put on lane eight which had problems and then lane 17 which also did not work and so we didn’t end up getting to bowl for the time that we had paid for but Joe made sure that we were compensated for our time and we were really appreciative of that

The employees were extremely nice to us and the food (although priceywas amazing. We were disappointed in the arcade game selection, but everyone had fun bowling and the kids enjoyed the VR.

We had a fun "bro-dal" shower here in spite of the horrible lanes, we made some fun memories, largely due to the wacky pin resetters. Almost every frame had a missing pin, unscheduled lane reset, lost balls, or dropped pins from machine. We changed lanes once but next lane had problems too. Poor performing machines need serviced or replaced.

We have bowled there 3 times in this month and it has really gone down hill. We pay for 1 hour bowling but almost every lane the ball gets stuck and we lose 2 to 8 minutes on our time. Almost all pins setters drop the pins or doesnt set them right. Pin just fall down before we even bowl. No oil on lanes. Staff work hard but owners never take care or keep it working good.

The place was clean and staff was friendly, but they didnt have options to bowl by the game or rent a lane by the hour. Instead, they charge per person per hour, and they even charged for our 1.5 year old. Its been a while since Ive been bowling but the prices seemed extraordinarily steep, which I understand everything has gone up due to inflation, but will definitely deter how often we would return.

Came with a special needs youth group for an anticipated bowling trip. Staff refused to accept the valid coupon deal we had because it was spring break. There were no signs or notices posted about not accepting specialty deals. The budget wouldnt allow for the trip without it. We had to leave empty handed wasting hours of time and disappointing many kids.

The lane we got was really inconsistent with resetting the pins. Sometimes it had 7 others it had all 10. We kept having to go to the front desk to ask them to reset the pins because sometimes it wouldn’t have any at all. Lost a lot of time just walking back and forth to the front. Management was really nice and tried to help us as much as they could.

Don’t come here if you’re actually serious about bowling. First bowling lane they gave us was broken and would reset itself randomly. Second one stopped returning the balls until it broke itself as well. Probably 1/3 of the lanes are just permanently closed.To top it all off, the AC is broken. Probably 80 degrees in here right now

The employees were very helpful and friendly. We found this out when we had to go back to the desk every 3-4 bowlers to fix the jenky pin setters on both of our lanes. Lanes 15 and 16. Bumpers also kept malfunctioning. We asked to possibly switch to different lanes, but they said they didn’t have any others since the good lanes were reserved for a bowling league and the other half had 6 non functioning lanes. I would highly recommend maintaining the equipment to improve the bowling experience. Otherwise, very helpful and kind employees working there.

I’ve been bowling here quite a few times. It’s generally a good experience. Sometimes the pin-setting machines work well and sometimes they don’t and you end up wasting a lot of time waiting for your pins to be reset by the workers. Speaking of workers, most of them are really awesome, but there is one worker, a manager (I thinkthat always acts like the people that talk to her are a burden and she’s not very friendly (at least that’s what I’ve noticed from most of the interactions I’ve seen involving her, including my own experiencesbut the rest are great! The music and atmosphere is fun at night. 3/5 stars because of the salty manager and occasionally jenky pin-setting machine.

If you actually want to bowl, do not go to this bowling alley! Every lane in there was dry and completely un useable. I don’t ever plan on returning to this bowling alley.

Affordable and has Costa Vida attached, so easy to get good food. Not a lot of seating in the lanes. Group next to us had a lane that kept breaking. Atmosphere was okay. I think I like other bowling places better but it was still fun to bowl here.

Great atmosphere, affordable, clean, most importantly fun! Great for family outings, date nights, whatever! Employees are very kind and helpful as well. Bonus points- you can grab food from Costa Vida and eat while you bowl!

Kris was so nice and very knowledgeable! The alleys are very clean and overall well kept. I bowl here about 3 times a week and have never had and issues!!

Fat Cats was a perfect spot for my sons birthday celebration. We got there before 5:00 pm, so the bowling was $5 per person for an hour with shoes. We ordered some food (which was yummy and not too expensiveand then finished with some VR. It was perfect for a bunch of 14 year old boys (and the rest of our family had fun too!).

We went for a birthday celebration. It was pretty fun. The bowling is affordable before 5:00 pm it was only $5. Food and drinks are overpriced. A medium soda is $3. Luckily it’s attached to a Costa Vida restaurant so you can get regular priced food and drink, that tastes better anyway, without having to go far.

We got to try the VR- virtual reality the other night! It was so fun!! It was nice to get to watch each other go, lots of TVs to watch what they are doing. The staff was very friendly!! Great place!!

We have been going around 2:30 or 3 on week days and have the place to ourselves. If there are any ever issues, they are reasonable and kind. Clean, fun, and great food options with the Costa vida attached. Plenty of room for a big group too.
