Mario of First Choice Exteriors stopped by while working on my neighbors house. They had had hail damage and he explained to me that since I was in the same area of this hailstorm I could have damage to my roof. If so, it is very likely covered by homeowners insurance. I was skeptical at first but we talked through it and he offered to inspect my roof for free. He came down with photos that showed damage to both by shingles and my crown vent. I contacted my insurance company and their claim appraiser inspected my roof, verified that I had hail damage over the whole roof, and processed the claim. Working with Mario was very easy. He is generous with information and handles things quickly and professionally. I signed a contract, selected my shingle style, and within two weeks had a new roof. First Choice Exteriors did a quick professional installation and the roof is beautiful. They use top notch roofing materials (GAF). I am more than satisfied and I dont think you could go wrong working with Mario and his crew.

I cant say enough how much we appreciate the team from First Choice. We had storm damage to our roof and wanted to use a local contractor. They came out right away, even though it was a smaller job, and did an inspection as well. Even though it was a small job, they treated us like we were a priority. We are hoping to put an addition on the house this year and will call them again when it is time for the roofing and gutter work.

These guys found me at the perfect time. I happened to be outside my house when they approached me. They were offering a free roof inspection to see if I had hail damage from a previous storm. I didn’t remember a hail storm and was slightly skeptical but I figured it couldn’t hurt. Turns out they found damage and visible damage that I could see. I had just never noticed the holes in my screens and dents in my fascia. The storm date happened to be when we were on vacation so it made sense I didn’t remember.I reported the claim to my insurance and they sent an insurance adjuster out. Javi and Mario came out with the adjuster in case there were any questions. I was approved.The crew that came out to install the roof couldn’t have been any better. They were thorough and efficient. They cleaned up and put things back where they found it. They were done in a day.Throughout the whole process Javi was in constant communication. He went above and beyond to makes sure I was satisfied. Highly recommend!

If I could give 10 stars, I would! From the time I called the business for an estimate for roof replacement through installation and afterwards, I received nothing but superb service. Justin is so professional, he listens to the customer needs and then executes phenomenally. From the estimate to the completion of my roof, this was one of the most professional contractors Ive dealt with in my 71 years.

Upon hiring a contractor to replace our roof and old siding, I looked around for a local company because I prefer to spend my money locally and support small businesses. I found First Choice Exteriors from a few online searches and seeing some consistently positive reviews.After calling the office, one of the Project Managers contacted me shortly after and came over the very same day to assess the work needed to be done. Chris Guillen was very responsive and professional, and spent all the time needed with my wife and I as we went over our options and color selections. Within 24 hours we had an estimate in writing. The price was fair and the materials to be used were of top quality, so we ended up writing up the contract and putting down a deposit. Work was scheduled to be done within a week of signing the contract, this was the middle of November 2021. Like clockwork, the materials were drop shipped, then a roll-off dumpster was delivered.The following day (Fridayand army of workers from Jasons team showed up to start work tearing out and replacing the roof. It took them nearly all day, but it was done and looked great. They even took the time to assess and replace some damaged sheathing and repair a loose roof truss. Chris was in contact the whole time, often visiting a couple times throughout the days. The beginning of the next week work was started on the siding. It was nearly 30-year old plywood siding, much of it starting to rot near the ground. A huge undertaking. Jason and his team traveled from Lancaster to Fairfield each morning and worked until past sundown each day. Mind you, this was during Thanksgiving week. They did take off that Thursday as I would have expected, but resumed work on Friday and finished up on Saturday. What a huge project - and what an amazing difference, its like a completely different house. All workers were professional and attentive to details. I cannot believe it was able to get done over a holiday week — Incredible! These are standup guys, no doubt.As someone who has worked in the home improvement industry (Kitchen & Bathfor over 20 years, I cannot speak more highly of Chris Guillen, Lead Sub Jason & his Team - and the rest of First Choice Exteriors. The attention to detail, responsiveness, and overall quality of workmanship was above and beyond my expectations.

Had a leak in my roof and the wood underneath was starting to rot. Quick estimate, excellent price, even better work. They saw that it needed fixed fast and got it done fast. I wouldnt have known that I had hail and wind damage if Justin wouldnt have offered to inspect my roof for it. So, sure enough, I had hail damage from the hail storm in June 2020. He encouraged me to put in a claim, and the full cost of the install, minus deductible, was covered by my insurance. From the time I put in a claim, and the adjuster came to my house to inspect the damage, until the final install, it was less than 2 weeks until completion. Roof and gutters were installed in that time period. They did a great job on installation, and cleanup of the debris. Cant say enough about the service provided by First Choice Exteriors!

The crew was awesome, one of the best experiences I had with a home improvement project. At all times they kept my best interest in mind and did a fantastic job. They also went the extra mile and helped me a few things which were not directly related to the roof, because they noticed I needed a hand :)

First Choice Exteriors was excellent from start to finish. Constant, lightening fast communication from Chris. Arrived on time and did everything they said they would. Although our insurance adjuster could not make a professional recommendation per his code of ethics, he reported that he has worked with them many times and they have always communicated and followed through with their repairs. He never had any complaints. Could not recommend them more for our roof replacement, giving the fact that it has been a few weeks vs 20 years. Would do it again if needed.

These guys were fantastic! Zach and Justin, the guys who handled our house, really advocated for us with our insurance company when they tried to get out of replacing our siding. First Choice was always on time, extremely helpful, and completely transparent about costs and timelines. They got the job done promptly and were in constant contact with us throughout the process. We have worked with our share of disreputable or so-so contractors, so the fact that we would recommend First Choice is a testament to how great their service was! We totally recommend them.
