First United Methodist Church in Otsego County

Beautiful Church! Church members are so friendly and welcoming. The Sunday school program teachers and volunteers are incredibly friendly and truly kind people. This is probably the most welcoming all inclusive church in the entire town and I’ve visited several. I would encourage anyone reading this to visit during Sunday services especially young adults or families with children.

Fun community events

I took organ lessons at this church many years ago. I went to a BELLS concert. It was excellent. They need to do some marketing to really increase their attendance. Especially after working so hard. And everyone had white gloves except for one man? Need to be in a uniform everyone looks the same. One of the men needs to blend in with everyone else. Only saying bc the group talked about competitions the actual concert performance was awesome!!!

FUMC has a long and distinguished commitment to issues of social justice. The pastor is warm and enthusiastic. If you want to be serious about living a life of service in Christ, this is a terrific place to worship and get involved. Dynamic church school on Sunday nights.
