Love it beautiful some of the best four-wheeler riding there is but some paths are for more experience riders but they easy ones two been hunting, fishing, camping, and four-wheeler riding there for 30 years great walking place to for older people lots of shade great times I swear here the pics I got

There are not many places in eastern Ky that have more natural beauty than this one. There are so many things to do here. Camping is at the top of the list. There is fishing, boating (except no motors allowed on the water). Thats why it is an awesome place to take a small boat and just paddle around.They have horeshoes set up, shelters, a couple of bath houses, and grills made of stone and steel. Id say the lake is stocked with Trout through the winter. And Ive caught a real nice Largemout Bass here and there. If you go, enjoy. Just watch out for pit vipers as there both rattlesnakes and copperheads aplenty.

It was once a beautiful pristine wilderness area, Then Judge Rubin Watts cme in and stripped a lot of timber, and tried to mine it beore he was indicted and kicked out. judge Carol Smith repaired most of the damage, and had it looking good, but then Judge Jm Ward and EQT came there, tore down the tennis courts, tore down the picnic sheds, cut most of the ttrees drilled and stripped, and put gas lines al over. It is still pretty, but only a shadow of what it once was. Only time will tell. We have learned already to not expect anything from the new judge Terry Adams. I suggest you go on to North fork of pound lake where it is still pristine. The fishing is 10 times better, and the beach and campgrounds are top notch.
