Quite pricey for a fast food restaurant. A large fry costs 9 dollars. The potatoes are freshly sliced but I dont know if the price tag is reasonable. The burgers are pricier than other comparable fast food places like In-N-Out
Their fries are always amazing and would eat a large even on a full stomach.
The burger and fries were great, but the soda machines were out of almost everything, including carbonation. Ketchup dispenser was also out. This was weird because it was completely dead inside our entire visit. It was our first time going and we could have used help figuring out how to order since we eventually found that everything comes separate and we didnt know the toppings. The cashier appeared to have had her soul sucked out by a dementor because she was literally worse than a robot. She then ran back to the back to yell at another employee and come back to ring us up on a second register. Not sure what that was about, but for a $20 per person meal I expected better service.
Great burger. Grilled while you wait. Not dried out being made ahead of time and kept under infrared lamps, like some other burger joints?
Tables were dirty had to clean a place to set first. Then the burger was very soggy the bun was falling apart from how wet it was. Not going back there but to go to Red Robin down the road there.
Food was good, I was surprised about the mushrooms I also didnt know because the cashier was so blank, rude , and tbh if you dont like your job why you there... They need to add someone friendly and helpful because it was our first time there and we where so clueless and she was useless a Kiosk would of been better than dealing with someone like Ciera.
Who in the world think mushrooms should come on a regular cheeseburger? And if I wanted a MCD’s sized hamburger I would have gone to MCD’s. No combos either. So you get bent over a barrel price wise if you want a drink and fry’s too. Poor customer service and super long wait times.
Love, love, love their food. Very nice people too!
They gave me a second free milkshake because we were waiting a while for our food and we were kind of drunk and he was so sweet and patient with us 💓
Good burger and amazing fries but they are a little expensive for what it is.
I came in to have a cheeseburger and I observed and heard the manager tell an employee to clock out, in a loud tone of voice. I wasn’t able to hear the subordinate because he was a bit discreet about what he was trying to tell the manager, but the manager raised his voice loud enough that customers were able to hear him, and although the manager apologized for the loudness, he should have spoken in a lower tone of voice or gone to the other side of the wall and spoken to the subordinate privately.
Completely over rated. Burgers are not big at all. Totally lacked flavor. The hotdogs were just pathetic n shriveled. If your a regular youve never experienced a real meal.. It was a waste of time and money trying it out. We will never go back and Definately wont recommend to anyone. Id rather eat a bowl of lard with a hair in it. We left unsatisfied and still hungry !
Very good burger, it is a bit more pricey than the regular burger spots, but the meat tastes fresh and so do all the ingredients that you choose to put in the burger, which makes the prices worth it.
What can I say about five guys other than its a standard burger place good and consistent you know what youre going to getQuality food and a lot of friesTheir staff is always friendly and the dining rooms are always clean the same with the restroom
I went here and the place was hella smokey and they wouldnt take any more orders I dont think they can cook lol
Would not recommend, the meat in the burger was flavorless and the cheese was cheap. The only redeeming thing was that the frys and my shake were great.
Food is good, but $18 for a small burger, small fries and small drink with a fast food atmosphere is a little high. You can get the same or better burgers at a restaurant near by.
I went today try out there hamburgers and fries and honestly they are pretty good they’re good it was my first time eating there too!!! The girls are working at that time they were Really friendly and nice and they were pretty fast!!! I will definitely go again!!!
I going to give them 5 stars but Ill wait for my second visit. They were polite and speedy. How ever a bit pricey. The food was excellent
This place is pretty good. The burger was a little over cooked but otherwise it was okay. The fries seemed burnt also. The price is ridiculously high for what you get. The staff were friendly and quick. The wait isn’t long for a fresh grilled burger. They’re also generous with napkins and ketchup packets.
Burgers are great!! Although the quality of the fries has gone downhill. They used to be golden delicious, but the last 3 times I have came they have been really dark, burnt looking and have not tasted the best, very over crunchy.
I dont understand the hype behind this place. Maybe its just this specific location that isnt great? The food is overpriced for what you get at nearly $10 a burger. The hot dogs are just plain sad. The burgers are a bit better than any other generic fast food place, but i found the patties to be bland. They taste unseasoned to me. Overall, these burgers arent worth it.
First time tried five guys. We have a lot of good local burger places so I wanted to experience this burger place and understand why their prices are so high and if its justified. My verdict is that its not worth the price. Its a decent burger places. The burger is fresh and fries are okay and not something I havent experienced in any other local burger shops. I have had similar burgers and fries in other local burger places like Bobs giant burger and with a fraction of price. The burgers taste similar to habit burger so there is nothing extraordinary. Their fries when cold tasted worse than McDonalds. I wouldnt be a regular here anytime soon.
Great burgers and Cajun fries. Warning..you have to eat the burgers within a few minutes. Driving home with them makes the bottom bun soggy. Only outside patio dining available.
Very friendly. They messed up my order and were happy to fix it and gave me a free milkshake for the trouble.
Everything was wrong from the beginning. We called my wife’s food in. When on the phone you could tell the person on the other end just isn’t interested. Heavy sighs and had to repeat things multiple times. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger, mayo, ketchup, grilled unions with Cajun fries and a large drink. Once we get there, there’s another couple ordering. So we stand back to give them their space. Then an employee that’s cooking shouts and asked if we had called an order in. We say yes and she tells us we have to pay for our food, as if we didn’t know that.... we pay for our food and leave. Then we have to go back inside because they forgot the drink. Then we get to the car and realize they gave us regular fries instead of Cajun. So I go back in and have to wait while they make the correct frys. Then we get home and realize the burger doesn’t have cheese or bacon. They literally got the whole order wrong........ there’s literally nothing difficult about our order and they managed to get EVERYTHING wrong.. my wife loves five guys and this is the first time she’s said her burger was nasty. Not to mention we’re charged extra for cheese and bacon. In no way did we get what we paid for.
Long wait but the burgers are as good or better than elsewhere. Much better than the big chains. Great fries in huge volume; a small feeds two.
From the time I entered this place I loved it, they have peanuts out to grab and it was very clean. The customer service was amazing and we received our food very quickly. Our food was tasty and I would honestly prefer there food over some of the other burger joints in the same parking lot. I love the style and again it was very clean.
Five guys has really good fries and serve a lot of them. The burgers are really big too. This is good place to eat, just try not overdraft
I just went to 5 Guys, I had a 2 patty cheeseburger with regular fries and it was really GOOD ! It is expensive for burger & fries if U WANT to spend the MONEY. My food costs $ 14.39 . But it was tasty , I WILL say !
Good burgers and sinple menu. The grill is right behind the cashier so you can see them making your meal. There are peanuts in boxes around the restaurant so you can take as many as you want for your meal for free.
Fresh meat and huge choice of toppings for your burger, real ice cream shakes, and great fries. For me its a little more money than your typical fast food restaurant but you cant beat the quality.
Very cool joint. Excellent service by great staff. Clean environment with all the walls covered in (well-deservedglowing reviews of their burgers and fries. And free peanuts while you wait for them to cook your food. Delicious burger, fries, and milkshakes.
Ive been to 5 Guys here and one other place before and this last time I was not impressed. DONT GET ME WRONG, THE SERVICE WAS GREAT!!! BUT, I seem to remember hand made 1/2 pound burger patties with awesome flavor. When was that replaced with flavorless pre-fabricated 4-in-1 frozen patties? I also dont recall my burger being smothered in grease like a condiment. Please tell me this is location based and not chain-wide... if so, i just lost my favorite hamburger joint. Wheres the nearest BurgerIM?
I love the food here! Great burgers, fries, and milkshakes. You get a ton of food for the price and every time I have been here the staff has been very friendly.
Never had 5 guys before and was so happy with it. The burger was great and got the cajun fries those were amazing. Milkshake is good but way to expensive to get again and there is a charge to add whip cream. Good food but expensive
Soo expensive for a little burger and fries - I paid almost $12 dollars for those two items for my toddler. And that was without a drink! Lets see if my 3 year old will actually eat it and enjoy it
This was our first time to eat there and I thought was a little pricey until the hamburger came and had two Patties on it I didnt notice I could order just one so maybe its not so pricey. Service is good we are greeted warmly. And I just thought the french fries at $4.05 for a tiny bit of fries was way way way too high. Would go back to the hamburger it was delicious with everything they put on it including mushrooms
Overpriced deliciousness and their fries are amazing! Their food does note taste like the rest and they are very unique in taste and flavor. I usually get the their bacon double and large fries with a drink. My kid will get the grilled cheese and a drink... It will run you about $28.00 for that. Yes you can get a cheaper meal at Red Robin for that and I often do. I will eat here like every like once every three months. Honestly my kid picked this place today because he wanted to eat the free peanuts... 4 Stars because this isnt fast food!
The day that I came here there was actually 3 Guys and 2 girls working... I guess there was still 5 people but Im not really one to cry false advertising. The people that work here are really nice and they know how to make one mean Burger. They have the soda machine that can create thousands of different combinations but unfortunately the purple stuff was not working on this day. I like five guys better than in and out or Nations or McDonalds or King Burger or Wendys or Donald Ringgits Happy Burger. This is really a great addition to the city of Riverbend and I hope everyone comes here and has a burger.
Tonight was the first time my family and I dined at Five Guys in Riverbank, Ca. Service was good, staff was knowledgeable, pleasant, very helpful, and very friendly. The restaurant (and in fact the bathroomwas very clean, and always kept up by staff. Food was prepared and delivered in a reasonable time. All of the food tasted excellent. The only thing I could say on the other end would be the price was a little high to me. I paid $65 for dinner for four consisting of 2 🍔, 2 cheese 🍔, 2 small 1 medium and 1 large 🍟, and 3 large drinks and 1 milkshake. Overall a great experience, good food, nice staff and I will definitely take my family back to the Riverbank Five Guys for lunch and/or dinner.
Best burgers and fries, hands down. My boyfriend took me for the first time a few days ago and wow! The burgers taste like they come straight from home and you can customize your burger any way you like with no extra charge! Its pricey, but boy you get what you pay for and it gives Carls JR a run for its money.
Great place. Friendly and efficient people working there. The price is high, but the food quality is worth it. Its superior than what fast food restaurants have to offer. Its a great treat for us.
So delicious and juicy and mouthwatering but holy Duck how did we just spend $60 on burgers!?!This is deemed a "special occasion" burger joint because feeding a family of 4 burgers and fries here at this price is untenable. I also kind of hated the bags of potatoes out in the open dining area, just waiting to be tainted by some d-bag (you know theyre out there)Even with all my criticisms, this food was phenomenal.
Meh. Fries were grossly overcooked, employees not very friendly, soda machines dirty and not working right, and waaaaaaay overpriced for the quality. For the price go get better burgers at Red Robin, or save some money and get better food at In n Out. So not impressed with this place 😝
More so than its competitors, when you enter Five Guys you are transported into a fast-food wonderland. A flavorful combination of meat-toppings-bun that youve been pining over the past hour or so will be there waiting, and will not disappoint you. The flavors are not particularly inspiring, but there are many options, and will be assembled with care. The classic rock echoing off the white linoleum walls, and seemingly reverberating off of each enormous bag of peanuts encircling half the dining area creates a unique experience that allows you and your hamburger to face-off in a fun way.
The wait was long. The burgers were small and expensive. The burgers did not taste good. The cheese tastes like the Kraft cheese slices (but more fakeand they put one small piece of bacon on the bacon burger. The patties are small and thin and not worth the $8 for just the burger alone. The place was messy. Garbage was over flowing. I do not recommend this place!
Dont get me wrong. They make a good burger, but this place is EXPENSIVE! I ordered a cheeseburger, which ended up being a double cheeseburger, if you want a single you have to ask for the little cheeseburger, a small fries, and a small drink. It ended up being over $18. $18! EIGHTEEN DOLLARS! The burger was good, but when you factor in the price it was awful. Yeah its better than McDonalds or Burger King. It was on par with a Double Double from In-N-Out, or a Wendys Burger. But at like triple price??? You do get a lot of fries but to catch up to the price Id have to carry them out in a wheel barrow. I just dont get what all the fuss is about. For one meal here I can eat three at another place and the quality is NOT that big of a difference.
I should have returned my food and got my money back. After a long wait the burgers were dry and didnt taste very good. The place was extremely dirty and the garbage cans were overflowing. If you want to try Five Guys definitely go to the Fremont location
My first experience at 5 guys was in Dublin and it was great. The burgers and fries were made perfectly and tasted incredible!! However, I recently went to the 5 guys in Riverbank and I was displeased with everything! My burger and fries werent up to scratch. The burgers and fries were soggy and greasy. My fries were practically like mashed potatoes. It was just terrible!
