Flint Creek Campgrounds in Yates County

This place is a joke. High expectations for a cornfield with no privacy. All of the sites are on top of each other. The playground lacks updated items. The seesaw looks as if it is going to snap at any given moment. There are no trails to hike. The bathroom by the rec hall has carpet in the showers, looks unsanitary. I will not be returning

Friends and I were hoping to find a couple of cabins to stay in for May Day. These were recommended to us and turned out to be ideal for our celebrations. I was not aware I needed to bring linens for the beds however I had enough blankets and the heater worked great so I was still comfortable. Bathrooms are a short walk away and there are showers available. This campground is a hidden little gem in the heart of NY. There is wifi available in the main office which is useful since there is no cell service on the grounds.

We have spent the last 5 or 6 years here being a seasonal! We can’t say enough about how wonderful this campground is. Peaceful and quiet. The owners Beth and Gary have become family as well as all the other seasonal campers. We are leaving this year because we are moving next summer. I’m very sad to not be there, but we have already booked Memorial Day weekend! Can’t wait! Thank you Flint Creek Campground for being our little slice of heaven every weekend!

We stayed for a long weekend so we were close to our daughters wedding venue. We were greeted very welcoming and our site was really good size. It was a shame we werent able to enjoy the camping part of our stay with all the wedding activities. I gave it 3 stars because we had no cell service at all. This made it extremely difficult for us to communicate with the wedding party. We had to drive down the road just to make a phone call. Sadly, it got us thinking that in case of an emergency no one would have been able to reach us. We dont have a problem being off the internet, but not being able to use our phone is a deal breaker.

We had a great time tent camping, the pond sites were huge with electric and water!! Only 15 minutes from Branchport, Keuka lake boating!! Clean bathrooms a plus!!

We stayed here with our family for the weekend. Great place for the kids. The kids loved the playground, the activities set up by the staff and the wagon ride around the camp. There are several seasonal folks and everyone was very friendly. The staff was welcoming and kind.

Great place to camp

If youre a seasonal person, it seems to be great. However, if youre coming for a few days, forget it. It is like a cult. Not very welcoming. On the surface nice. It is a very particular crowd here, one that I certainly did not fit in with. The sites have little or no shade. Full service sites saved for seasonal stays. Please pick somewhere else to stay.

Everything about this place was great! We were looking online last minute for a spot to camp and came across this place. We had a wonderful stay and even though covid protocols were in place the staff went out of there way to help in anyway they could. I was in search of some allergy medicine and the owner went through her own personal supply to find some rather than make me buy it from her! Thats the type of people you are dealing with there. Just real genuine nice folks who really care for their campers! They have a nice store with lots of goodies from camp gear to clothing and pool toys and there is lots to do both on site and nearby. They have huge fields to fly kites or throw footballs or baseballs around. A basketball hoop, pool, mini golf, 3 playgrounds and a huge well maintained and manicured dog park for your furry kids! All roads are maintained and easy riding for bikes or jogging. The grass is well taken care of and the people that stay there really keep things nice and quiet at night. No college aged kids partying all night long like some of the state parks we have been to. Pen Yan is 20 mins away for grocery or supplies. The windmill shopping is close and keuka lake state park is close as well for kayaking fishing. Totally worth the drive from anywhere to stay here for a night or many! Very family friendly, quiet and easy going camp ground. Activities are planned throughout the week. Rates are reasonable. Lots of seasonal campers and RVs. Amenities are good like play areas, small pool, escape room, put-put, corn hole, free use of basket balls, pool floats, etc., church services, crafts, pavilion, wagon rides, large and clean dog run, small store showers, restrooms with flush toilets and sinks throughout the camp. Plenty of full hook up sites along with tent sites. They have 2 cabins as well. Beth and Gary will treat you like family if you do the same. Safety, your enjoyment and keeping the camp clean is their top priority.

Nice quiet campground, friendly staff. Has a nice public pool, however their public restrooms and showers need to be updated.

Gary and Beth and their Son are awesome people to know...They have been so nice to us and treated us like family for the 13 years we have been going..We really love it at the campground and plan on becoming a seasonal someday and love the quiet and friendly people there.They keep the place clean and take care of their campers when the need arises...Thank you very much for all you do for everyone and making our camping experience a memorable one

Checked in late Friday night and everyone was still up and very welcoming. Owners/staff were very friendly. The spots are very spacious and pretty well kept up. Lots of stuff for the kids to do. We will definitely be staying there again.

Cabin was very nice, clean, heat/ac, fridge, cozy. Nice park, clean nathrooms, friendly owners.

Well the campground it self is pretty, small but pretty. We have a 34 foot fifth wheel the spot they had us in was terrible.. Trees were over grown, thank God we had no wind because it would have damaged the camper. We have a four year old son and 10 year old daughter we were at the playground and there were about 10 twelve to I would say thirteen years olds hanging around swearing dropping the f bomb... Kids were pushing our son down the slide and hitting him. We went to tell the office and some guy came out and just stood there.... We decided not to go back to the playground again... The pool was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen in my entire life. Before they opened it for the day there was a film acrossed the top, my husband and I were standing there when the Jets came on... I almost got sick... So now we can use the pool, cant go to the playground, kids cant run in the field next to us since it hadnt been mowed. Thats another thing before setting up our camp we had to take the hay field of a site we had... The people that run the camp ground are extremely nice, but one of the most poorly maintenanced campground we have ever been at. We travel all over and have seen a lot of different camp grounds... We will never ever be back ....

Stayed here memorial day weekend for the first time and wont be the last! Park was clean and easy to get around. The seasonal campers and owners were very nice. Fun safe environment!
