The dental & office staff were personable and efficient. My appt was at 11:00am and it was my 1st visit. After filling out some paperwork, I was seen by Dr. Smith within 15 minutes. He was great!

Dr. Smith and his whole staff are professional, knowledgeable and kind. They are friendly andmake you feel at ease. We have already recommended them to our friends.

Had an semi-emergency, got me in within 2 hrs without an appointment. Treated the problem and scheduled an appointment for a thorough exam 5 weeks later. Great service and very attentive to my situation as an 80 year old heart attack victim with bleeding issues. I highly recommend Florence Family Dentistry.

I ended up being almost an hour late and amazingly they still took me for my appointment! They were very knowledgeable and courteous to my every need. I got exrays and a very quick appointment to return to fix my dental issues! I would recommend Dr Smith to anyone!

BEWARE DO NOT TRUST THE REVIEWS!Wish I could give 0 stars. They are the biggest rip offs and the ladies that work there are so rude, the only nice one was the lady who was in training! My husband went in for a cleaning, x-rays, and exam! $200 later all he got was X-rays and a VERY small exam!!!! Then quoted us $1200 for a deep clean (which is not neededand 2 cavities. WE WILL NEVER BE BACK! YOU HAVE LOST 3 PATIENTS!

The staff at Florence Family Dentistry are all superb. Im fairly new to the area and was in need of some dental work and Ive always been apprehensive around dentists. This team does a wonderful job all around.

Doctor Smith and staff are incredible. I broke a tooth last night, they worked me in today. I needed a root canal. So lucky to not have to wait. Thank you I am no longer in pain and feeling so much better.

Fantastic dentist and office staff! I have been a patient of Dr. David Smith’s brother, Dr. Jared Smith, for nearly 15 years. I cracked a tooth and Dr. Jared Smith was out of town. His brother Dr. David Smith was kind to be on call for him. The office got me in swiftly and Dr. David Smith did a beautiful job fixing me tooth. Nice to know I have 2 awesome dentists locally now! I want to add that I am picky about my dental care. My mother has been in dentistry for 30 years but is out of state. I was grateful for her to help me research and find Dr. Smith! Had a wonderful first experience here. Staff is courteous and professional, Dr. Smith not only evaluated my x-rays but, knowing Id driven 45 minutes to get to the office and that it would be a hassle to schedule another appointment and come back right away to have my teeth cleaned, cleaned and polished then himself, even though we were at the end of the workday! Who does that?! Im 62... never in my life have I had a dentist willing to do that, to go out of his way like that. Im a raving fan.

The entire staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Smith was able to give me one painless shot and one that only pinched a little bit. My mouth was quickly numb and ready for the PAINLESS extraction. Thank you for making this scary procedure "a piece of cake". He gave me instructions for home care that came in handy. Ive been very pleased with the care Ive received since 2008.

Top notch dentistry. I had to have an emergency tooth extraction and Dr. Smith coaxed my tooth out gently and painlessly. It was almost like he politely asked the tooth to leave and it jumped out on its own. Excellent patience with patients, good staff & bedside manner, top notch dentistry all around.

Dr Smith is an earnest doctor with lots of experiences . He always discuss with patient for their cases . We like him and respect him.

My first visit with Florence Family Dentistry was a very good experience. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. I had a terrible tooth issue and Dr. Smith handled it so well and fixed my issue. It was unexpected and he went ahead and took the time to fix it. Ive never felt better.

This is an amazing group of individuals. Dr. Smith was both personable and professional...so friendly. The team also worked to get my X-rays from my previous dentist office, so I wouldnt have to go through bitewings unnecessarily. Also, while my previous dentist recommended a filling replacement, Dr. Smith said it was unnecessary and could wait. Thank you so much! See you in six months!

Great as usual. Realize today that Ive been there 15 years and so is Sharlena. Dr Smith is always taking care of me referred me once out for a wisdom tooth extraction to an oral surgeon which went really well and has got me in twice for a couple of emergencies I love this place

New patient. When I walked in, the welcome was great, I had been unable to print paperwork, everyone continued to be friendly, Went to the back and intake and X-ray was very efficient. They have worked to ensure slavery during Covid. Dr Smith came in, friendly bu matter of fact demeanor. Proceed wit exam. Gavemeacouple of choices. Best dental place Ive ever been! Ive used a couple dental places in Pueblo before I started coming to Florence Family Dentistry. Florence blows the Pueblo offices out of the water, hands down! From the second you walk in they have the nicest, most knowledgeable staff. I have never had to sit in the waiting room. They always get patients right in and out in a timely manner.I have been getting my cleanings there for a couple years and they are great. I recently had a couple teeth pulled, and not an ounce of pain. I was expecting to be in a lot of pain for a few days, but I was eating normal that night. Hardly had any bleeding, and walked out in 30 minutes.Great Doctor with awesome staff backing him up! Highly recommend this Dental team!

Having a severe fear of the dentist due to traumatic events I was surprised how calm I felt during my visit. The receptionist was personable, genuine and a great listener and that set a calm and relaxing tone for the whole visit. The woman who took my x-rays was quick yet relaxed. Had a motherly concerned for my comfort. Dr. Smith also had a calm and genuine demeanor. All my questions were answered. The hygienist was thorough and extremely gentle (even for someone like me with sensitive teeth and receding gums). Everyone treated me like family. In all my years of being terrified of the dentist this was the most pleasant experience I have had in my entire life. I am so grateful for having found this practice. Life changing.

As is always the case, my most recent visit to Florence Family Dentistry was quite pleasantly uneventful. I experience no anticipatory anxiety leading up to my visit. Upon arrival I am greeted cordially and lead back to the treatment area in a timely manner. Shelene, the practices registered dental hygienist, is always so friendly and outgoing, putting me instantly at ease and in a calm frame of mind. As she begins the cleaning process we engage in small talk about our family’s and community events. The cleaning process is thorough, painless and relatively quick. During the process Dr. Smith stopped into the treatment room to check out my oral health, we chat and he gives my mouth, teeth and gums the once over and pronounces me good to go. At the conclusion of my visit I get a goody bag of a toothbrush, toothpaste and floss. See ya in six months.

Wonderful experience from the very first phone call. I was having throbbing tooth pain and my husband called the dentist office. We had never been there before and they gave me an appointment the very next day. They actually worked me in. I need a root canal, and he gave me three choices. I chose to have him do it. I went in on a Friday afternoon and they worked me in for Monday at noon. I have not been there yet for my root canal but I am so thankful at how caring and thoughtful they are. A lot of offices would be grumbling about working someone in, they greeted me with smiles and we’re very happy to help. I will update later on my root canal. Oh, one more thing the dentist was very gentle and caused me no pain during the exam! I am so glad we have found a dentist in our area at last!

Best dental practice I have ever had the pleasure of being a patient of. The staff is outstanding in everything they do. Dr Smith is knowledgeable and very attentive to your issues with your teeth. Shylene is an outstanding hygienist and very through with cleaning. I would recommend this practice to anyone wanting a first class dentist and staff.

They are awesome! We had a "family visit" for myself, my 6 year old, my 4 year old, AND my 3 year old! They were great! It was quite literally, a painless visit, and nobody had any cavities! They were so accommodating, and great with my kids! Im so thankful that they allow me to get us all in at once!

I love this dental experience. David Smith is extremely skilled. The first time I went after working on my teeth Dr. Smith put his hands together and did a little bow. Peaceful space. He laughs a lot but is a quiet soul enjoying his artistry. His staff is busy but I nice.

I have had several appointments and they are always on time. All the staff is very friendly and assist you in any way neccessary. They do an excellent job explaining all the procedures to be performed and I have never had any issues with any dental work. Very pleased with all they have done for me. Highly recommended.

We recently moved to Westcliffe and had been shopping for a new dentist. We noticed the sign out front of the Florence Family Dentistry for new patients. We called and made a appointment which I must say they got us in right away. I will say the staff there are awesome. The X-ray tech was so caring and fast! Not only did they do the X-rays and exam but also did our cleanings. We are very happy we found a dentist and staff that make you feel like they care. They even made my service dog feel welcome.

I love Florence Family Dental. They are honest. My former dentist was lying and charging me for procedures I did not need. The last thing he told me was I needed to remove a crown because he didnt know what was you going on underneath when I was having no pain or problems whosoever. Florence told me not to remove the crown. I have been going there for several years. They clean my teeth and tell me everything looks good. They are friendly and professional. They were patient and wobderful with my 5 year old daughter also .

I dont mind going to the dentist!! Dr. Smith and his staff are amazing and compassionate. A few months ago he filled my tooth and did acrown build up. He was very patient with me and made sure I wasnt in pain. We also hear billing issues and Marlo and staff worked diligently to help us resolve them with our insurance, I would highly recommend this office!!!

I have been a patient with Dr David Smith since the early 2000s. I know you cant say every treatment will be painless but I can say mine and my husbands have always been. They include crowns as well as a root canal. They staff is great! The hygienist- Shelene- is awesome! The assistants are knowledgeable and have always answered all our questions.
