The owner of this company is an incompetent and very greedy man. Ive been under his employ for lack of a better option for a few years. Recently Ive had to leave do to a disagreement over principles, which has been long over due. Do not use his service. He is the opposite of everything he claims he is. Ive collected checks from costumers paying over 1500$, after sealing some gutters and cleaning valleys. Did a good job, only took a few minutes. I was paid like 12$ maybe, the caulking cost like 4$. Wheres the fluff going? Some times its the only reason he sends two men... They over charge 3 or 4 times the actual cost. And fluff the invoice to make it work. Theyre an immoral company led but an incredibly immoral man who betrays anyone who trusts him and keeps NONE of his promises.

The job they did on the roof repair was good. Getting them there to do it was another thing. I liked their bid for the work but getting them to do the work was not an easy thing.

Everyone with the Cal West team is a joy to work with. They acted with integrity and care throughout the entire process and the installation crew does top quality work!

Cal West is a wonderful company. I bought a house in April and it needed a new roof. They were so fast and fit me in early. Toni and Alan were so helpful and answered whatever questions I had. Great customer service and they did a wonderful job on my new roof. They also had an awesome selection for roof tiles. Would reccomend then over any other company in the area.

I had the roof on my rental property recently replaced due to wind damage. Allen (Ownerprovided me advice concerning the insurance claims process and it saved me over half of what I would have had to pay because they covered a portion of the replacement I did not think they would since it was a 30 yr plus roof. The other two roofing companies I contacted were going to charge me hundreds more and did not offer me that advice. Cal West Roofing crew was quick, neat and the finished product looks nice. I will hire him to renovate the same home in the future since they are also general contractors. I highly recommend Cal West Roofing for your home improvement projects.

As a Realtor Im always looking for quality Service Providers. Cal-West Roofing is the only roof company I call when it comes to any roof concerns I have. The level of service is by far the best. Most importantly they are honest and fair in business and price.

We had just bought our house and they did the roof inspection during our purchase. After we closed, we hired them to come out and perform the repairs listed on their inspection report (pull up the valley tiles and clean the valleys, replace some broken tiles, paint the roof vents, and clean the gutters). Everything about their work was not acceptable. I pulled into our driveway after work, got out, and noticed dirt and debris all over our driveway - nails included. Sure enough, I picked one up in my tire when I pulled in and had to have my flat fixed. All the debris from the roof was not cleaned, just blown to the edges of our patios and left there for me to clean up. The broken tiles were replaced with tile that is dark gray, our roof is light tan so now we have a few random dark gray tiles on our tan roof and it looks like trash. Then, the first rain comes and we’ve got waterfalls coming from our gutters. I got up there after things dried out and found 3” of muck, leaves, etc throughout the gutters. They didn’t even touch them. I would not recommend them for a thing, and will be notifying our realtor that they should look elsewhere for roofing inspections/services.

We had dry rot boards attached to the gutter and roof that were found during painting our house. Cal-West professionals were able to replace/fix the issue in a very short notice. Their excellent service in our house was outstanding.Thanks Cal-West for working on our house.

Thanks Al and your team of dedicated workers. needed to have some dry-rot repair and my patio roof replaced. Cal-West is the best in town! Each day they came they cleaned up the mess and you would have never been able to tell work was going on. not a spec of anything left behind in my pool, spa or surrounding work area. The team of workers are not only effecient, but kind and considerate. I will never use another roofer. This team is simply the very best!! Job well done.

Great employees. Work was as hoped for, but...Editing this review based on a conversation I had with the owner. Being lectured about cost of living with Cal-west roofing employees was the most bizarre and untactful thing you could say to a past customer. Because the job wasnt big enough?! Not enough $$?! Like glass. Like glass. Never again.I never once said anything about money.

Roof repair and gutter installation were done in a timely manner. I reported a small issue with the gutter installation and they responded quickly and took care of it. Nice people to deal with!

Came out almost immediately when I called. Analyzed the issue and repaired it in a timely manner. Took pictures and informed me of any changes and gave me plenty of maintenance tips to improve the life of my roof. Great job!

Most efficient company all around. Cost came in 1/2 of other companies. Their response time was the quickest from start to finish. The work was done with no inconvenience to us. The work was done well. You would never know they were here because clean up was immaculate.

WE were doing a refi on our house and had a pest inspection performed. We contacted cal-west for an estimate they set a date for the next day they showed up on time, we discussed the problems, they took photos and gave us a written estimate on the spot. At that time wee decided to go with them. the gentle man that had showed up and explained everything was very nice, polite and explained everything in detail to us. When the day came for the repairs to be done they crew showed up on time and cordial.I asked them if I had enough time to go to the store and return quickly they stated no problem they were gonna be here a while doing the repairs. To my surprise when I got back( i was only gone 30 minutesthey were packing there gear and stated they were done i couldnt believe it . they finished way before i figured they would be. I will definetely be keeping track of them for further work that will be needed this summer. they even advised me that there are some minor issues on my roof that can wait till later this coming year.

I manage several homes and always call calwest with any roofing issues. I recommend them to my friends and family.They are quick, responsive, polite, treat you with respect and the price is reasonable. Ive used their services twice now and will again for any future roofing needs.

Terrible we made an appt with them they didnt show up. Called them 3 times to reschedule never returned calls. Cant imagine the quality of their work.

Cal-west was vey quick to respond to my call. They checked out my roof and quickly sent me an estimate. I had very specific needs and they were quick to accommodate my roofing type and the color that matched my existing shingles.Al the owner wanted to make sure I was happy before installing the material. Professional work, I will not hesitate referring them to my friends.

Cal West responded quickly to my initial call and did quality work at a reasonable price. Our only suggestion would be to either call, text or email the night before or even the morning of to notify customer when workers will arrive. We are very happy with the results of repairs.

Had to call them back to fix most of the work they did. They didnt think that I would go up on the roof and check. Not only did they try and silicone broken tile back together but the ones they did replace where the wrong color. Save your money and go with someone else thats trustworthy.

Very satisfied with the outcome. I called the company to have a cracked tile replace, Rick showed up the next day and went up the roof and checked it all out. He came down and showed me all the pictures that he had taken of all the tiles that was cracked and needed to be replaced. He explained to me that I needed to have some re-caulking and replace metalastic tape at penetrations and metal edges. I also had him checked the eaves around the home for any rotting. He took pictures of all the dry rot he found and that needed to be fix, told me that he would email me an estimate the next morning. The next morning I received the estimate and gave him a call to do the job. Within three days they showed up and completed the work, clean up and hauled out all the debris. They did an excellent job and to put icing on the cake, Rick had the company give me a break on the bill after he found out I was a retired Vet. Thank for a job well done.👍

We noticed our roof was leaking on Monday night and called around to get quotes, we were told someone would be out by the end of the day on Tuesday. No one ever showed up or called us back to let us know they wouldnt be able to make it out. Gave them a call again on Wednesday morning, no answer and left a voicemail. Didnt hear back from them until Saturday morning. I feel as though they lacked urgency or the professionalism in conducting business. They may be do great work if you can ever get them to show up or even return a call. Very disappointed!

Ive owned Center State Roofing since the late 80s. Al Ford was the one back then that kept his customers happy and as far as i know never had to look to far for work. Great roofing company. They have a tile "bone yard" where you can get a few pieces of tile for roof repairs. Very nice people and helpful for finding the right piece of tile that you need. The owner "Al Ford" has been in business for 3 or 4 decades and is very knowledgeable in this trade and had reroofed thousands of homes for great prices. I would recommend his company to anyone looking for a new roof for their home or business. I believe that he also does flat roof installations. He employs several roofing crews and is able to do a high volume of work. Not just many houses at once, but also big jobs, like apartments and churches. He does not install gutters but he refers them to a reliable individual who will do a good job for the right price. His son also works for him running a crew and Al has a full office staff insuring great customer service. Offers a wide selection of composition roofing shingles and makes sure that each home reroofed meets all current building codes. From start to finish he makes the task of putting a new roof on your home seem quick allowing you to move onto your next project with the assurance that it was done right.

Still waiting for them to show up...I called the company the Wednesday before thanksgiving weekend. The guy told me that theyre busy but they might be able to get someone to check my roof, and if not then after the long weekend. They didnt show up and I called them on Monday after the thanksgiving weekend. The guy remembered talking to me on the phone and he explained that because of thanksgiving, they couldnt get to me. He then told me that someone will come check my roof the same day (monday). Its been two days since then and no one has showed up or contacted me. I could have called other roofers but I wanted to try cal-west because of their good reviews. Which makes me wonder how they got them since they dont show up or follow up.

Al Ford is straight forward, knowledgeable,and their service is the best around. I have been doing business with Al on my rentals and I refer him to my clients. Competitive and quality work and service to the max.

Cal West Roofing is a Blessing. They were out to give me a quote within a couple of days of calling. Very professional, I had the quote the following day of their checking the roof. They responded quickly to the repair and took pictures of the work. Price was very reasonable & repair was completed quickly.These folks also did our Shop roof in 2003, which is doing wonderfully. They are a great Company, very professional, courteous and just really good folk. Would recommend them if you need roof repair or inspections.
