Booked a self guided hunt with Chad and Gordon at Arkansas County Guide Service. Great communication the whole time. Plenty of birds around and we had a great time. We will be back!!

Been with these guys twice, should have learned on my first trip that these guys are not what you want. Waste of time and money.

Hunted with you in 2020 on a self guided hunt started thinking about booking another self guided trip today and though about my horrible experience with Arkansas county guide service. First had to drive 3.5 hours to check out the blind when the guy I was meeting just pointed at it and said there it was. Supposed to get 12 decoys with the blind there wasn’t any. Got to hunt the next day and the flooded field was basically a 4.5 ft deep catfish pond blind was full of trash and ducks would flare off the field as if it had been hunted everyday all season even thought we were told that it hadn’t been hunted but opening weekend very unprofessional people would not recommend wasting your money on a self guided hunt with them

Just wanted to take a minute to show my appreciation for this guide service. My buddies and I had made an 8 hour trip for a bust on opening day with a different guide. I called and spoke to Chad and at the last minute with short notice hooked me and my buddies up with a great time and made the whole trip worth while. Guides Mason and John Boy were also awesome with the whole experience. We will be back to Stuttgart and we will definitely be hunting with Arkansas County Guide Service, thanks for the good time boys

Great experience with Arkansas County Guide Service. Did a self guided hunt to close the season. Gordon met us at the hole and gave some pointers on what to expect given the conditions and what had been flying. We had a great day and awesome experience. The blind was in great condition for the last weekend, Chad and Gordon also went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. Will use them again!

First impression was very professional. As a business owner myself, communication and professionalism is key. I received a text or call back within 10 minutes. Blinds were brushed in very well. We opted for self guided. Gordon was on top of it. Dropped pins immediately. Met us at fields. Gave us options. Legit did what they could to make sure we were on birds. Fantastic group of first class folks.

We had an amazing time on a self guided hunt with these guys! Brought my German Shorthaired Pointer and hunted with 5 guys and a lab in a blind over flooded rice. Weather was not working for us, we dealt with frozen over rice fields, freezing cold temps, and struggled to keep our open water unfrozen.All that said, we were successful, still had tons of ducks work in and had we been better shots would have knocked em down! These guys were great to work with, easy to communicate with, and allowed us to hunt day and night! No hunters were placed on top of us and we had a beautiful farm to hunt all to ourselves.We will be back no doubt! Give these guys a ring, great prices, and good times.

Me and my buddy booked a self guided hunt for 2 days with these guys and had the time of our lives. Although we didnt limit out everyday, I still enjoyed my time in the pit. It had to be one my best experiences in Arkansas. I would totally recommend this guide Service to anyone who is looking to be guided or to just hunt with your buddies. Hell of a good group of guys. I will definitely be going back next year!!!

Just used there services January 18, 19, 20. First day was guided 2 days of unguided hunts. First day finally got a text from our guide at 7:45 pm. We arrived at the pin he dropped, then had to wait for 2 more people that we didnt know we were hunting with. Got to the blind to find some decoys sinking and a couple of full bodies floating upside down and Terribly faded decoys Didnt seem to bother the guide at all. The guide told us that it is usually a good blind that they hunt it almost everyday. His exact words. He told us usually hunts go until 11 but at 10:20 he said whenever you guys want to go that is fine. We hunted a blind Wednesday morning and saw 2 shovelers. Then a different blind Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning. All blinds had busted decoys, water bottles, and spent shells. Doesnt seem that anybody cares about garbage around there. I left the same review on there Facebook page but that apparently was taken down. Allyssa seems to be the only one that has it together. The guide was marginal at best and I cant even explain Gordon. I run a business taking care of customers is priority one no matter how busy you are. Last text I got from Gordon was Chads mom will come get your money. Never asked how hunting was or maybe even a thanks. Other issue I had was the lodging price but Allyssa explained it to me and all was good. Wednesday afternoon we did talk to one of the landowners that they lease from they gave us some pointers for next year which didnt include Arkansas County Guide Service. Would not recommend.

We had a wonderful hunt with Chads crew in mid-january and would recommend them to anyone. Even with tough birds feeling the pressure we managed to shoot a mixed bag of at least 8 different species over 3 morning hunts, and felt like the guides never stopped working to keep us on birds. The afternoon specklebelly hunts were a highlight and I highly recommend booking one as well. Chad has people scouting full time and access to many fields and keeps things where they need to be to get on birds.Absolutely would recommend them and would not hunt with anyone else. I will be back just as soon as I can manage it!Big thanks to everyone on Chads crew that made for such a memorable hunt.

Mr. Chad and his team made this a great weekend for us. Travelled from Auburn, Al to get a hunt in and they did not disappoint. Even in tough conditions we saw plenty of birds and had some great action! We will definitely be coming back!

I’ve been huntin with Chad for 4 years now self guided and every year is always a good time! Anyone who has anything bad to say about these guys or the work they do doesn’t have a clue on how huntin works! Me and the boy Kill’em in the ditch this week

I booked a self guided hunt with Arkansas County Guide Service for 5 days I wanted the last hunting trip with my father to be memorable since my father is handicap wheelchair bound its tough to find a guide service that is willing to accommodate his needs these guys went above an beyond to put us in blinds that my father could access they checked with me daily to see if there was anything they could do for my group I am a repeat customer an they will continue to get my business I highly recommend this guide service if you choose to do a self guided hunt dont show up with 2 dozen decoys because you wont pull the trigger birds wont even give you a look ive been hunting Arkansas for years you need a minimum 10 dozen decoys to even get a look in my experience the more decoys the better make it look like a refuge below are pictures attached from this hunt

I cant say enough about the kindness and professionalism they showed. Got to take my 80 year old father out with us. They had patience, and were so helpful with his mobility needs. With Mother nature aginst us (70 degrees in Decthey still had us on birds.. Cant wait to go back..

Great time with some great people. Shot a 14 man limit in about an hour and had a few snows come in to the set as well. Chad and his team are very professional and accommodate all needs for your group and put you on birds!!!

Hunted with fisher and Tyler two of the most professional and knowledgeable guides Ive ever hunted with 10/10 would recommend and definitely would return again . there guys are good people cant wait tell next time

This outfitter is legit . Nothing but good things for this place the guides and owner are amazing . The best people I have ever met been coming here for 2 years now and wouldn’t go anywhere else. If you have not hunted here then book your hunt now. You will not regret it .

We took the self guided service for 3 days . The first 2 days we got put on a dead blind . Only saw a handful of ducks the first 2 days. The 3rd day we got put on a blind used for guided hunts and there were plenty of ducks. So don’t take take the self guided because they will just place you on a dead blind since they won’t make as much money from you as they would from the “guided blinds “ . We paid $1,100.00 for 2 days of worthless duck hunting .

Weve used ACGS quite a few times the last 3 or 4 years and it has always been great. Weve done both guided and self guided hunts and have enjoyed all of them. Will be booking again soon for the upcoming season.

Horrible experience, we won a Trip for up to 6 hunters through a promotion that ACGS put out. When we arrived Chad Lloyd was no where to be found. 1st day was an unguided flooded field hunt. One of the guides took us to a field and pointed with a flashlight and said , the blinds out there should be decoys in it!..... Blind was half torn down, no decoys and when the sun came up the water was full of spent shotgun hulls. Saw one bird the entire day and it flared 100 yards out.Next day was supposed to be a guided flooded timber hunt. Got to the blind which was full of garbage and obscene graffiti (had my 9 year old with methe decoys were peeling paint some were half sunken and the mojos didnt work. The "guides" spent most of there time on their phones, we had to point out when birds were coming. At which point the guide would blast out a call that flared every bird. We finally shot a couple by NOT telling the guide that birds were working!!!Back at camp (still no sign of Chadwe decide to call it quits and head home a day early. The guides reaction to our disappointment was, " good I get to sleep in".When we were nearly 500 miles away Chad called me and offered a 1/2 unguided hunt to appease us for our disappointment. We declined. Later when I expressed our disappointment on Social Media, Chad threatened to Sue us for "damage to the screened porch caused by OUR DOG" .....WE DID NOT EVEN HAVE A DOG ON THE TRIP!I contacted the Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce to complain and they said Chad Lloyd and Ark Co Guide Service is NOT allowed membership and that they have recieved multiple complaints about them!I would strongly NOT recommend Ark Co Guide Service. Absolutely the Worst guiding experience of our lives......our crew was made up of 6 very experienced serious duck hunters. This outfit gives Outfitters a bad name!!

Been hunting for several years with ACGS. Both guided and self guided hunts. Chad and his team are top notch and I haven’t had anything but great experience every trip. You won’t find a better guide service in the area and they work hard to put you in the birds.

Came here opening weekend had a great experience with great communication with Chad and Gordon. Put us on a good blind and good field. Will definitely be back!

3rd year in a row coming to Arkansas County, top notch lodging with great atmosphere around camp. Chad and the rest of the guys have put in lots of work in the offseason and it shows when season is here. We have Killed lots of birds several times down. But they do call it hunting for a reason. We will definitely continue to come back.

The owner and his guides are all top notch guys who go above and beyond to make sure they’re clients are comfortable, have a good time, and taken care of. Guides get a bad rap for clients not killing birds, and these guys do everything within their power to put the clients on the X. I highly recommend giving them some thought when you’re considering coming to hunt in AR.

Guide lied to get us to come down and spent $1,100 to shoot two ducks.First morning there get in the blind and there is dead geese in the blind and on the water.For hunters day before us.Terriable experience won’t be doing business with them every again.
