Fry's Food And Drug in Yavapai County
Privilege
10/04/22 @ 11:36 am: Deli is ALWAYS understaffed. Not sure why this is the case in the last 12 months. 9 people in line currently. They are working some big order so only ONE other person is working the counter! Management needs to address. Loosing business.
MoreMy favorite grocery store to go to. Always clean, friendly staff.
I love my Frys! The people are so nice and they have lots of great brands there.
Awful service, pay top dollar and 8 out of 10 times they get your order WRONG!!!!
MoreFast and friendly service. Hard to move around at times.
Stopped in to buy donuts before my shift. They felt heavy but I work in healthcare and didn’t have to be picky but I took one bite and it was RAW in the middle. Won’t be buying from this bakery again
MoreI will not do business with a company that offers abortion bonuses. Individual choice is one thing. Sponsoring abortions is another
MoreVery rude staff- can’t even ask a simple question without getting attitude and eye rolls back.
MoreI had a fabulous experience today. I was looking for wide-mouth quart size pickling jars. I looked at the mason jars on the baking aisle, no luck. Over to the housewares, no luck. So I see a in-store Frys worker named Shannon, I asked her and showed her the example on display (which were the wide mouth quart size Kerr mason jars); not only did she stop doing what she was doing, she walked me to the baking aisle, found the empty shelf where the mason jars were supposed to be, then went to CS and radioed and asked when they will back in stock or are they in the back? She found out they come on tonight. I know this top notch, stellar employee is a keeper!!🌞See you tomorrow 😉Well today, another 5 star experience...Misael the Bakery Manager, I believe made sure my husband will get his triple cherry 🍒 pie fir fathers day. Another stellar employee. ✨️Almost everyday I interact with John from self-checkout...today I was blessed and lucky to see him at the full checkout today. One of the kindest most helpful workers in the store and always has a great disposition. 3rd stellar employees to brag about!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
MoreI will never shop at this store ever again. The staff is the snootiest, rude and so very unhelpful. The vendor sticking beer was more friendly and helpful. (Had a liquor question). This is the worst experience I have ever had in a Fry’s (Kroger’s). They even called the cops when we were eating before going in to shop.
MoreEasily the worst Frys I have ever been in. Every time I have been in this store the employees have either been nowhere to found when help was needed both myself and others, Ive helped out fellow customers more than Ive seen employees do it, or they have been borderline harassing and condescending. The behavior of this stores employees is absolutely abysmal and I am appalled that this is allowed to persist like it does.
MoreIt has come to meet my expectations of a Frys. A trusted source. A go to!Thank you Frys ....
MoreStopped in to grab some lunch meat to make sandwiches when we were visiting Prescott. Efficient staff. Seems well managed. Great for a small sized Frys.
MoreLove our Frys store. We usually can find what we need.
Praise to Paula C. who had a warm smile when I was rushing in after my work closed. I needed food and this was the only time I could go. I close and then open at my work. The store closes at 10 not 11pm. I was in and OUT fast by 9:33 and that was record fast. I had extra items in my arms because of a sale and I dropped an item. I asked the man working on the dairy section if he would pick it up and add it to my stack---again I was trying to go fast for the workers. He just said "you shoulda got a cart" and slammed it on top. I understand what its like to try to do tasks while people come in at closing. I go through that all the time and I am still nice. I could have just dropped everything right there and said "yes, Ill go get a cart" and delayed things even more. He didnt have to act nasty about it. There were people still arriving as I rushed out.The one thing that saved the experience was Paula smiling at me while she was working. It made a difference. I wish I had money to give her a tip. Thank you Paula!!
MoreEh. On multiple occasions food items rang up at higher than advertised prices (and no, had nothing to do with digital coupons - though the advertising for digital coupon pricing is confusing. On 2 occasions, the sales clerks response was that I was mistaken & I had to offer to go get the sign in front of product before they reluctantly agreed to send an employee to check sign. On both occasions, the sign supported what I said the advertised price was and the cashiers did not say, "Im sorry, Ill let mgt know the pricing was wrong." I suspect many customers were improperly charged more than advertised price.Employees are not terribly helpful nor polite. Guess Im spoiled by Publix grocers in Florida. Those employees are far more helpful & polite than Frys employees in Prescott Valley.
MoreVery understaffed. Every one having to use the self checkout with basketful of groceries. Noticed a few employees milling around pretending to be busy instead of actually manning a register. So I took a picture of the unmanned registers One employee, Lisa G approached me and threatened to get me in trouble if I post the video/picture to Facebook. Was not going to do that anyways. Was going to post the narrative. So, while she was busy yelling at me and threatening me, people are still lining up at the self check out and no employees manning the register. Disgraceful
MoreDo not use this pharmacy. They are consistently rude and INCREDIBLY slow. When trying to drop off a prescription to be filled they told my step-father repeatedly to go to the police department...rather than trying to talk with him and get a better understanding of what he was actually needing he was met with rude responses and still turned away. It took going through the drive through AND going inside for them to give him the time of day. One woman even had the audacity to tell him HE was being rude by trying to explain his situation when no one would listen. It also just took them almost a full 2 weeks to fill a prescription for an antibiotic that most pharmacies have on hand. I did not, COULD NOT, wait for them to decide to fill my prescription. After me calling in/standing in line 3 times and getting the same "Ill highlight it to be done ASAP" and my dentist (prescribing physiciancalling 2 times I ended up switching the prescription to another Frys pharmacy in the area who had it ready the same day. Ridiculous.
MoreTonight’s customer service clerk was extremely rude. I went to cash my scratcher around 9pm. And she rudely says I’m closed. Where is the friendly customer service fry’s always has. Disappointed in the rudeness. I work customer service and I understand the holidays are busy but treat people better then you want to be treated.
MoreI went to Fry’s pharmacy to get simple Sudafed. Went to prescription counter, as I couldn’t find on shelf. Associate said I needed to buy that behind counter. I did that and asked why I had to show id, as I have purchased Sudafed before and never had to do that. She was vague in explaining why. I purchased it there. When I got back to my car, I read the packageand realized it was the wrong high dose Sudafed. I immediately went back in the store and the pharmacist said I couldn’t return it, even though I had the receipt and just purchased it 10 minutes ago. He then took me to the shelf where the regular Sudafed was. I was not pleased with the service at all. It was not stated on the receipt, nor was I told it could not be returned.
MoreThe employees and management at this store are incredibly friendly and helpful. The Asian lady at Customer service seems overwhelmed and stressed at times and can be a bit ornery, but overall you get that friendly Arizona attitude and good service. As for food and accessories, this location has just about anything you could want. Prices are equivalent to most stores in the area however they do offer great sales quite often.
MoreDo NOT order a child’s cake from this store! We ordered a Moana cake for our granddaughters 4th birthday and the baker (large, youngish guyseemed to be hiding out somewhere at pick-up time. This should have been my first indication that something was wrong. The wonderful gentleman in the PRODUCE department bent over backwards to help me find the cake and when the baker finally showed up the cake had NO MOANA characters on it! If you have children....you KNOW that the cake is the most important part of the birthday party! After searching for 20 minutes for the Moana characters the lovely female bakery lady apologized that they did NOT have them and wrote n/c on my cake. In desperation, I called the Walmart bakery on Hwy 69 and they DID have a Moana cake topper for me. Walmart bakery saved the day. Word to the wise, get all your cakes at the Walmart Bakery up the road.
MoreMy favorite go-to grocery store! Friendly people. Great, nicely arranged fresh produce and vegetarian sections. Never a problem getting in or out quickly.👍
MoreNotice how the reviews are getting worse regarding Frys since Covid started? I have shopped this Frys for years but I am so disappointed that they don’t stand behind their mask mandate. I think they need a new manager. You wear a mask or you don’t come in… If Costco can do it, why not Frys. I think this store has gone downhill over the past few years and not following the CDC requirements for Covid is a big part of it. I will be driving a few more miles to find a different store. I doubt if Kroger corporate even reads these reviews, but it’s time they did.
MoreI have gone to this store for many years and have seen many changes. I go to this store only when we need something. We live very close to the store. If I have a choice I go early in morning only. The store was remodeled so that the aisle are very close together. Then the current management does not monitor the number of customers during busy hours, afternoons. THE ISSUE THEN IS AVOIDING CUSTOMERS WITHOUT MASKS. THERE IS NO WAY AVOID GETTING 6 FEET FROM THEM WITHOUT GOING TO THE NEXT AISLE. TO ME THIS A REFLECTION ON THE MANAGEMENT, THEN KROGER, OR IS IT MANAGEMENT, FOLLOWING CDC GUIDELINES.
MoreThis location does not require masks, please be aware!I came around noon on a Saturday and saw at least 7 shoppers throughout the store without masks. It made me feel very uneasy so I cut my trip short and got out as quick as I could. I would prefer to shop where I know workers and shoppers alike are being protected so I will take my business elsewhere from now on.
MoreThis is a very friendly and affordable grocery store. My parents came into town to visit and were very impressed with the selections that frys had to offer. You can really save some money with their gas point program as well. I use this grocery store for all kinds of different needs such as money orders to pay my rent, video rental from the Redbox, and it even has dry ice! Its close to home and very convenient for all sorts of needs.
MoreJohn in the deli department was amazing. I called with a Quick question and he was not in the correct department But he still walked all the way over to the eggs to check for me!!! It’s people like this that make our world such an amazing place
MoreThis is the best Frys ever! Everyone is always so helpful and kind. It’s always clean. And the Clicklist staff are AMAZING and SWEET! So thankful for this location and their hiring choices.
MoreFor the past 4 Saturday mornings despite the number of people in the store, there has been 1 checker open and no grocery bagger. The checker has to perform both duties and creates a long wait for customers. Totally unacceptable.
MoreBY FAR, the least expensive grocery store in the Prescott area. Always well stocked. Employees are super friendly and knowledgeable about the store. I honestlt dont see how Safeway can survive going head to head with Frys.
MoreI absolutely loved this store. Maybe a little to much. Their bread is sometimes still warm and delicious. Very nice store and well organized.
MoreGreat, clean store, friendly workers, huge variety, sometimes prices too high and I go to Walmart!
MoreNice store in looks. The corporation has made a mandate that 70% of the groceries must go through U-scan. That means check stands close as early as 6:00 in the evening, which is still peak time for a lot of shoppers. They have cut so many employees that help is nearly non-existent. Further, their CEO Rodney McMullen makes $10 million per year while Kroger will not pay grocery checkers over minimum to start. Capitalism is supposed to reward productivity. A grocery store checker can check thousands in groceries per hour. A McDonalds counter worker does a few hundred dollars per hour. Yet they both work for minimum at starting! They also substitute inferior second rate store brands for quality products. If we all have to work for free for Rodney then maybe we should go to another store. Walmart may have self check, but they also will check your groceries for you. There is also Sprouts, Safeway and Costco available to replace this poorly run outfit.
MoreThis is a nice, large, and clean store with a great selection of items. I dont shop here very often, but I am not entirely impressed with the prices. Also, the other location on Fair St. has a better selection of bulk foods (although it is smaller and I feel it can be mind of a chaotic mess).
MoreCustomer service was amazing didnt get looks like Im dumb when I asked where thing were
MoreThe nicest Frys around! Very clean, tons of parking. The store is massive. Has self checkout. Favorite part is all the organic selections and healthy food isles they have. They have really uped their game when it comes to organics and non gmo options. Also, their fuel center usually is the cheapest on town plu, if you have fuel points you can knock off another 10 or more cents! Best grocery store here in Prescott. Thanks and God bless.
MoreThe deli guy was great. Drop what he was doing to wait on a customer. Not something that lady ever does. He was quick and did not chit chat was other employees slowing down service like that grumpy lady does.
MoreIts good place to shop they have everything that I looking for my groceries I highly recommended the girl in the meat department Sensational service
MoreSo clean and room to move down the aisles unlike Safeway. Even the restroom is soo clean!! I think Ill continue to make the almost 20 mi drive to shop there
MoreLove Frys! As both an employee and customer! Prices are great, people are great! Service is great! I could make a whole list of why this store is great, but Ill just leave that for you to decide...
MoreIts one of the best grocery stores in Prescott. Its clean, easy enough to find your way around, and some employees are quite helpful. Theyve newly rearrange the last few rows where the chips & drinks used to be. It can be pretty crowded on a Saturday afternoon.
MoreI like the prices and selections. They have great coupons and discounts on gas. Its also a very clean store.
MoreNormally I fill my perscription at Frys in PV but they were out of stock on one of my meds so they went above and beyond to contact the Frys in Prescott and I drove over there barely made it before closing and the staff went out of their way to help me and fill my medicine right before closing. Staff was extremely nice. Store was clean, organized and convenient. I will definitely return here! 👍👍👍
MoreBest prices in town. Not my favorite to search for meat though. Good deals, yeti have had issues with their meat selection. Great store for everything else though.
MoreThe store is fine. For me it takes a little getting used to since their recent upgrade. But like most humans we learn to compensate. Otherwise Frys is my go to store, but consider I dont have to drive far to get there.
MoreGreat selection, helpful staff. I prefer Frys over Safeway for value in general but I find this location easier to navigate than its sister location in PV. If my errands bring me this way, this is my stop for groceries from now on.
MoreOut of towner here. Visit during holdiays. Helpful staff and large store.
Frys is our store of choice for grocery. My husband is a deal hunter and he always finds something he really wants at a good price. He especially loves the Simple Truth brand milk. Even now as I right hes preparing to make a Frys run because he ran out of milk.
MoreI was getting groceries today (Thursday 5/5), and it was incredibly slow service at the deli today. This has also been an issue for me in the past as well. You need more employees working the deli !!! Will begin doing deli purchases somewhere else. Too bad, because I do like some of your deli products, but the slow service frustrates me.
