The best Physical Therapist around! Tom had to work on a frozen shoulder, from a fall on the ice last January. Next month, February rolls around and I sprained my right knee. Now let’s not forget to mention my toe surgery followed by vertigo! What a mess was I! Tom put me back together and I will be forever grateful for his knowledge and techniques that gave me back my body. He worked on my shoulder, knee, toe, and vertigo. All the staff is Great! This is the best therapy center I have ever been too. They are kind and caring, that includes everyone in the office. Tom fixed my vertigo after struggling for weeks and he answered texts and calls no matter the time of day. He really wanted to help me feel better. Tom kolacki is a master at his craft. I needed vestibular therapy for ear/brain surgery and not many know to much about this particular therapy. He was patient, encouraging, and extremely knowledgeable. I have recommended him to my sister and family members that have the same disease I had and may have the same operation. Cant say enough about him and his wife. Fantastic energy here. I was depressed coming in and didnt see an end to my situation but now Im going back to work and confident all will be just fine. Don’t let the wonky spelling of the business name deter you, they know what they’re doing. I’ve spent months improving my balance because I have mild Cerebral Palsy and my treatments with Tom have done wonders. I started with walking in the harness across the room to doing an entire lap around the building in under a year.

I highly recommend Fyzical Oaklawn. Tom, Mona and the staff were welcoming and attentive. A total knee replacement is not a piece of cake! The rigorous therapy helped me regain flexibility and strength. If you’re looking for a warm and caring environment with positive vibes, then this is the place for you!

They are fantastic. Four years ago George helped me with my dizziness (hospitalized twice, and then I found George). Last year Tom saw me walk and told me I should not have to endure the pain. After going through physical therapy with Tom , I can now walk without pain. I can’t believe it! Tom is now working on my neck and upper back, and I can now drive without pain. Just sharing my great experience and results I have received from Fyzical and Jessica who is providing my therapy. I arrived December 30th with really bad Plantar Fasciitis on both feet and here we are 4 weeks later and I am nearly pain free. Never thought I would be almost pain free this quickly but Jessica has worked her magic.Also, the time I have spent there, I can tell how great the team there is and how caring they are for those receiving treatment.

I was receiving therapy for right shoulder immobility and pain in the town where I live. I was traveling back to Chicago for a week and didnt want to miss my therapy sessions. I was told that I could go to a Fyzical location in Chicago so I was lucky enough to find George and Tom. Tom told it to me straight that I would not regain the range of motion in my shoulder unless he pushed it beyond the point of my pain and mobility. He spent all 3 sessions I had with him working on my range of motion and it catapulted my recovery. The other PT place I was working with would only spend 5-10 minutes every other session manipulating my shoulder. Tom went so far as to get in touch with the PT office in my home town and share his therapy plan with them. While they never did step up to what Tom was doing I noticed a difference in my treatment plan. What Tom also told me was that I did not have to worry about injuring my shoulder more by pushing it beyond the pain I could tolerate and that my husband could do the therapies at home for me. This gave me so much more confidence in the exercises I was doing on my own. I am back doing my regular workouts and my strength is returning to what it was before I injured it. I felt that Tom and George really cared about my recovery and I so appreciate that. I highly recommend them! They are also stellar human beings.

The environment and care provided at Fyzical Therapy is unlike any other place! From the first phone call to set up my initial appointment, throughout all of my sessions, every staff member was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and provided personalized care. I am thankful for Tom and the rest of the Fyzical Therapy team for helping me regain strength to resume my daily activities pain free after my knee surgery.

I have gone to fyzical therapy in oak lawn over the years for several reasons . I injured my right shoulder with a fall. Tom did wonders with my rotator cuff so I didn’t need surgery four months of therapy and I’m able to do it all Tom is a excellent therapist. This fall I hurt my back and started therapy with George after 6 weeks of therapy I did great George did wonders with me I’m back swimming and was able to go on my trip to Disney world . The office is extremely professional and a joy to be there. I love this place and it’s like such a great experience . I’ve gone other places this is the best . Thanks Tom and George pat konecki

George was awesome! He was able to improve my vertigo issues through several different exercises. He was so encouraging and had a wonderful sense of humor. He definitely made physical therapy a positive experience.

Second time here, neck/shoulder last year and knee this year. Staff is super friendly, professional, and the office is very clean. Tom was my therapist both times and he was awesome! He corrected both problems, eliminated my pain, and helped me return the range of motion to both joints. Finished my knee therapy yesterday, and couldnt be happier with the results!

I have been dealing with positional vertigo for over 2 years. In one hour, George Cachares reversed my vertigo. I am so happy that I came to Fyzical.

I have tried other physical therapy places but none seem to compare with the progress Ihave made in such a short time at Fyzical Therapy. I just started going to them in May and since that time I have been able to walk around with just a cane whereas Ihad been using a walker for a year and a half. The dedication that George and Tom showed and the time spent on my issues were by far the best physical therapy I have had. Because of their diligence I was able to go to a mall and walk around  for the first time in a year and a half.  Even the priest from my church commented on the fact that I was walking better. I have come to FYZICAL for many years. I had surgery to remove an acoustic neuroma which upon waking from surgery I had vertigo. George treated me for my spinning and helped me to walk straight again and more importantly, get back up on my horse and ride, run and bike. I have also had a lot of neck pain and migraines from the surgery and received much relief by coming to therapy. They truly are compassionate, caring and understanding. With the time they spend with their patients they get to know them better than any 5 minute doctor visit. Whenever I have something bothering me (balance, shoulder or neck pain, stiffness, etcI go straight to FYZICAL! They are awesome. :)

I was very pleased with the service I received from here. When I first started I had very limited movement in my left foot. I had broken my ankle in two spots. Tom got me moving, and gave me exercises to do at home. I now have full range of motion, and can walk and do stairs with no problem. Everyone there was friendly and very supportive.

Fyzical in Oak Lawn is "tops" when it comes to therapy! I recently had rotator cuff surgery for many complications I had experienced with my shoulder. I chose to go to Fyzical for my post surgery therapy because my wife and I had been there before and were extremely pleased with the Staff. I had no trouble getting appointments made on days and times that were convenient for me. Tom was my main therapist, but there were a couple times that George was the PT for me. They were both excellent. They really care about each patient they work with. They are very thorough and certainly knowledgeable of what is needed for you. Everyones situations are different and they take the time to listen, and help you improve. They make sure you are there to achieve your goals. They really encourage you to do your best and "keep up" with getting better each day! During this "Covid Pandemic," I felt safe in their building. Everyone worked so hard to make sure areas were sanitized before, during, and after your session. The entire Staff always kept everything neat and clean at all times. I highly recommend Fyzical in Oak Lawn. It is an "asset" to our Village.

I came to Fyzical Therapy to work on a back issue that had been bothering me for a good 6 months. After visiting an orthopedic doctor and being recommended I do physical therapy to strengthen my core/ back I found myself at Fyzical therapy in Oak Lawn and couldnt be more satisfied with my experience. Tom my physical therapist was outstanding. He explained everything to me in a way I could understand it and answered all of my questions regarding the types of exercises I was to do and their purpose. The environment is super welcoming, the people there are nice and friendly, and easy to work with. After 5-6 visits my back pain almost completely disappeared. Highly recommend this outstanding facility!

As an avid cyclist I began to struggle with knee pain and after trying to work through it I decided to visit a professional. Stopping in to see Tom for an assessment was the best decision I made. He ran through some initial checks to see my mobility what I was struggling with. He identified the issues and had me doing exercises and stretches within the hour! After three weeks of sessions with Tom I am happy to say I am back on the bike riding 150+ miles a week pain free. I recently had hip replacement and needed therapy close to home. My in-home therapist recommended Fyzical Therapy and Balance in Oak Lawn. From my first visit I knew the choice couldnt have been better. Starting with the front desk (Monato my therapist (Georgeeveryone worked to make my therapy the best to get me better. I highly recommend Fyzical Therapy and Balance and I know I would definitely use them again if needed.

Absolutely the best physical therapy you will receive!! I can not say enough about them. Long story short...L5/S1 disc herniation, had surgery and rec’d therapy elsewhere. Still had so much leg pain and immobility. Thought that this was how I was going to remain. Went to my primary physician and he suggested Tom and George. Was best thing I ever did. Without Tom I would not be able to move the way I can. Had a relapse of muscle tightness to the point that I would cry, sciatic pain and pain around surgical site. I could not get in to my back doctor and called Tom. Went back into therapy and he has taken away my muscle cramps, sciatic pain and given me so much more mobility. You will not be sorry that you chose them. Staff is amazing. Every one is so friendly and helpful. Facility is immaculate.

I couldn’t of found a better place to go for my physical therapy. George and his staff are excellent people. George explains everything along the way. These days it’s so hard to find good doctors & therapist etc.I would highly recommend you going here. Believe me you will not be disappointed. If I could give a 10 star I would.
