Ive shopped at this store in other French cities and found them a little pricey but good quality. This time, I am very aware of the financial pressures affecting everyone, and although I went into the properties on 3 or 4 occasions recently, I found the "department store prices" just too high, and I never bought anything. The greatest irony for me, was having to almost step over beggars in the street, and perhaps it would have felt a bit guilty to pay the prices requested for goods which dont feel worth it right now!

Female department slightly dated. Mens better.

No air-conditioning. Are they serious? It is 38 degrees outside how is someone supported to try on clothes? Also mostly tourists. French people chose other shops.

Some outstanding reductions in the sale and as usual staff provided first class service.12 July 2022 - less help and advice on offer this morning although it is extremely warm today. It must be difficult to maintain verve and enthusiasm at full strength in the heat.

Very good clothing selection for Men, and during sales the prices get very affordable for very high quality materials.

Buying a luxury item, salesperson cant take cash, asked to go to cashier, no problem, 25 people in que buying socks! Come on Lafayette, Bordeaux is crammed, pop outside and open your eyes. You need staff or better processes. My luxury item is no more. Thanks for spoiling.

We have been in the store for man. Ground level: the staff was very unfriendly to be honest more or less rude, especially in the back. The upper floors better. The Lacoste shop nice.

We went to the galleries and we are very disappointed by the services. At the underwear area, there was four people to help which we crossed several time but none say high neither proposed to asssit us even though we were looking around for 15 min. Same for the clothing area, no one came to assist or proposed to find the right size. So we finally ended up to buy in their own brand shop in the city..And finally, I must say that the building is getting old and that it doesn’t feel very comfortable.

It isnt busy on a sunday. Many different brands and female clothing options. As well as home stuff.

I strongly do not advise to go to Louis Pion inside the gallery ! They are not nice and try to sell broken watches to tourists !!!

A nice shop on the pedestrian street of Rue Sainte Catherine in Bordeaux, with multiple levels. Very chic, but not as historic as the Lafayette in Paris but definitely a chic store in Bordeaux.

I always have a pleasureable shopping expirience in this shop until today. Girl working at the Pandora stand was rude, tried to sell damaged product and shouldnt work there with her attitude. 11 oclock 04/08/2020

Variety is good... prices vary from medium to every high... staff very friendly and helpfulBut it was very hot inside the shop to the extent I had to leave without buying anything

This is just a glorious representation of highbrow shopping experience in Bordeaux. The two main stores dominate this corner, one frontage to Rue Sainte-Catherine and the other inside Rue de la Porte Dijeaux. I went to the menswear section on the ground floor and upon entering I was greeted by the staffs with genuine and welcoming smile. Very well setup, exquisitely arranged according to brand and they were on sales. Absolutely high class services and consistent with all my experiences with Galeries Lafayette! Beautiful decor with stunning ambience. Its what I expected of Galeries Lafayette and never disappointed.

If you find yourself on the Catharine, this branch is set out similarly to the ones in Strasbourg and other large cities. Always my go-to.

Intending to make some purchases there I needed to use washroom facilities first for which there was a charge . I took ALL my business elsewhere!

Not for 3XL guys...no size of jeans above 40...find my way at Eden park bd de lintendance ....staff are amazing pros...

Old school departments store, i remember the days when a trip to France wasnt complete without a visit to "Galeries Lafayette", today its just another department store, if you like the genera the youll like it.

Don’t expect American service where tons of sales person attack you :and that’s the best part! Super friendly and helpful staff.

A typical Lafayette - they have seperate stores for Men n Women too - Almost all brands available here , a classic shoppers must visit/browse/window shop store, not as large as the Paris one, but sufficient for sure.

I hate shopping but was dragged here because I need a new coat. That said no one seems to have my size and I also object to buying high priced branded goods.Galleries Lafayette has most of the brands, the staff were attentive, very friendly once chatting or watched me closely because in my jeans I looked like a security risk.

As all the galeries Lafayette. Big with lots of brands, few floors, nice staff. Located in the saint Catherine big pedestrian street. Just missed places to seat when your partner did not finish his shopping

A lovely shop with helpful staff but on taking some clothing to the till we were informed that, despite a 40% reduction on the price ticket, the sale did not start for another couple of days so we had to pay full price! In England that would not have been legal, as the item has to be sold at the marked price. Charging full price is not good practice.

Excellent place to shop all the fashion goods, makeup and personal care products, bit expensive but good collection, for kids aswell.

I liked it a lot , but to bad it was super pricey.If you have the money to burn ,then yes it is an awesome place but since a shirt was still around 50€ during the sales then i would steer clear from this place.

Horrible! They really don t know how to deal with the clients! If you have a problem with your product you will pass through hell. They are not smiling or wishing you a good day! One of the cashiers made my bill wrong putting the wrong reduction ( 20% instead of 30%), when i was there the next day to get my money back THE MANAGER didnt even know the product,price or how to deal with the problem! She did not trust me that the reduction was 30% even if the product has a label! I had to prove her by showing her the website price!!! They gave me a bill of the refund but I still did not get my money in the account!!!!! Although, they sell the glasses with defects! I bought a 400euros sunglass with a scratch, indeed i did not check until i got home the product. They didnt want to change the product. Worst shopping mall I have ever been to! They have a lot to learn from Harrods. So disappointed! I will never buy anything from them! I regret that I spent money there! Be aware.

I love this store but I felt like it didnt have quite the options of my regular store and the displays a bit less cohesive but still many beautiful things to enjoy
