MoreI really use to love coming here. But today the short black girl decided to get loud with me in front of customers!!!! I usually do all my gaming business at this location.... But after the way she spoke to me this morning I will not. I did not deserve the disrespect she decided to hand out for breakfast this morning. With the holidays upon us, you might wanna send her to a customer service class. Not everyone is going to just walk out like it did. The public does not deserve this kind of person working gamestop. Especially during Christmas

MoreYall need a Lashae in every store!Its nice being an owner of multiple units and walking into a GameStop store and being able to discuss every single platform for multiple age groups and gameplays. I typically would have just spent too much time trying to research and find the games. I will definitely be back soon!
MoreWas told I couldn’t get refund for a protection plan I didn’t use and was sold a game console that overheated first try. Was told that it was supposed to sound like a plane. Absolutely ridiculous I will never give this game stop my money!! Horrible customer service!!

MoreOrdered a game online. Got an email an hour later saying my order had been cancelled. Drove out to store from 20 minutes away, and just grabbed the game off the shelf. Most likely no one even looked at the order, or if they did, didnt bother looking on the shelf.

I love this game stop the service is awesome. The staff is knowledgeable the assistant manager. She worked to help me for two months to find a item because a store didnt send it on time then it got flooded by a hurricain. I love these staff they are like family. If you need a great game stop you need to go to this one. The management here is amazing the assistant manager Alyssa and Bryan the manager are so friendly and knowledgeable. I will never go to any game stop except here. This store looks so neat and well put if your not coming to this store you are missing out. The area manager of this store should be so proud if the service this management team gives.
MoreWent in this evening for a bunch of pre-owned games. Decent selection and prices. Went to pay and the guy behind the counter rings me out and charged me full price for one of the pre-owned titles. Of course, I dont realize this until Im home and looking over the receipt again. I drive back to the store, wait about 15 minutes while the guy behind the counter patiently took care of an Xbox One S serial number issue for another customer. After taking care of another customer he got to me and I briefly and politely explained the situation. He quickly glanced at the receipt and handed me $2 and some change in cash. No new receipt. No offer to place the amount back on my credit card. No barcode scanning of the item in question. He quickly went on to to take care of the next person in line when I said "sorry to hold you up but the difference between the full and pre-owned price is actually about $8. In a huff and apparently even further inconvenienced by HIS own mistake that made me come back and stand in line to get even more lackluster customer service, he scanned the barcode on the game and pulled out $10 and change and handed it to me with a new receipt claiming he looked at the wrong title earlier when calculating the overcharged amount/refund. After I waited in line for 15 minutes behind 2 other people to get his and the stores mistake corrected, the least he could have done is say "Im sorry". His mistake wasnt my fault, it was his or the fault of whatever process at the store resulted in the error. I would have liked to have been offered the refund back to my card or an explanation of why he could only give me cash. All in all, *Im* sorry for inconveniencing the staff member on duty today and patronizing, with my hard earned money, an establishment that sets the bar quite low as far as customer service and satisfaction. Id rather go across the street to the big chain mart or a few miles to the blue and yellow electronics store and pay full price or even go online than come back here and experience more of the same. Good job, GameStop 👍

MoreI went to this GameStop today to trade in a game. Before I traded in the game I vented to the man that work there I think his name is Justin. He listened to my venting about another GameStop we won’t talk about😒... Justin and his manager both helped me out when they really didn’t need to, I appreciate that so much, I’m a customer for life there🤙🏾
MoreI told someone that there was a mimikyu plushie at this GameStop, but then I bought it and the same person went later and they got mad at me because I bought the plushie.Overall its good and a reliable source to get stuff.
MoreThis location has the worst service. I went in on a Saturday to pick up a game and waited 25 mins without so much as a greeting. Another employee came in with food and disappeared to the back and after waiting another 10 mins, I and 3 others walked out.

MoreI have been here multiple times and while they may be busy, at least someone is on the floor talking to us and making sure that our games are ready to go when we get to the register. Very friendly staff, and very accommodating.

MoreI use to like coming to this shop, but the last three times I have been in, the customer service has been terrible! I have been trying to order a peripheral and I gave my name and phone number to the guy, never heard anything back. I went in asked if they can have it shipped in from another store, was told they were too busy to do that, to come back tomorrow to do that. Great way to keep business.
MoreI am not sure who owns this game stop on newbern ave but u really need to reevaluate your business, the lines are always long, whats the use of having multiple register if only one is ever in use. There are four employees in the, store and only one register working, are they trained to cash out customers, I will never go there again, I will go to Walmart and they suck worst but at least they are a ten thousand square feet store, your store is 400 sq feet

MoreThis has to be one of the WORST Game Stops Ive ever been to. I go in there on a weekday to try to get a new game. I wait in line, which only had 3 people in it, thinking it would only take about 5-10 minutes. Turns out there is only one person working there! There was one family in the very front of the line trying to trade in an Xbox One for the new Xbox One Fallout Edition. We waited for 1 hour in line when it didnt even move at all. We just got up, like most of the other people, and left. One of the worst expirences at a GameStop ever. I will never go back to this GameStop ever again.
Morethis experience was awful, I usually get great service. I sat in line for 30 minutes while three inconsiderate customers sat there talking with the cashier, while this was taking place the other incompetent worker took 25 minutes to service an old man who had no idea what he was doing. then after a painful 30 minutes the lady says that they dont have the game I pre-ordered. so i ended up waiting for two very incompetent workers that were slow, uninformed, and uninterested.
MoreStaff is awesome! The only complaint is, I hate how they will buy a game from you for 15 dollars then turn around and sell it for 50 to 55 dollars. I understand they have to make money, but that margin of profit for them is just too high.
