Will.... Manager on duty???...gave me false information on my 1200 pickup told me it wasnt there and to go to another store refused to allow me to talk or explained then ealked away dissrespectful....grandaughter 17, who was with me said age ...Neena why is he so mean and dissrespectful..I said he us a unhappy manager.I shopped at this big lots for 3 years Ive stopped there the last year and a 1/2 due to staff giving misinformation being unkind and unwilling the last person that was kind and helpful was Heather 2019 so if shes still there kudos as well as Victor kudos kudos the newer employees just seem to not care. Not helpfully to customers. Not willing to help let alone go above and beyond. Refusing to leave finally...... Oscar found my items and I was off to my home with my new couch which is defective. Overall quality is cheaply made I guess 1200 is cheap now and days .....Wake Forest MOD.... is awesome i will drive there to shop I love Big Lots dislike this location (Garner)and there care to not help customers
Not the greatest. Not the worse. Got a couple things I needed at an okay price.
Very rude furniture guy. He obviously didnt want to be there. Attitude when he needed to bring a piece of furniture from the warehouse to the curb. Hid the fact that the box was broken dropped off the box next to me and the car at the curb did not say a word and did not help get it in the car. I understand bad days but it should not jeopardize good customer service and his was awful.
Didnt have what we were looking for but the staff were really nice
Big lots is the best store to shop at now. I have the best prices and a very good selection. Very large selection of furniture!
This has always been my favorite big lots store, looks great since the remodel. I was in the other day looking at furniture. An associate walked by and I asked for help with the credit process. He told me that he did not know the process and walked away. Another associate came along and helped me. The process was simple and easy. My issues comes about when I see the first associate again and learn that he is the store manager Chad. He is very unfriendly and doesnt seem to know what he is doing. His customer service is lacking. Once again he walked away from me, Im not a confertational person so I let it pass.When I get to the register they needed a manager. And he did not come out of the office after several times the other associate asked him at the register. To say the least I did not go through after approval on the furniture. If the store manager will not come speak to me and listen to my concerns after I have been a loyal customer to this location for years I will not be back. And its a shame, all the other employees looked embarrassed by the situation so I did not press the issue anymore. Let him sit in his office and do whatever he does. Ashley home store will get my business now! I dont like making a scene so I voiced my opinion on here.
You can find some nice household items ln this store. I like shopping here.
I remember when big lots used to be considered a discount store. Now all it is, is a place you get discount junky items way overpriced. I wasnt impressed with their prices at all.
The customer service is the worst Ive ever experienced at any area Big Lots. The bathrooms are filthy. Whats worse is that nobody at the location cares. I went to pick up an online furniture order and received nothing but attitude. When you give it back, though, thats a problem. Unless I cant get what I want somewhere else, I have no plans of returning.
Good place to go for people on a budget and find things not at other places.
I only shop at big lots for the seasonal decor. Great prices and cute choices! But yes, it definitely adds up! Would recommend going to multiple locations because they tend to all carry different stuff with maybe a few similarities!
They always have what Im looking for. Their end-of-season sales are great!
Their prices are getting ridiculous especially in the bed in section I used to shop here a lot because they had great deals and now they have gotten rid of a lot of things I did like to come in for its basically become and mini grocery store Furniture Store home item store it doesnt have a large selection of other things that used to have but the prices have been jacked up it seems we are independent make and a lot of people are not employed nor receiving unemployment I think its only fair to consider your surroundings when pricing
Whoever was working in the furniture department on 8/14 at 8pm was extremely rude on the phone. Horrible customer service.
The men that work there are always friendly the women not so much. Glad they remodeled the store..
Whoever the lady is that was working the night shift here on Tuesday June 22nd at around 8 pm, should not be answering the phone - or her buddy behind the register with her. Let someone else do it. And not only that, but the lady who answered told a bold faced lie because she didn’t want to go double check if they had a sofa in stock. They do. It said there was one available online - and no it’s not the floor model. I purchased a sofa from another big lots that also had one available online. And after doing so, it reflected on the website that they no longer had any available - because I bought it. So no it wasn’t the floor model they had and I was calling to ask if they could put a hold tag on the sofa for me to come pick up next business day same as the other BigLots. Trash attitudes. And lazy obviously.
I went to Big lots with a friend to get a mattress. The associate that helped us was very good. The mattress was well priced and Great Quality!!!
I love the fact.. I. Can order online and then come to the store.Then someone bring my things to the car.
Oscar was outstanding. He did everything to make sure I got the sectional that I wanted. I highly recommend this store.
Amazing customer service. The employees where very helpful and attentive. The store is small but clean and organized. Manager was very nice and made sure we got all the information we needed for a mattress they did not have in stock. But called another store for us to pickup. Thanks for the good customer service experience!
The store was kind of empty of merchandise. I bought my wife a calorie counting watch and we could clearly tell it was previously worn.
The staff was extremely kind, courteous and helpful. Unfortunately, I didnt find what I was looking for, however, I found a lot of other things that I needed instead!
I love coming here. They have the best wash cloths thick for a $1 I got 10 & came back & got 10 more they feel so good on my face.
The ladies that work in the furniture department are really nice. . The best customer service Ive ever had. If this place was closer to me. I would shop here every day just because of there positive moods.

I was able to find winter coats for a reasonable price at this time of year. Checkout was quick and sanitary.
So if it wasnt for the the district manager (Oscaror the manager (Heatherapologizing and stating discipline would be taken on the behalf of one very rude employee I would have given 1 star.My experience with this big lots was very short but enough to get corporate involved. I go into big lots looking to purchase Im sure over $1k worth of furniture (bed, couch, mattress, etcI needed full prices after taxes so I could prepare what Im spending.I ask the first employee I see if she is working that area, which she wasnt, and she asked me what I needed help with. I tell her I would like to know the prices on a couple of things, she responds with if you look beside the product theres a blue tag that will already tell you, i proceed to tell her I would like to know prices after taxes and possibly purchase furniture. Her response to that was "do you not know how to do your taxes? Dont you have that mess on your phone that will tell you all that, boy you young people. Ill call someone to help you." The ladys name was Irene.She calls but after what she said, my mind was made, I took my business elsewhere. Heather and Oscars response was what was expected and greatly appreciated but I cant give no more than two stars because customer and employee engagement needs to be a top priority in a business such as this. (She needs better training.)
You do have to look for certain items (they dont have everything), but the items they do have are great! They even have gluten-free items...some of them are pretty good!
Always something new to discover throughout the year and prices are usually reasonable. I am never bored in this store. There is a serious gravitational pull between me and Big Lots...dare I name it an addiction. Lordy have Mercy.
I purchased a fire place at this location needless to say it had to be returned the next day. I was advised it would be in a box to find out after I purchased it they were giving me the display one. Once I brought it home which was not what I wanted it did not work properly. Now I had to bring it back to get bad customer service while trying to return it. No one but the cashier wanted to help get it unloaded and bring back in store. I would rather travel all the way to Knightdale where all there employees are very nice and helpful. I would recommend the Knightdale store to anyone.
Irene, Carla, and a young gentleman on the floor who helped us w an office chair gave us great customer service at closing on Christmas Eve. Thank you very much.
Came to buy a couch. The salesman a young african man. Think his name is lewis. He was very lazy, did not want to bring out the couch. Gave an attitude. If he keeps this up in life he is not going to get anywhere
We have been coming to this location for years. My husband and I love the customer service from Will. We met him in furniture when we bought our couch for our first home, and he was so helpful. Ever since that experience we make sure to come say hi to Will and he always offers his assistant even though we didn’t need it at the moment. Employees like that should be recognized. Keep up the good work Will.
Clean and organized. Staff isnt always helpful but the store is always stocked which helps in looking for items for yourself.
They have some of the nastiest store associates in furniture. They lied about calling another store for am item we wanted. We went all the way to the store and they said nobody had contacted them. They need some training
Fantastic store with a great layout. Decent bargains, wide selection of household, grocery, and seasonal items. Friendly staff and clean store. Plenty of parking and easy access.
I love thia store and the fantastic deals here. Store is not organized very well and could prove problematic for people who dont enjoy the hunt.

All I can say is we bought a big ticket item, one or 2 screws werent threaded. We called the store and she exchanged it for a new one. Just wanted to say she was very nice and went above and beyond to help us!
I found a cute dining set at the Big Lots where I live. Unfortunately they were out of stock. I went to the one in Garner, and they too were out of stock, but Ricky the guy that works in the furniture dept did not give up until he found a store that had them in stock. He made my day! Thank you Rick for the exceptional customer service you provided!
I like the store but the furniture is super cheaply made. The headboards are flimsy and the fake leather chairs peels very easily.
This store is a sleeper to most but not too me, great service friendly employees whos ready to assist. The prices are great and the furniture selections are quite impressive. Great stop for snacks and basic house hold needs. For the price of what you need I dont think youd be disappointed stopping by this location.
Heather and Matt helped us apply for furniture leasing and even stayed past store hours to insure that we were EXTREMELY happy with our decisions! They made buying from big lots a very easy, and very pleasant experience.!!! I will be doing all of my shopping at this location and I encourage others to do so .

Can find some great deals here but still have to watch the prices. It is very clean in the store but bathrooms are not good.
Great selection but the young guy working at the furniture counter acted like we were bothering him and then got agitated when he made a mistake. We bought a couch and he rolled out on a cart, then stood there and watched while my wife and I struggled to load it by ourselves.
This store is out of the way. Most times very few customers. Never a problem to find a place to park. At one time their where many other stores in this plaza. They are all closed. Big Lots Prices are reasonable!.
