You want me to share my experience of this establishment? I could have sworn I wrote a review before but maybe somebody deleted it cause they were salty. This is for the Mahowningtown one. One word could describe my experience at this place. Terrible, I ordered one pizza went to get it with a few drinks and a bag of chips, get to the counter and ask the Gentleman for my pizza, he begins yelling at me over a receipt. Idk if he was having a bad day at the time but I just wanted my Pizza. You lost me as a customer then and forever more.

Very good. I make it a point to stop when Im in New Castle.

My go to place when Im nearby even occasionally the hour drive just to purchase items for game days or for the weekend.

People are ALWAYS friendly, and the food is good. The price is a bit high but its all handmade. And when you want it warmed up, they put it in the oven and not the microwave. Theres also a small deli, cooler with drinks, and goodies rack.

Wonderful food nice people we also bought food and snacks from there to take with us back to Florida 😊

Quaint little Italian eatery. Try the DUGOUT. Its basically a half a loaf of homemade Italian bread hollowed out and stuffed with a meatball sub fillings and the baked in the pizza oven for a couple minutes... Very yummy and filling.

Pizza’s thicker than Donald Trump playing golf. Literally an inch thick. We had the eggplant pizza and it was one of the finest pizza pies we ever ate.

The best Canolli, definitely recommend getting the large one. Excellent spinach and pepperoni rolls. Nice staff.

I should have had 5 stars so I added another one. I buy the wedding soup and more every month. It is the best and really a joy to eat.

Was at mahoning town manginos worst dugout i ever had the bread was as hard as a brick looked like it sat around for an hour nasty but the dog loved it 🤣

I have been enjoying this pizza since I was a little girl! I moved out of state a while ago and none of these pizza places hold a candle to Manginos!

The staff was really nice. I am disabled and they saw that I walk with a cane. They offered to let me wait in my car and bring my order out to me. The food was so good. I will definitely be ordering from them again.

The owner is a wonderful person and the workers are wonderful as well as the food go get it you will be very thankful i love it and the family feeling you get when you walk in clean and organized by the best very respectful place to go dont miss out on the this place it is top of the line God bless them all

Wow! What a great find for lunch while lost.Dont let the "Pizza" shop name deceive you. They have great calzones, strombolis and sausage rolls prepared and ready to be heated.The food was so good, a to go order was placed for take-out dinner.

Was way better when i first starting going there.... Recently got a pepperoni roll that had the thinnest pieces of pepperoni Ive ever seen, and very little cheese it was all bread. I remember you could barely finish the large it was so stuffed. Now its like eating a loaf of bread with a hint of pepperoni.... The pizza is still ok tho so that kind of made up for the horrible pepperoni roll.

Took my crew to eat we all got 3 Single slices of pizza of pizza each and when we got back to the job 5 minutes later it eas cold.. Went back and told them and they said they must be doing something right because they been in business for 40 yrs.. Will never GI there again

I just love their pizza and their spinach rolls. Sauce is a little sweet and I normally hate sweet sauce but theirs is the best ever and the crust...wow

Great local gem. Typically has pre-made food ready to go. Dont forget to have them warm it up.

The food was great. The only issue I had was zero members of the staff was wearing masks, not even those preparing the food. Saw a guy with a full grown beard handling and preparing food without a beard net.They allowed customers to walk into a tightly compressed waiting area room without requiring a mask. Im just amazed the place hasnt been forced to close down yet for not following Gov. Wolf covid plan.

Great crusty crunchy tasty pizza!! Nice varieties. A family owned pizzeria at least 50 years old. A throwback to my childhood days. Soup and deserts are good too. As of March 2021 only carry out. No eat in. Best to call your order in advance for pick up so you dont have to wait. Good friendly customer service with a smile.

There are 2 adults and one 6yr old child with horrible food poisoning from eating take out from this restaurant last night! Thank gosh my friends 3 ye old only ate the fries! I spent over $50 to be in HORRIBLE PAIN and sicker than a dog! I was extremely hesitant to order from anywhere do to what we are all dealing with in this world. But a friend of mine recommended Manginos. I know it’s not like they did it on purpose BUT it’s showing their not being cautious about cleaning, dating food items and just checking all together. I have never been so sick. And it’s obvious it’s food poising since 3 out of the 4 of us are sick and all ate the pizza. I can say I’m definitely disappointed. So maybe to others, don’t order from here.

I have been going here since I was a pup. Best Stromboli and Pizza around. Located in the most Italian of Italian neighborhoods, the people of Mahoningtown take great pride in their traditions and it shows in the homemade taste of their pride and joy Manginos.

Honestly, the reviews is what made me want to try the food. Unfortunately, the pepperoni pizza I ordered looked like old 90s style school pizza but even more plain.

Manginos is simply the best pizza Ive ever had. Its my long time favorite by a huge margin and I cant think of a higher compliment. There is just something about the crust, sauce, and cheese that just brings the whole thing together (especially with sausage and pepper ringin a way I dont feel like I ever have. Plus you cannot go wrong with their holiday/party trays filled with a variety of their foods.

Very good pizza. Got the pepperoni sweet Italian sausage mushroom. Crust everything good except for the generic no taste sausage. May order again but skip the sausage. I like trying different pizza places. Same old gets old lol.

Best pizza ever. We come for basketball year y and found this place last year. I took my family and friends this year and they were very impressed. We will definitely be back!

The only reason why i gave it one star is i have a question for regular Manginos customers. Is there food in mahoningtown the same as the one on Wilmington Road is there any difference in taste? Besides I never tried Manginos food before. I know Pizza mans Pizza has good pizza and Marchellonis and I hear a lot of good stuff about Alis Pizza that I never tried before either.

Ordered a 12 cut pepperoni siciliano, and a 12 cut tomato sicilian.........both were bellisimo on flavor, dough texture, crust crunchiness, sauce flavor, cheese melt (moisture), and pepperoni.Highly recommended, and service was great!!!Mangiamo!!!!

Nice selection of pizzas to buy by the slice for a quick lunch. Their Stromboli is more of a Calzone, but also very good. I prefer my food piping hot, and theres is not. Understandably because the pizza would dry out. But it reheats very well! Especially in a toaster oven!

Meh. Prices are right. Pizza sauce and crust are good, but the cheese used was iffy. Wings were ordered crispy (the guy on the phone even asked this specifically), came out mushy. Better than some of the joints in town, but you can do better elsewhere.

Every time I come here I get the Poor Mans Pizza. Absolutely delicious. The last time I came the food was all cold whenever I bought it which was strange. Good food though, not so friendly staff.

The eggplant pizza and the zucchini pizza are a revelation. Youre not going to be able to eat this stuff every night, as its far too rich. But you really need to give it a try. This will be your new passion in life.

I only had the spinach and pepperoni rolls along with marinara sauce on the side .... they were the best ones I ever had eaten!!! I also heard from several people the Dugout is sooo delicious!!! Hmmm .... I think tomorrow Im going to Manginos to get myself a Dugout !!!
