I love Gettysburg Gettysburg has so much to offer the other people around the world and there is so much literature to read up here and so much history that I think its awesome when people come up

Nice field

Clean,safe, dog park , baseball fields, playground and a nice paved loop trail for bikes and walkers or runners plus clean bathrooms and in a great location behind the Hospital .

Had my granddaughter birthday party here was great lots of room and the playground was awesome.

Great playground and plenty of space for a picnic.

Several play grounds for the kids to play. Excellent grounds , very clean and well maintained. The bathroom was very clean and OPEN on a weekday too. Thanks park people great job.

Second time we have been there. Great fireworks. And you can get up close to watch. Not crowded. No bugs. And very comfortable

We saw a lady fall. The policeman stood and watched. Never lifted a hand to help the lady.

My family and I had a blast at the fireworks display. Beautiful place to have them.

Excellent playground for younger kids, baseball field was in excellent shape and a great option for those kids who just need to burn some energy.

Loved all the space and cleanliness of facilities.

My daughter rented a Pavillion and the facility was very nice! There were indoor bathrooms available, and playgrounds and swingsets for the younger kids. A grill was available to cook burgers and dogs and a great distance between pavilions for privacy. Very enjoyable afternoon!

Went to a baby shower it was very nice for the kids to play and we could still watch them

My kids enjoy going to the Rec. Park...My 15 year old loves to go to the skatepark,my 12 year old likes to walk the trails and my 2 year old likes to play on the playground...theres lots to do for all ages...

We rented the activity building very pleasant place to have any kind of family gathering inside out of the elements

I want to give the park 5 stars because its beautiful and a nice place to take the kids, however i noticed theres poison Ivy throughout the grass at the older playground to i didnt let my son down. I then decided to just carry him and walk around the path and noticed the entire park is full of 2-3 inch poison Ivy plants.. Its an awesome park but not worth my kids getting poison Ivy all over. I did call today and spoke with someone so hopefully they can treat the main areas of play or something.

The park was very nice, and the staff was fantastic! After helping a Youth group load a bus, a youth came to the realization they had left their bag. The bag contained their ID, debit card, driving permit, wallet (with cashand many other things. The park found the bag and sent the bag back to the given address giving the child back their much needed items, and wrote them a not. It was so thoughtful and restored my faith in humanity!
