Golden West Motel in King County

They have rooms with a full kitchen... Stove oven microwave sink cupboards fridge freezer.... The whole 9 yards.

This motel has its ups and downs. The pros:..the rooms are normal size. You get 1- queen bed(hard as f#%$), a desk, a tv and 2 shelves for clothes and 2 night stands and there is still plenty of room to walk around and not be squished. Then you also get s tiny closet for hanging some clothes and a good size bathroom and thr bonus is you also get a whole kitchen including a table refrigerator and stove. Bring your own pots pans and dishes tho. Sobits basically a mini apartment for the cheapest price of any other motel around from what ive found. And you cant beat the location, right off highway 99 and about a half mile from I 5. All the restaurants you can think of around ya here too.The cons...they are very VERY old. Need updated/r#emodeled bad. They dont do a very good job cleaning them so that makes it even worse. They making get room service even if you dont want it and get woke up by the cleaning lady everyday at 11. We work nights so this is very annoying when we are trying to sleep. And the owners are not the friendliest people out there either. But They are nit the worst either.

Good location. Theyve been around forever. Always willing to accommodate me and thats so amazing because sometimes motels can be really tricky with all their rules/regulations , outrageous deposits and whatnot. Anyways, love this place. Yes it is a little run down as far as the rooms go, but nothing terrible just a bit old as far as furniture goes. Still definitely livable and clean.

Very sketchy. Old carpet, linens on the bed and curtains. The room wreaked of cigarettes. I would not stay there.

Ive never had a problem with this place, its old and a little ghetto but for the price you cant complain really, anytime I use a cheaper motel the 1st thing I do is bleach everything, so I can be comfortable.

A good place to hang your hat and get some rest. The rooms are a bit on the minimal side, but, the extended stay rooms have a full kitchen and the rate is pretty good. The owners are pretty friendly too.

This motel is actually one of my top five most favorite motels within the entire Snohomish county area. The staff members here are all extremely nice, super friendly, courteous and very understanding as well as easy to work with. Id probably recommend this motel overall others first. Their rates are also extremely great also.

In the beginning the owners/manager where very friendly and accommodating, but after a few days the owner decided we needed to leave for no reason. Came to our door and told us we had an hour to leave. They had just kicked the people in the room next to ours out and I am assuming they associated us with them. Also lots of shady activity goes on there. People trying to break in to cars and walking around with backpacks. If you stay here make sure your valuables are very secure.

You are respectful as long as you are a criminal. I am sorry I ever was nice to the owner. They want you not to have a say and know your rights because they hate intelligent educated people. Terrible

Besides being out dated and in need of remodel, the service is pretty good. It has been really quiet! One would think that a cheap place like this would bring in bad things.

Never a bad experience you pay for what you get and as long as youre respectful and to yourself there is no issues here. Could use an update sheets and blankets wise....... but other than that i chose to stay here alot

I stay here when I exhibit at the Edmonds Art Fair in June each year. Its very clean, not too noisy despite being near a busy a highway, and extremely convenient. I left my pillow there one year, and they were very helpful about getting it back to me. Its modestly priced...
