Let me start by saying GINA 🙌🏻🙌🏻 God Bless you 🙏❤️I did a Brazilian wax with Gina & it was great . I Love her vibes and how she very understanding. This is my second time with her I just love her work ❤️ HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER . Goldie did great hiring her ! Couldnt leave a tip because my budget but next time Im definitely tipping her !

I see a lot of complaints about my boss, my mentor!! & I would like to speak some truth on here! Goldie has given me so many tools and opened so many doors for me, outside and inside her salon. I know for a fact I’m not the only one she has done this for. I’m so thankful for the career opportunity Goldie influenced on me! I took a brow class with her in March 2019, before I even got my Esthetician’s License. She gave me the information for the school where I eventually took my classes. After I got my License, I was working at European Wax Center, just to learn how to do Brazilians (since we don’t learn that in school). When it was brought to her attention that I was waxing she personally contacted me for a better opportunity and that’s what she does! She’s in a position to give us estheticians opportunities. She took a chance on me and now here I am writing this review as her Lead Esthetician! Specializing in body waxing, eyebrows and facials! I started at the Beauty Bar, July 2021.-Goldie has expanded my knowledge in so many different aspects. In the business and in life. I’m hungry to learn and to excel & she has noticed my drive and loyalty and always puts us in position to win! I know girls have been in and out of the shop for whatever reason that may be but I know it wasn’t because Goldie is a bad boss or person. Goldie is all tough love because she knows how great we can really be if we just apply ourselves. Greatness doesn’t happen overnight nor does it happen when you get comfortable OR when things are sugar coated. She is frank and truthful! She is always available to give constructive criticism. However, let’s make it known that she also there for us personally. I appreciate her so much! She really has a heart of gold. That’s important as a business owner because, yes, business is business but life is also life and she is so understanding when it comes to both! That’s something you cannot take advantage of. THANK YOU BOSS! I’ll always give you your flowers while you can smell them! You deserve it!

I had a good experience from one of the girls on the 23rd of September, but when I returned with 2 other people to be serviced. Well the owner stated that we should’ve brought children and accused us of looking for a hand out. One of my family members was cut up and had a nail dryer dropped on her foot and she’s pregnant. If you ever go there please be aware of who’s doing your service and get their name, even video tape your service because they care about themselves not you. Worse experience and dealings with an unprofessional place.

Letty did her thing with my eyelashes , just what I wanted , she’s amazing honeslty worth the experience, will be coming back !!

Great service all around! The Nail techs are so professional and makes me feel comfortable everytime I come in. Highly recommended, you wont be disappointed and prices are affordable and the results are impeccable. Im so happy I found this place. Arlette was absolutely amazing! I loved my facial. She was so friendly, polite, and professional. While completing my facial, she communicated about the whole process and even offered recommendations based on my skin type. Totally worth the 1.5 hour drive. I’ll definitely be back to see her!

The ONLY place I will go to and I’ve been getting waxed for years. Every month I drive 35 minutes to see Yelixa. She makes you feel comfortable, she’s quick, and she has even cleared up my skin that became icky from the other waxers I used to go to. Never again, get with Yelixa. She won’t disappoint. 10/10

I’ve been going to this salon for a year now and I haven’t went anywhere since. They greet you at the door every time and Yelixa is the hand down the best waxer. She takes her time talks you through the process and makes you feel very comfortable. The environment is very welcoming friendly and clean. LOVE THIS PLACE !!!

Yelixa did my Brazilian today (8/25 and she did an amazing job! I could literally feel the growth that she has made. I dont even feel the tweezers being used anymore which is awesome 😊

I have never had proper lash extensions done, so I did a lot of research on how to care for them and where to go. Mariah did not disappoint, she took the time to answer any questions that I had and was flexible when I changed what I wanted on the day of the appointment. My nerves were completely calmed, & my lashes looked so amazing that I didn’t wear hardly any makeup at all for the wedding I was attending that weekend! They even lasted through boating over the holiday weekend! I have already rebooked & am so thankful to have found such a great lash artist

Just had a Brazilian wax done by Yelixa. She was so patient and comforting thru the whole process and I loved the outcome! Goldie’s Beauty Bar has a welcoming atmosphere and all their associates were knowledgeable, friendly and I was provided with great customer service!

I went for a facial and eyebrow wax and tint, my facial with Britney was amazing, it was very relaxing, she made me feel very comfortable, and even gave me product recommendations.

The customer service is phenomenal. Alexa and Gina are by far the best. They are both knowledgeable and explained what each step was for the vajacial and a Brazilian wax. The spa is clean and has a welcoming environment. I am very pleased with the service provided and will be returning for additional services next week!! Thanks so much!!!

As soon as I entered the beauty bar I was greeted and signed in. My brow tech, i think her name is Leslie was great. She took her time which I totally appreciate, and before she started she asked me what she shape i liked. She outlined and showed me my eyebrow shape before she starting waxing my eyebrows. I truly appreciate the service and will be repeat customer. Definitely worth the 30 minute drive. I went in for wax, shape and tint price was also very reasonable. Before the pandemic I would have to drive to NYC for my services but Goldie is my new go to. Thanks for the great service.

Goldies is a must for all your esthetician & Beauty needs in Reading, PA. It was exactly what the city needed all the way around. Geared towards making us look & feel our most amazing. The atmosphere is so relaxing & welcoming. I recently got a set of classic lashes by Jay & she handled me so well as her client. I booked a refill with her & this time we went over more of how I wanted them to look & she was able to mix the remaining classic I had with hybrid & gurllll I love them 😍 she did a bomb job & they just make my natural face pop even more. I love it here 😎

Best waxing experience ive ever had! HANDS DOWN! I got a brazilian, half leg and underarm with Gina. She was professional, talkative, she told me when to breathe.. which all helped ease the pain. She even used a fan to help cool the wax as she applied! Her room had a lot of greenery and was decorated with plants and she had awesome chill r&b music. I was feeling all the good vibes! I appreciated that! The results were the best results ive ever had! She made it so worth it! My body is SO clean! She didnt miss a hair, she let me check the results myself and cleaned up any hairs she missed. What more can i say. I tipped her 30%! Whenever i am in Reading she has my loyalty! i got my brows wax and tinted for mother’s day weekend by rebecca and they were absolutely the best brows i have ever gotten . She did a immaculate job , was super friendly, so gentle i dosed off. The atmosphere was very nice , even had my favorite 2000’s music playing . This is definitely my new spot for brows.

A true hidden gem in the heart of downtown Reading, PA. Originally, I came looking for one thing, which is getting my eyebrows shaped, waxed, and tinted. I like to keep my eyebrows and lashes done since it the only part visible when I wear a mask most of the day. I took a leap of faith coming here and met with my favorite Leslie Cepeda. Not only is her work great and consistent, but so is the other work of everyone else in her bar. I came only to get my eyebrows done, but seeing the work they did on other clients. I now conveniently book everything here. I was tired of looking for a nail tech, eyebrow tech, and lash tech in different places. You can book multiple appointments at once and come and get everything done in one stop. If you were looking for a sign to call and make appt or book online, here it is. You won’t regret it!

I went for my first time and I NEVER trust anyone with my eyebrows but I heard nothing but good things and I was very satisfied. They came out great everyone was extremely friendly and professional and even Goldie greeted and thanked me for coming. I will be booking for my eyelashes next a d cant wait.

Last Saturday I got my eyebrows done by Rebecca for the first time , & she did not disappoint me at all !! Definitely will recommend . This place is the spot to go to!! They do my lashes and when I got my tummy tuck 3 years ago they did my massages too!! Now I faithfully go for my eyebrows biweekly! Ask for my guru “REBECCA”! Trust & believe everybody is a professional and shows you love once you walk through that door.

I went to goldie’s for the first time a few weeks ago and Aanisah serviced me. I was receiving a brazilian wax I told her it was my first time and she reassured me that everything was going to be okay told me about her experience and made me feel comfortable the whole time ! The pain was so bearable because she was so professional, kind, and funny! Her work place was so cozy and relaxing I loved my whole experience! For this reason, I will always come to Goldie’s and book with Aanisah and anyone she recommends!

My experience Aanisah today was amazing. She took her time with my facial, she actually cares for your skin. We held good conversation and she educated me on different ways to improve my skin. Definitely will be coming back to her. She is GREAT.

Best best wax I’ve ever received! It was very clean and they are taking great precautionary measures, sanitizing, gloves, temp checks, etc. All the staff is very professional and friendly! Also a plus that most are bilingual in order to provide best experience for all types of clients

I got an eyebrow wax and tint done here for the first time by Rebecca. She did an awesome job, I’m super satisfied with the final product. I’ve been going to Goldies for the past couple of years to get lash extensions with Brittany who is so amazing! I recently found myself very interested in getting my eyebrows waxed and tinted by Leslie, after seeing her eyebrows and her work on others! At first, I was so nervous, who wouldn’t be I’ve been going to the same person for years!!! Let me just say boy am I glad I decided to give her a try!! My brows came out perfectly shaped and better than I could have imagined them being!! Leslie was very nice and professional— she’s also very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of questions! I heard and saw a lot of good things about this place...so why not try it out. Spent $200 total includes tip. First off I didnt get what I asked for my lashes was curvy. Then to wake up next morning my lashes all on left eye fell off. Kept calling no answer left voicemail nothing. Then today after going this morning paying again to get fixed another lash lady I get a message talking about schedule an appointment. I should of known better when the first lash tech asked me if she can switch to another lash tech because she doesnt do good with classics. Thought they was all certified.

This was my first time here and I cant say enough good things. Britney was awesome from giving me a facial to doing my lash extensions. Claribel was great in doing my eyebrow wax & tint. Goldie was always making sure to explain the after care to me. I was so impressed with my time there. The prices were beyond affordable. The staff was amazing. Highly recommend Goldies!
