Always nice and pleasant to talk to. Quickly got my order and I was on my way with the yummy pizza in no time.
Their Pizza is good but Customer Service needs improvement. I am trying somewhere else. I called up on 10/28 and ordered a medium pie. The girl who answered the phone said it will be 45 to 50 minutes. I said fine, I will pick it up. I show up and they didnt have a pie for me. Why not offer me a few slices to satisfy my hunger? I would have paid for them of course but nothing was done to rectify the problem. Very poor service, sorry you are busy but you wont be if you treat customers the way you treated me. I was very disappointed.
Very friendly, good variety for food and full bar. Food was very good
Get my lunch from Good fellas and does not disappoint. Pizza is good , salads and burger is delicious.
So good! The personal pizzas will easily feed 2 and we’re delish. Fresh veggies added a perfect crunch to the veggie pizza. Service was quick and friendly. Restrooms were clean. Definitely found our new lunch spot when we trek from New England to Southern PA!
Every kind of pizza by the slice I wanted, they didnt have. Two people in the party and one order was wrong.Ordered two Supersize Pizzas to go. We joked on the drive home that we didnt check the pizzas. The order was not complicated!! One MeatLovers One 1/2 cheese, 1/2 pepperoni. Guess what...no pepperoni. If it wasnt a 2+ hour drive I would make a fuss!! Thank goodness by chance I have pepperoni at home, my Autistic Son would not understand where his Pizza is. This one was not worth the drive, even though the scenery was beautiful.
The pizza was good, but the prices on their website are out of date. I don’t mind paying the amount they charge, but they should really update their site so there are no surprises.
Food was very good servers were very friendly. I had the eggplant parmesan dinner and my companion had the chicken Caesar. Both were very good.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Cost me 30 bucks for 3 slices of pizza an order of garlic knots and 2 sodas. Within the hour I threw up all my food. Will never go here ever again. What a waste of money.
Good food. Great portions and good service. Moderate prices. What more can you ask for? Loved this place. Will be back.
Had dinner sent to my hotel after a horrible rainy 8 hrs on the road 2 yrs ago. Couldnt remember the name of the restaurant, but remembered how delicious it was. After a few calls to some other Italian restaurants in the area (who were all rudeI was greeted by a friendly woman who took my order, no fuss, told me 20 min. I barely got settled in when delivery came. Everything was delicious, hot, fresh and the delivery person included extra plates and cutlery for sharing. Thank you, Thank you! I look forward to my traveling through and ending my day with a great meal from your restaurant!
Enjoyable place to dine and delicious food...i had the Italian wrap and the BF had the cheeseburger he said was very good, juicy and tasty....although very busy our server was very sweet n nice🤩😊.
Even with them being short staffed they had the order ready when I went in to pick the order up. And they did warn me since I deliver through an app that there could possibly be a wait being short staffed. Employees are very polite.
I had a couple of slices of pizza. It was delicious. I think its the sauce. Service was very good!
The biggest pizza was much more than enough for 8 people. It tasted good. Awesome!
Wife and I decided to get a slice while visiting Matamoras and found goodfellas. These were the biggest slices weve ever seen and they were delicious!
Decided to try this place out on my lunch break but seriously regret the decision. The lady behind the counter seemed very unhappy to be there with a monotone voice when I asked if they had any vegetarian slices of pizza - sadly they do not besides plain or bruchetta slice. Decided on the bruchetta slice & tiramisu. Everything was packaged poorly for a to go pick up. The pizza got grease all over my car bc they did not box it or staple it in the bag. Bruchetta slice had a few small, sad slices of tomato on it, basically felt like I was eating greasy bread with some balsamic glaze. The tiramisu tasted like it was left uncovered in the refridgerator as the cream part clearly tasted of other food odors 🤮. Felt like I flushed $16 down the toilet.
Terrible service! A group of 15 people went there to order some pizza pie and they told me I had to wait 1 hour for the food😡😡
Wasnt very pleased. Plain pie was $19 and not tasty at all. Very friendly staff though.
Big fan of goodfellas so no surprise I loved the atmosphere here. People working were super nice and recommended some slices for me. I ended up getting a slice of the chicken Parmesan pizza. First this pizza was enormous soo awesome job there. It was not my favor pizza but I could be the toppings a choose. Everyone else seemed to love it. I would probably give the pizza a 7 or 8 out of ten meaning it’s worth grabbing a slice. If I’m in the area, I definitely want to try it again. All and all the restaurant is a solid 5 out of 5. Great service and amazing food! Be sure to check them out!
The food was fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive.
Very large good tasting slices, friendly staff, Goodfellas theme inside & always good food.
Spent $43 on pizza and wings and the dough wasnt even cooked! This is disgusting. 1st time and last time! Not to mention this was my girlfriends birthday.
Wait over 45 minutes for order, still was not started. Went to a movie and picked up order after. The result is disappointing, pizza crust is undercooked still almost like dough consistency, and ordered with toppings and pizza had very few on it. Keep in mind we already waited 45 minutes and went to a movie that was a little over 2 hours and pizza was definitely underdone. Very disappointed and not going back.
Absolutely delicious. Crazy large portions for great price. So worth the 76 mile trip!!!
This will be my last visit to goodfellas .this is the second consecutive time that i ordered an entree and was not given salad or bread. This time I remembered to ask for it not assume the order was complete.I also ordered a cold coffin Italian sub. There was no lettuce no tomato and no oil and vinegarBest of luck your service has never been adequate. The only reason to go there was the food was good. Now not so much.
Food is good and fresh. Prices are reasonable. The portions are also a very good size. You are getting a quality meal at this spot.
Not unpleasant but nothing to distinguish the establishment from many other "average" places to eat. I wouldnt avoid the place, but wouldnt go out of my way to eat there either. Really average...
Pizza was good but definitely not done enough and was only slightly warm. Lady did not seem to want to speak to us, yet she spent plenty of time at her other tables talking. We did not seem welcomed there
Great pizza place/family restaurant. Ive had a few experiences now and Im making them my new go-to. I took my parents here for a casual dinner with my kids (including a fussy 2 1/2 year old). The waitress was fantastic. She was prompt, kind, and really intuitive as she noticed my stress and gave me a nice pour for my glass of wine. She was delightful. The food was good that night for everyone. We werent a huge fan of the alfredo that my daughter ordered but the lasagna, pizza, and sandwich was yummy. Big portion sizes, too.I recently went in to pick up a pie. I was annoying because I had asked for an order of garlic knots and a couple drinks while we waited for the pizza but they were accommodating and prompt. The timing was great. The garlic knots and pizza....out of this world. If you are from LI and miss the pizza...no worries, go here, youll get what you are looking for. Thanks Goodfellas! We love your place!
Best damn pizza I have ever had. The topping amount was amazing 😍😍. My fiancee loves the garlic butter crust. I would give this 10 stars if I could. Want pizza. Go here, you wont regret it. But bring your appetite!!
I tried this place for the first time tonight. I had high hopes this would be a place I could frequent on upcoming business travel.I ordered the flat iron steak and was extremely disappointed. The steak was way over cooked and very tough. A poor quality steak. I was unable to eat it. On top of that, the salad that comes with the dinner entree was not included in my order. This should be removed from the menu.Disappointed and still hungry.
The Veal Parm was authentic and delicious. Prices were reasonable. Will definitely have that again and look forward to trying the pizza. Staff was friendly and attentive.
The food was ok, could have been better on the price for sure. Pizza was great size for the price basically a small pizza in one slice. The Chicken Caesar wrap was good but the fries were cold and stiff with barely any salt, the pasta with meat was full of water and tasted burnt. The pasta was overcooked and soggy by the time I started to eat it. Some of them were good but most on the bottom were gross. There was alot of chunky tomatoes in it also. And they didnt send any plastic silverware with it so I had to go ask the front desk at the hotel Im in for some.
I came in on a dead, rainy Thursday. The staff seemed completely spaced out. I ordered 2 slices. One had a bunch of toppings and was somewhat large, the other was smaller with just pepperoni. Both were way too salty.I find out later that the larger one was a "superslice" for $5.50, which I guess was almost worth that. But the pepperoni one came to $4.50, which was explained as a $3.50 regular slice PLUS $1 PER TOPPING PER SLICE!!!I had mentioned Id like a drink from the bar when I was served my slices. My choice was to either get up from the table and move to the bar to order a drink, or wait til I finished eating and then go the bar. It was apparently too much work to walk a drink 10 feet across the room. When I paid for my slices, the girl didnt ask if I wanted a drink, even though I had obviously not moved to the bar while eating.I was the only customer and there were four people working behind the counter. Maybe you were trying to leave early? No reason for your service to be like this and no reason to give me an attitude when I questioned the bill. Over $10 for 2 slices is NOT the average price for the area. You had plenty of staff to help one customer, the phone rang maybe twice in the half-hour I was there and only two people came in for pick-ups.
Worst pizza ever. Ordered the special with meatballs; got turkey sausage sliced thin for meatballs; pepperoni you could see through. The only thing fresh was some green peppers. However Chris the server was great; she made a bad meal tolerable.Last time ever at this place.
on vacation stopped here for pizza slice to go. Admittedly they were a little busy, it was kind of chaotic, so we order 2 slices and garlic bread. Est. time 15 min (pizza slices were already in counter, just needed to heat uphe gives us the slices in a box and we still had to wait for the garlic bread, pizza was cold by the time we received rest of order. Shouldve spoken up and asked to reheat, but thought, since we asked him to keep the box warm and he put on top of oven it would stay warm. Nope! The slices ARE huge, but it was nasty tasting :(
Drove past from out of state and decided to give Goodfellas a try if not for the name. Waitress was pleasant and atmosphere engaging. Crossed our fingers and ordered chicken parm x2. It was enough food for 4 ppl and every bite was as delicious as the next. We were pleasantly surprised and content with the entire experience. We recommended them to friends and family who live in the area.
Overall an excellent experience. I reserve the right to come back and edit this later though! I ordered a bunch of stuff to go for other family members. The pizza is huge, as you can see from the pictures. The brown and white pizza is a stuffed barbequed chicken pizza my daughter ordered. She was able to eat ONE slice. LolI got the two slices, plain and the "Captains". I could not finish the second slice, and I am a big eater! The waitress was very helpful and patient. The staff were all friendly. The place was very clean. The atmosphere was surprisingly nice! It had a little outdoor seating area and very nice ambiance. Nice art on the walls, both murals and pictures. This seemed more like a stand alone restaurant than a place in a "strip mall". I think they far outclass the rest of the tenants here.My daughter has raved about this place for quite a while, so I brought her today so I could try it.Back to the pizza.... for some background, I was a pizza man when I was younger and ran a pizzeria. I am VERY picky. The first thing I will say is this is the best pizza I ever had in Pennsylvania. But thats a low bar to overcome. The crust was excellent. Excellent. The cheese and toppings were fine. The sauce was the only thing I was not a huge fan of. Its not that it was bad, and this is COMPLETELY subjective of course. It was the weak point to me for sure. Thats the only negative I have, and its really not negative. Just a matter of taste.
Great menu selections... large portions....10" personal pan pizza is truely a 18" small pie elsewhere.... the pizza crust is thick and heavy. The marinara sauce is thick but lacking something. Maybe we hit them on a off night... we will try again but I dont have high expectations! Everyone has a different palette when it comes to Italian food!
Food is poor quality…smothered in oil or butter. Service was okay, understaffed. Left with no napkins or utensils, we had to go in and get everything we needed. Waitress had no help from other staff and she was also responsible for answering the phones while trying to serve people. Not worth the money. Fries were bland, Mac n cheese bites over cooked, garlic knots were just bread rolled in butter. Never again.
We didn’t know what expect in terms of taste when he happened upon Goodfellas. There were no other restaurants in area and it was late. We Were greeted warmly and our server was so pleasant and efficient. They actually had vegan cheese so we ordered a pizza to share and spaghetti with clam sauce. Everything was absolutely delicious!! The pasta came with a good size green salad that was very fresh and colorful. We didn’t realize we had come in close to closing time but no one rushed us. We will make a point to return when in the area. Highly recommend
We ordered a few dishes to go while we were staying at a local hotel. The food was ready in the time they promised and counter service as friendly. The portions were very generous but overall all our dishes were bland and the pasta was mushy and overcooked. The pizza the people eating in the restaurant look fairly good so I might go that route again if I visit the area.
Well this is an updated review. We havent ordered from them for a long time. I have to say this has been our best Friday pizza night! They delivered under the time allotted. The pizza was perfectly cooked. We ordered a large regular, an a large pepperoni. Where do we start??? From the first bite of yum to the buttery crust you WONT throw away simply because its delicious! From start to finish point blank delicious! So if you have been lack luster with your regular delivery pie. Call this establishment your taste buds will thank you!!! I am so glad I ordered!
Had the best time. Here love all the Goodfellas references. I am a big fan of the movies and history of a Goodfella. Thank guys yall truely great. I am writing this review while sitting in this very amazing restaurant
The food is always good when we go here. The service is fast and the staff is great. We love it here.
Two stars because the Sicilian pizza was good. Ordered the Tiramisu to go for desert and found mold spores on top. Needless to say, spoiled the whole meal..
Weve been a patron many times but tonight I must say was the worst and definitely needed a review. The service was non-existent. The waitress seemed to be too busy hanging out with the cooking staff, my grilled chicken was burnt, I ordered a buffalo grill salad. Nor did she ask if I wanted a large or small. The hot tea was warm and I had to ask for sugar which came but no spoon to stir. Part of my order never came and my husbands order, after 15-minutes receiving mine, we were told they were just getting it started. My husband advised the waitress not to bother. A couple before us (and it was just them and us in the restaurantwaited nearly 20-minutes for the waitress to bring them their check, which they never received. The husband went to the front to pay and as they were exiting wished us "good luck". We too had to go to the front to pay for our order as the "disappearing waitress" did not bother to ask if we would like our check after my husband decline to pursue his order. My husband let the staff know he was not happy with the service. Sorry to say we will no longer be patronizing this restaurant, there are other pizzeria restaurants in the area with quality service and food!!
Ive been here twice. I had a good time both times. The staff is nice. The waitress even offered to cut up my sons pizza slice because hes 2. No big deal but thoughtful. The food is very good. I got a meatball parm "coffin" the first time and just wings the second. My wife got the tortellini both times because she was so impressed by it. The sell booze too and its a decent selection. We sat outside and even though its a strip mall, its nice. They have a fence and you dont feel like youre in a parking lot.
Pizza is great. Large portions of the dinner selections. Its BYOB until liquor license is optained.
