You get what you pay for. Service varies, but weve gotten some really great haircuts here and some not as good.

I stopped in to see if they had time for a cut. 1st time there, the stylist were very nice and upbeat.Kim did an excellent job with my cut. I will go back.

Wait time was under 10 minutes and cut was perfect and I had no idea what I wanted it to look like. It had been 4 months since my last cut. I told Brenda I had a job Interview and need to look good and she knocked it out of the park!

Right in.. 10min later my husband was done and it was a GREAT looking cut.

I’ve had good luck with two of the stylists in the past. I’ve been growing my hair out and the stylist today apparently doesn’t know what don’t cut the length off and lift it up and shave under it so it flops over. My hair was very long on top and shaved tight on the sides and back. It turned out bad, so bad I almost had her just give me a high and tight and called it good. I have long hairs sticking out on the sides and back of my head and she used no guard on the clippers so it shouldn’t look that way at all. Also over an inch was taken off the length. I won’t be back. Now I need to find someone local to clean up the leftover mess. Very disappointed.

I asked for my normal fade. I walked out looking like I have a bowl cut that’s half done. Absolute worst hair cut I’ve ever gotten.

They will cut your hair but nothing more

I had the most horrific experience with coldwaters Great Clips like the lady slaughtered my hair not even close to what I wanted or the picture that I brought in I waited six weeks went back to Sturgis and by far do they have the best customer service best pair they treat their customers like we matter they asked us if we are okay with our haircut instead of just chop chop chop chopping away and theyre very good at making up for mistakes that other companies made definitely would recommend to Sturgis location would not recommend coldwater not even for my dogs

I finally got a really good haircut their. They were fantastic, kind and thoughtful. She had BLUE in her hair and I just cant remember her name. But I will go back for my next haircut. Thank you, Great Clips!😴

Nice people but nice isn’t what matters,I have naturally curly hair. I asked for a trim and curtain bangs and a little long layer.It looked good when curly, but I got home and straightened it and it is a WRECK !!!looks like someone cut my hair blindfolded. the haircut was so uneven my “curtain” bangs are at my eyes and I am so dissatisfied and disappointed

The people work hard to make the owner not even care about the people he has working for him to leave them there by themselves all day with any brakes or lunch

In Sturgis Great clips if you tell them you want your hair cut a certain way they do it.... Plus they are always very friendly

I have always had long hair and it was time to get a new look, I even bought a picture on my phone to show what I had in mind. Because I have no experience with having short trimmed hair I greatly relied upon the advice of my stylist. Were talking about faded out on the sides and back and maybe a half inch on top, kinda bed head looking. I am dumbfounded how things went soooooo wrong with a PICTURE to "guide " and help. Its a disaster and I dont know if I should return and show them how bad and politely make them fix it or just pay some extra money from anyone else. Over $30 to look horrible

Best hair cut and trim I have ever had

I usually never go here, Ive gone once and I was very pleased with the young lady who did my hair so I decided to go a second time and I absolutely regret it now. The women who attended me this time cut my hair in such a rush for no reason and did such a terrible fade. You could see where she went from 1lvl to 2 and 3, didnt even blend it and she accidentally cut a piece of my long hair because of how fast she was cutting. So upset right now. Never again.

I love this place... Really good with kids always really clean. and if ya check in online you can get in and out pretty quick. Not the cheapest place too go but its worth it for a nice haircut.

Really listened to my wants for a haircut turned out better than I hoped for. They would have gotten a five but they only cut hair no hair dye or shaping eyebrows or anything else but a hair cut.

Checked in online was supposed to be a 45min.wait got there told 60 min said others checked in plus walk ins thought on line was supposed to take ahead not pleased with service in Sturgis

My girls and i love great clips but only when vanessa is working she is the best hair cutter and super nice so when u go ask for vanessa you wont b dissatisfied at all

Unfortunately some of them shouldnt be holding scissors period. I asked for a 2 inch trim. Hair being down to my butt and to the bottom of rib cage on the front. Almost 6 inches were chopped off. Layering technique is non existent. Dry cut with curly hair. It all took 5 minutes. Didnt comb through knots or curls. Just grabbed chunks and cut. By then it was too late. Stylists crouched to floor versus pumping chair to eye height. Im in my 30s and this was literally the worst cut of my life. I will have to have it fixed. Its all uneven. I wish I could have my hair and money back!

Took my 2 year old there today. The woman who cut his hair did an excellent job. She was great with him. He doesnt like getting his hair cut, and he wasnt perfect for this one, but she made him feel more comfortable and he protested a lot less than normal.

Denise did her job well! I liked it, Id like for her to do my hair always. Ill tip her good lol

Perhaps the stylist shouldnt be in a hasty rush to get hair cuts knocked out and let the client finish their statement on the hair cut expectations first! Sooooo upset!

dont even attempted to show a picture because they will get it wrong because when i made the mistake of showing a picture and they pretty much shaved my head but dont make the mistake i did coming here

My girl friend got her hair cut by Denise. When she got home her hair was butchered it was suspossed to be layered and only 2 inches taken off Denise cut 6 inches off one side is longer than the other in front Denise ruined my ladys hair and Christmas as well has her in tears wish I could post pictures of the butcher

Got in and they were busy, had to wait about 15 min.not to long and did a great job cutting my hair, was very happy overall!

I took my two year old in for a hair cut today. He hates hair cuts. Jean and Dee were so patient with him! They exceeded my expectations for my first visit to the salon. Ill definately be back!
