Their selection has really dwindled and prices have risen...no real reason to make a trip back...its hit or miss and this time was a definite miss

Its ok fir deli. Need to watch expiration dates on a lot of the items there.

First and foremost the gentleman behind the deli counter was wonderful. I told him what I needed and he definitely picked the best cheese for a great price. Plus his little boy was the cutest. Therere other great prices for regular items as well. I found my favorite Maybelline foundation for half the price. I cant leave out the young man working the register. It was my first time shopping there and I wanted more than my budget could handle. He was patient while I argued with myself about what I was going to leave behind. Im definitely going back, and I suggest you go too.

I ordered a large order of lunch meat to take out of state on a trip... they told me the day before they had 4 of my 5 rolls and when u got there they told me they used 2 of my rolls... making me run somewhere else for them and paying more.. all they did was make excuses for it. They knew we were leaving and needed 1st thing in the morning

5 stars for the deli selection and deli prices, 3 stars for the rest of the store. Typically decently clean, but be sure to check expiration dates before purchasing.

Always great When I lived nearby I went every weekWas visiting from Harrisburg and had to stop in.

Green Hills has affordable high quality products at discounted rates. The deli is worth driving 30 minutes out of the way, in order to purchase lunch meats/cheese and Pepperidge farm bread. The Prices are unbelievably affordable as compared to main stream grocery store chains. The employees go above and beyond to assist You in any way. Ive not found another business whose atmosphere is as friendly and genuine in their service!

Usually good value. Deli is usually great especially for sandwich cheese and some meats. Since it is a discount grocery, you can count on basics but some days you walk into great buys...others not so much.

Went to visit this store to grab items for lunch. Found everything I was looking for. Excellent deli. Everything you need to grab for lunches. They also have a groceries there if you needed some additional items for later.

They sell food that has been expired for months, I mean Months! This might be a "lititz staple" but at this point its a health concern. Be weary of getting any items from here, check everything thoroughly.

Its really a shame that we cant give more than 5 stars.I love to shop at this store. This stores prices and quality of goods have been a true blessing. With our business being down due to Covid 19, we have been able to maintain quality food, fruits and vegetables in our home.My wife asked me to stop and pick up some lunch meat. The prices and bargains they have are to good to pass up! I got the lunch meat, 12 lbs. of cheese and much more. The prices are fantastic and the food quality is also. I purchased 6 really thick ham steaks for what the competition charges for 3 thin slices. Dont pass this store without doing some shopping. If you just stop in for a couple of items, youll come out with a lot more and save so much. Thank you Green Hills.

Right now they have a great deal of mix and match cans of Pepsi products for only $5.99! Good, cheap sandwich meats also!

Not bad, they have some decent deals on certain things. Its a little store that’s easy in and out. I saw some cool stuff I haven’t seen anywhere else, hope to stop back and see what else they get in

Fun little place that has something for everyone. While the prices arent as cheap as they used to be the quality and selection has shown improvement. Their deli prices cant be beat and their produce also leans towards great value.

Such a great little discount market! Their prices for deli meats can’t be beat! They have a great selection, too. You never know what kind of items your going to find there, so it’s like a treasure hunt. I won’t ever buy dented can goods, though. Also, many times their produce is already starting to turn. Overall, the store is easy to navigate and items are very organized. The store is very clean. My only issue is in warmer weather there are usually too many flies in the deli area.

I like Green Hills. I live really close by, so I go at least once a month. They people are friendly and pretty helpful and the prices are pretty good, too. You find some nice deals. They dont have everything. Most of the time I find what Im looking for. Depending on what you want, its usually hit or miss. Like, this particular visit, I went back looking for a large bag of Graham Cracker Pretzels which was in their bulk/snacks that I saw on a previous visit and Cappuccino, they didnt have either. They also didnt have anymore Pepprige Farm Sweet Hawaiian & 100% Whole Wheat Bread, only the thinly sliced which I dont care for. Thats the one downside to these discount grocery stores, each time you go the selection is different. It varies. Overall, its very nice. The people are pleasant as well as the atmosphere. You almost always come across a friendly face. Another gentleman who was shopping was nice enough to help me with a case of sodas.

Many of there prices are more expensive then the regular supermarket. Unless you buy outdated stuff. The deli used to be good but now it seems like the lunchmeat and cheeses are not very fresh.

A good place to get deli meats and cheeses, as volume they do insures freshness. Only place I have found pretzel rolls, too. Prices keep going up on their grocery items, Ive noticed. Selection varies, as this store deals in odd lots, near expiration items, some vents and dents, etc. A good place for bargains!

I shop at many discount food stores. Green Hill Farms is on my top 10. Small store but had many of my needs. Of course you never know what you will find. They do have a deli always with exceptional prices. I suggest you stop by. Im sure you will find bargains.

I really wanted to like this place and I was disappointed! I didnt find most items to be discounted at all. Was I missing something? I paid the same for canned foods, cheese and bananas as the regular grocery store. The only discount that I saw was a bag of coffee for $6.99. I will stick to Grocery Outlet, Sharp Shopper or BBs.

Great prices on Deli meats. Its a discount store so selection will always be hit or miss. At times they will have 2 types of pop tarts, at times they will have 10. But seems I find something new with each visit.

Here, just outside Lititz on Newport Rd., is the best place for always fresh, custom sliced cold cuts and cheeses. Great variety, good prices and always some on "special". Yummy Pretzel buns (regular and slider sizesin pkgs right there at the deli counter. Store sells some items not in date at discounted prices but still good. Limited variety of brands, but for the price, who cares? Name brand jars of herbs and spices really much cheaper here. Also good bulk items.

Amazing discount deli meat that I actually trust because its their own. Theres a good variety of groceries, but you never know exactly what will be there, so dont go with a list. Just enjoy the surprise!

This place is convenient to my home, just 3min. Away so a good place if I need something quick, like a loaf of bread or a gallon of milk.they have a great deli with very good prices. You can also get subs made there.they also have seasonal items like mulch, flowers or for the fall hay bales and corn stalks. Its a great little store. Some deals are great while others a bit pricey for what type of store it is.

I really did not like this grocery store. This was recommended to me by a friend and I dont know what they were fussing about. I know this is a discounted grocery store but all of the boxes were broken along with the stuff being out of date. Usually being out of date wouldnt mind me but the boxes are at least in good condition. It was also not that cheap especially for a discounted grocery store. The prices were comparable to going to the actual grocery store at full price. Dont recommend shopping here

If you need less expensive options over Giant or Weis I definitely recommend shopping here. Also their deli meat and cheese is really good. Its also an easy walk if you live in the Newport Commons apartments or surround town homes.

Best place to buy lunch meat, very busy place take your time so you dont miss a good bargain.

This is a great little grocery store with discounted items. My wife and I always go here for our lunch meat and cheese. They have fresh veggies cheap as well. Snack items for the kids lunches are also cheap here too.

Definitely a great spot for your deli meats and cheeses, their prices cant be beat. On the other stuff its a hit or miss some times, remember folks its a discount store but most times youll find great stuff cheaper than the bigger stores.

You never know what youll find here which is part of the joy.They have a deli with great prices and its sliced when you order and theres usually a line so you know the product is fresh. It can be iffy at a place like this but Ive never gotten a bad deli item.Yes, things are bent and dent and often expired, but the prices are good so you dont always mind. After all 3/$1 on a dented expired item beats the $3 a regular grocer would charge!Its a small store with a good variety. They even have a produce section with home grown items.

BEST deli prices you will find. Seriously. As a discount grocer, their inventory fluctuates (which I think is fun), produce quality is generally good, its very well run by good people and the staff has always been courteous. Shopped here for nearly 10 years...and counting. (FYI...still counting and still LOVING this place. Great value and great staff...thank you!!!!!!!!!!!)

As far as discount grocery stores go they are not the best. However, if you live in the area I would definitely give them a try. You definitely will not get everything you need but theyre prices are cheap. If you eat deli meats you must try their deli. The deli prices are about half as much as anywhere else. Every week they have specials on at lease one meat and one cheese making them even more affordable. Ive read a bad review about their premade sandwiches being thin. I think they did away with these sandwiches because all I ever see is subs that Id recommend to everyone. Subs are made fresh every morning and leftovers from the previous day are discounted.

This is not the place you go for high quality. This is for getting a deal, period. The food is often in beaten up boxes and dented cans. A good portion of the selection is expired. But if youre looking for cheap, this is the best place for it. That beat up box of muffin mix is only 15 cents, the salad dressing is a quarter, and snacks are 5 for a dollar. The deli counter especially is probably the cheapest in the area, and that at least seems fresh. Id skip the pre-made sandwiches as they are rather thin, but the meats and cheeses are decent. The only trick to this store is if you find anything decent, buy it quickly and as much as will keep - it probably wont be there tomorrow.
