Gregs is a friendly and welcoming place with great food and a small but well selected tap beer selection. Smithton in general is an unusually friendly small town that welcomes outsiders and bicyclists.

My buddy and I stopped in to Gregs after a long ride off of the GAP trail from Pittsburgh. It was late and the B and B we were saying at called ahead to make sure they would stay open to serve us. They close at 9pm. They were open and very friendly when we arrived, we ordered the pizza along with fries and a steak wrap. WOW! Greg knows how to cook, plus the selection of beers on tap was incredible. Get the Radler if they still have it. Friendly staff, great food and nice portions plus great drinks. Will stop in again on the next trip off the trail.

Ive only been here twice, counting tonight. 1st time I had a steak sub. Absolutely delicious. Tonight I had 12 jumbo wings with gator sauce (hot like I love itwith blue cheese, hot pepper cheese balls with ranch, homemade potato chips with ranch, and a few Moosehead Radler (a grapefruit, lemon, n grape beer made for student in Holland who drank during class, so Im told). Food was awesome, plentiful helps, Im stuffed n content. Greg the owner is one awesome cool nice guy. He loves his patrons happy. Quaint little mom n pop stop. Cozy, calm, adult like, with a somewhat extensive menu of home cooked eats. Do yourself a favor n at least visit here once.
