Gust Orthodontics in Reno County

Dr. Gust is a fabulous human, and a great orthodontist. I have been his patient & so have both my daughters -& our teeth look great!BUT I can count on one hand the number of times any of the three of us has been seen within even fifteen minutes of our scheduled appointment time. Gust Orthodontics frequently runs behind schedule & is overbooked. The waiting room &/or parking lot are full of busy family members waiting to pick up their child/sibling/grandchild & other patients waiting to be seen -especially on McPherson/Newton days, but even at the home/Hutchinson office. We liked the results, so weve been return customers, but its time consuming & so frustrating.

Great office - very responsive over email and phone. Just starting but excited to get going with the doctor!

This place is the absolute best! My teeth look stunning thanks to them! The people there are so kind and always care. After only a couple appointments they have your name memorized. They always make sure to talk to you too and make sure you are ok and not hurting. I love this place and thank them so much for my smile. What a great group of people!! ❤️

Gust did wonders on my daughters teeth. Very pleased with the whole process.

My daughter just got her braces removed and her teeth look amazing! I definitely recommend Gust Orthodontics, Dr. Gust did not rush the process of putting braces on as we had 3 consultations before it was time for braces. When it was time to remove the braces, he didnt like the spacing, so he left her in them for another 2 weeks and then removed. He does not rush anything and takes the time, he truly cares about his patients.

Dr. Gust and staff have created a wonderful smile for myself and my teenage son. He just got his braces off today. Don’t have his pictures to share his results yet. So happy with our experience with Dr. Gust. I do like that it doesn’t require monthly appointments but rather you wait 7-8 weeks between appointments. Also offers family discounts for multiple and appointments are always efficient and on time. Thanks for the great care! See you when the next child is ready for braces!

Extremely disappointed. Painful, careless, and horrible attitudes. I recently had a procedure done, and was told that it would be painless. While the procedure was going on I had repeatedly told them to stop because it hurt. I also told them that I was not intending to stop the entire procedure, just to take a breather. Their response to my request was infuriating. They proceeded to tell me that my pain was invalid and that it wasnt hurting. I have a fairly High pain tolerance, so I only spoke up when it became unbearable. Next, whenever I have just appointments or stuff like that theyre extremely careless and half of the time do not even look where they are using the utensils. I have repeatedly been scratched in the inside of my mouth because of them. They are very unclear about payments, and are not very polite at the front desk. Would not recommend and have heard similar experiences to others whom I know. Save yourself the hassle and find a different orthodontist.

We are very happy with our experience with Dr. Gust! He and his assistants were always friendly and helpful. They made sure that my sons teeth were perfectly straight before removing the braces. I would recommend them to anyone.

Highly disappointed with my service. Ive had two emergencies with my braces and my calls were never returned. Ive had my appointments canceled and moved around more than 3 times, and was only notified via US mail. I went more than 5 months without the doctor checking in on my progress because of this.The worst part... Before I got my braces on, I asked about the process of getting them temporarily removed for my wedding. I was told they could do it with no problem, so I selected Gust Ortho. When I called to schedule the removal for my wedding, they informed me it would cost $600 extra. I am getting my braces removed and stopping treatment with this office.

Phenomenal experience and team! Dr. Gust and his staff made my daughters experience easy, enjoyable, and (mostlypain-free. Check-in is simple & quick, the waiting time is minimal, and the kids dont dread going. Their service is outstanding and are more than willing to work you in if there is a problem. We would definitely take another child there!

Dr. Gust and his team are top notch. They care about their clients and go out of their way to make sure that everyone has the best experience possible. From the video games in the kids waiting area to the warm reception staff, the overall experience at Gust Orthodontics is 5 Star! I would Highly recommend them!
