We had such a good time here and enjoyed our stay very much! The area is huge and made with so many details and so much love. All the wonderful plants and flowers are wonderful and if you like photography you can spend even more time here. For me as an European the themed gardens were also very cute. You definitely could tell which country they tried to represent without reading the sign.We would definitely come back when we go to Suncheon again!
Beautiful garden
Huge garden with many sections each dedicated to a country. I prefer the areas not dedicated to a particular country. I wish each section is bigger and there are less sections. The garden shares the same ticket as the wetlands and there is a transport system between them.
What a beautiful experience! The park covers a very large area and youd definitely need a full day to see and appreciate every different garden and site.It might be wiser to go earlier in the blooming season rather than late August/September.Loads of photo ops placed for visitors.Easy access to amenities and snack stands. If youre in or near Suncheon I would highly recommend a visit.
always nice to walk here~.today took a "cube" (cabel carenjoyed the ride from garden to bay. get 1 ticket for both places suncheon bay~suncheon garden 😀 so dont through the ticket away^^comfortable to walk with strollers .
My Perfect Visit to Suncheon Bay National GardenId like to share my good experience of visiting Suncheon Bay National Garden. It is located in Suncheon.First, it is open 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. And admission fees vary by age.It is 8,000 won for adults, 6,000 won for teenagers, and 4,000 won for children.Second I tell you some places in Suncheon Bay National Garden that I was impressed with. I saw the gardens of many countries in Suncheon Bay National Garden. Among them, I was impressed by the Dutch garden because there are tulips and windmill, so it is very beautiful. And I went to the Suncheon Bay WWT Wetland. I saw various birds and aquatic plants here, and it was interesting because there were birds and aquatic plants that I saw for the first time.Third, I talk about Sky Cube.Sky Cube is a train that connects Suncheon Bay National Garden and Suncheon Bay Wetland.I have ridden it and it was really fun. If I go to Suncheon Bay Garden next time, I will definitely ride it.Finally, I strongly recommend a visit to Suncheon Bay National Garden. If you dont go there, youll really regret it.
My visit to sunchen National garden. It is located near Gwangyang. So you can get there by bus. This place is beautifully decorated with grasses and flowers. And there are many places to take pictures and they come out pretty. Especially, I remember the field of reeds and pink muley. Also, It is fun to go around here because there are themes by country. But it was hard for me to keep walking in a big place. The admission fee is 6000won for student. But Sunchen citizens are 1500 won. If you have friends in Sunchen, it is better to get help.If you go to this place, you may be healed by nature. Just like I did. I recommend you to visit this place at least once.
I love this place , yesterday i go and pay for ticket 8,000 won that its good price . Now Tulip so beautiful. enjoy and good day 🌷🌼🌸🇰🇷
Incredibly large. Maintained quite nicely. All the shops were closed though, and I was there at 2 pm. Crowded with lots of people at the entrance/exit. Be mindful that the whole place is a photo opportunity. Definitely bring a bottle of water.
Words cant express how magnificent this area is. Definitely one of the best tourists attraction in Korea. The Suncheonman wetland and this Bay Natl garden is a must-visit place. Photo I attached isnt a great example of it. If you are planning to visit this place, find see some great photos others share and they are exactly waht you can see here.
They turned off the lights in this area around 640 we freaked out.
Well taken care off. Love the country themed gardens aswell. My favorite season to visit this garden is during fall, love the natural hues that come from trees loosing their leaves and changing colours. A must visit when you’re in Suncheon.
Suncheonman National Garden has many flowers. There, you can see various flowers of each country in each section.I think, theres good to go with family or friends. I recommend enjoying yourtime leisurvely in Suncheonman National Garden because there is large in area
Worth a visit if youre in the Yeosu- Suncheon area. Would be better in spring when everything is blooming
The Suncheon Bay National Garden is beautiful and worth a visit. Make sure to see both the east and west sides, and also the Suncheon Bay Wetlands. I have an annual pass so I go there often. Suncheon residents can get an annual pass for only 10000 won.
Very nice place. I recommend it
The best parking lot is the East parking lot. It is a very huge place it takes at least half day to a full day to discover this place, they show the difference between many countries gardens. A well maintain garden.
Best place to visit during spring season.
The Sunchein Bay National Gardens is well worth seeing. You could easily spend all day there but you can see most of the gardens in four hours. There are sample gardens from selected countries. Visit the Korean Gardens, it is longer walk but the garden is nice and there are great photo opportunities of the city from the Korean gardens.
This place is a very unique one, National Garden, perhaps one and only in Korea. It takes about 3 to 4 hours of driving from Seoul but it is worhty visiting if you plan to explore the south of South Korea.
Love the different gardens representing all the countries!
Huge and has variety of sceneries. Take a whole day to explore both east and west gate.
This is a very well designed and comfortable man made garden with variety of flowers display. Compare to the nearby, SunCheon Wetland, this is a more tailored made human gardening, mostly likely in the Flora expo. However, still a very good try, if you would like to experience of different gardening and flowers.
Best place to visit in Korea. I’ve been here during the summer in the past and this time, during the winter. It is a gorgeous place to visit regardless of season
We enjoyed our time here eventhough it was a very hot and humid day. The rotating tree was interesting. They have a restaurant that serves a limited variety of dishes but its great food. Theres also a small convenience store inside the restaurant behind the cashier. My kids enjoyed the small zoo and the kids water area. I would have enjoyed it better with milder weather.
Amazing place, very very large area to walk and see stunning gardens from all over the world. The South African garden was very disappointing. Definitely take the monorail out to the wetlands, its well worth it.
Nice place for refreshments with kids.
Very huge place. It was good yet I didnt expect much. Full of activities and nature you will love but parking was awful. Youd better study the map ahead of time so that you wont get lost. Lol
One of the best gardens in Korea
Suncheon Bay National Garden is a great place to go to enjoy different kinds of theme gardens, and enjoy nature in a curated way! There are so many different kinds of beauty from traditional Korean style gardens, to French to Chinese gardens with seasonal flowers. You can spend hours walking around, relaxing and taking the most gorgeous photos. There are also places to buy snacks and to eat! My favorite part of the National Garden is the Oriental Healing center where you can have a herbal foot bath and have a consultation with a Korean herbal practitioner about your bodys conditions. This is a great wellness travel destination in Korea. #WellnessTourismKorea#한국웰니스관광#KTO #KoreaTourism #KoreaTravel #KoreaTour
Wonderful place to visit!
Nice place to go and spending time with family and friends.. Lot of walking and sections to be seen, but the beauty of the place, the flowers, the water, and greenery makes it a perfect choice to spend the day, take a lot of pictures, and lose some calories. Toy trains/buses are also available if you dont want to walk... A must go if you can.
Large area and many theme gardens to enjoy. There are also enough places to relax with sitting on. Especially seasonal flower fields are wonderful.
Good place for a walk. Its entrance fee is ₩8,000 (=about $7)
This place is really big and awesome! This man-made garden is seriously worth to visit. Aside from the amazing views of the garden, they also have a lot of food, souvenir and art shops. Here you can buy healthy food products and different kinds of souvenirs. They also have activities where you can experience playing korean traditional games and making soaps and scents. If you really wanted to go to a place to relax and unwind this place is a good choice!
Perfect place for a good sunday walk. You can enjoy the different gardens (French, Chinese...). Beautiful viewa ! Dont miss the Oriental Medicine Center where you can make soap and incense pouches. On your way out go by the local food shop to get great finds from the area.
This garden is the largest man-madeconservation area in Korea. With lots of nature and nice architecture, an opportunity to take lots of beautiful picture. This place also offers many activity programs related to nature and health. Would recommend spending a day here so as to completely visit all the locations as it is really huge.
Its so beautiful in autumn, so romantic under the warm sun light. You can see flowers blossom garden, red and yellow tree lines, french garden, chinese garden here. The garden is really large.Morever, you can playing korean traditional game, experience making oriental medicine soap and incense pouch, flower tea and korean bread that is served with tea.If you come here, dont forget check out the local market near the parking. You can find good local foods with good price here.
Jewel of Jeollanamdo. Combination of natural and constructed landscapes. Great place for walk. It is huge so it takes a whole day to walk around the garden. If you dont like to walk, dont worry. There is a tram cars, but you cant get off till the end of riding.Lovely park with many mini themed gardens and plenty of photogenic installations. Good scenografie. Just asking to be photographed and instagrammed. Instagramable spot almost everywhere. The interesting thing about the park is the philosophy behind the walking trails that never meet each other when you walk up and down.I visited during winter, it’s so windy yet freezing. Personally it is best if you visit in Spring. As you’d have to walk for few hours, Wear a good pair of walking shoes, and drink lots of water to refresh yourself.Alternatively, there are a few cafes including Angel-in-Us Cafe where you can refresh yourself. And many public toilets too.
The garden is so beautiful! Unfortunately, we came there in summer, when the thematic park is closed. You should pay for 8,000 won and you can spend whole day there. You can even go picnic, since the scenery is perfect!
Beautiful garden you can enjoy whole day.Never take the sky taxi. Nothing to see. Waste of money!!
One of the most beautiful gardens I have ever been. Very nice and super relaxing place, good for anyone, old, young, children
You can spend all day walking around here, but try to avoid visiting during winter or when its windy. A lot of the overseas gardens are missing a couple of crucial elements. The food court nearby is ok, but its overpriced for what they serve. Overall this place just doesnt have that botanic vibe youd find in other gardens around the world. It lacks creativity, freedom and feels too artificial. It would really benefit the organisers if they invested in permaculture for the gardens.
East and west side. Really really nice. See it for yourself.
Suncheon Garden is definitely a place to visit during late spring and early summer. The sight is beautiful and the air is very clean. There are also a lot of types of flowers to be seen.
Has themed gardens of many countries . So its like visiting gardens from around the world!
There is seldom to see in winter...cause most plants in the garden are withered. In winter there is the light show after 5 pm. Its okay though....
Incredibly beautiful and a great place to lose yourself for a few hours. On the east side of the Dream Bridge there is a monorail that will take you away to the Ecological Zone.
Great park. The climb up to the observatory is well worth the effort. Suitable for the old and the young
Impressive! Many places to go and see. Its far from Busan and Geoje, but 2 hours way are absolutely worth it! Use a map, and dont forget about hat/sunglasses and sun block!
