Stick with the standard fried chicken.The other items are ok, but their fried chicken is the main attraction.

NOT the people doing the work. So since Ive worked in restaurants, I refuse to go there now because of that SLEAZY practice, I also reccomend not putting money in the tip jar.

Halal ribs..😃 I never thought it existed I had them at 2am cuz I didnt wanna miss them .almost killed me but it was worth it.

I love halal crown fried every time I go there between 10pm until closing my food is always how I ask for it! I love the night crew however the early crew suck they always mess up my order.. night crew continue to be great yall at the best thanks!

I ordered the chicken over rice; previous times it wasn’t that great, decided to give it one last try to see if they improved - not a chance. Even asked them to make it extra well done in the DoorDash special instructions. The meat tasted bad and undercooked, and had a funny aftertaste to it. I couldn’t even finish the plate. I’m not sure what the problem is but they need to improve. Needless to say I went to the bathroom right away. I will not be ordering from here again.

I’m surprised to see so many negative reviews because I seriously love this place. I’m assuming it’s the owner who I always had my encounter with and he was always beyond pleasant! There’s nothing wrong with the food, it’s the same stuff any crown fried has and it’s good! I like how they stay open late also. I wouldn’t knock it til you try it or maybe give a second chance because it’s honestly a decent little shop with some juicy chicken!!

Good Chicken wings, large menu, open late, and very friendly. Sometimes long wait times.

This place of food is really disgusting, the greasy and raw food especially the chicken dripping blood inside and the one used after mopping the floor washes the dirty mop in the sink where they wash the dishes and vegetables and to top it all it throws all the dirty water on top of the plates and utensils they use to make food in said restaurant.

The gentleman at the register barley listened to my order and after repeating it 3 times the order was still incorrect. I dont recommend. Recommend the Crown fried in Nanticoke.

Got a gyro here, for the price it was very small. Didnt try the chicken, but I would go else for gyros.

They slow, otherwise all the food I got was good so far.

They put what they want on your food Ordered a cheesecake salt pepper ketchup and sweet peppers and they put fried onions

Tip.. when you have tenders for a 5 tender order. Toss the two back in the fryer. No no no. Burnt to crisp.. front of house polite. But what the heck. Pride

Best chicken shake on this side of PA fresh food and great workers compared to the other chicken shake on main street

For starters the employees are grumpy and they have the worst customer service. They would ask you about your religion before serving you certain foods because its not halal and they wont serve it to you if you are mualim i dont understand how its any of their business. They take for ever to make your food. they wont pick up the phone and if they did they still wont take pick up orders which means your stuck waiting there for at least 15-20 mins for food to be prepared if you are ordering anything besides chicken. Will not be visiting again im going back to the old one on s main. Much better service and very friendly people.

Mixed lamb and chicken over rice is just like Im used to back home , not to mention the fresh salad that comes with it. Job well done guys

Accidentally stumbled on this place while looking for the King of Kings Gyros new location. When I arrived, the previous customer had just left the store. To me, this suggested that orders are usually done in a timely manner (or that the store is not doing that well). But I soon found out that I was wrong. So I ordered a chicken gyro combo, and had to wait nearly 20 minutes. 20 minutes, for a gyro? With no other apparent orders? About four to five customers also walked in over the course of these twenty minutes, including one DoorDash driver who had arrived about five minutes after I did. He was still waiting by the time I got my food and left. I ended up paying $9 for a chicken gyro combo (fries and a can of soda), with $1 of that being charged because I used a card. All things considered, the pricing isnt too bad if you pay in cash. And paying in cash during a pandemic is just unhygienic.But speaking of unhygienic, the man I ordered my food from did not wear a mask, and very clearly did not care about customers wearing masks. Curiously enough, some of the other staff were wearing masks in an appropriate manner. Several other customers also walked in with varying levels of mask compliance, ranging from not wearing them properly to removing them entirely to place an order to the same man I had ordered from. There was also only one pen used for signing receipts, and no hand sanitizer available. Clearly, this business does not take COVID-19 seriously, despite the near-400k Americans that have perished.At any rate, I realized that I was in the wrong establishment about halfway into my order. But instead of leaving, I decided to stick it out and pay for the order. I then went next door to the King of Kings Gyros location and ordered their regular gyro for $9, which was a direct improvement in every way.I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. At least Crown Fried has decent enough fries, I guess.

Love it ever since they open I stop going to the other one on S main st. I recommend always calling in to place your order, no matter what time of the day they’re always busy, get ahead of the crowd.

Scary at night but have such a huge selection and great place to go for drunk food at 2 am being they r open till 3 an this one tens times better than the one in south main St by the post office that one is terrible must be different owners very clean

I had no idea they changed to this crown fried stuff even though online it says they still sell Chinese when I call they tell me its not golden palace anymore and hang up the phone what kind of service is that? I get it but at least explain to people really quickly about the change so guess Im never eating here since they care more about names than customers

I always loved this place over any other. However recently the egg rolls have changed and not for the better. The taste is terrible and they are so salty they are inedible. When I called to just address my concerns they told me to “try them even though they don’t look great they are delicious.” Not a great selling point and when I said I did try them and I had to throw them in the trash they said the started buying new ones. They should just go back.

The worst food I’ve ever had. I got 3 shrimp for $10 and rice had no taste at all. Instead of a lobster sauce they gave me some mushy soup or whatever it was and it had no taste as well.

I have been to this restaurant twice, it is lovely there. Now I order for delivery to my apartment. The food is amazing!! To anyone that loves Chinese food.......this is the place to go. Very friendly workers there!

If youre already on Public Square without time to go further and you really want Chinese food, theyll provide some. Its edible, not absolutely terrible, and theyve handled my food allergy successfully. If a coworker is bringing back takeout, Ill occasionally add my own lunch to the list.But there is MUCH better Chinese food in the area (Ho Yi, Peking Chefif you have a choice. Or, just get Thai or Mexican instead; both Thai Thai and El Zócalo are within two blocks of this location, and both excellent.

This place is so DAMN expensive and cheap. On the menu they tell you after $30 you get free food or a 2 liter pepsi but everytime I asked them for it they tell you , you need to purchase something else. The service sucks . Go somewhere else for chinese food .

Cheap lunch specials. We waited only 5 minutes for our food. This place is a sit down or take out with a pretty basic dining room, NOT a buffet. Food was good with large portions.

I recommend noone buys from this chinse resturant very poor CUSTOMER SERVICE and i brought. Chickenwings and french fries for my children over 20.00 order and they have the nerver to say i had to pay for the KETCHUP... UNBELIEVABLE!! And i refused... Ladies and gentleman i thought if u purcase french fries with your order the katch up would be free correct??? So my children had no katch up with there french fries and at the end of the day we work hard as parents for our children... So please dont support this chinese resturant there are others... I use to order food all the time but i will never order from this place again. First of all they take more then half an hour to deliver the food. Now they want to charge you for tartar sauce when they use to give it for free. They say a minimum of $10.00 on the menu and my order was 12.00 and they said i need to order more when i live 5minutes away. Also on the menu it saids i can get a free soda with a purchase of $10.00 and they never give it to you they over price the food too so ill definitely go else where.
