Happy Joe's Pizza in Linn County

Havent had pizza from here in years. The prices are ridiculous! $29 for a large taco.....that was burnt on the bottom, dry as a bone, and the chips on it were 2 weeks stale atleast! Never again

I haven’t had happy joes in forever it seems. I was passing through and gave them a call. They delivered hot and perfect. Exactly like I had it years ago. Totally hit the spot. Thanks for delivering to the random non address to the black Harley Davidson semi from out of town. I’m so happy now.

My favorite chain pizza place.

Pizza was delicious, but the prices are ridiculous. There were coupons I received credit for but only after having to ask. Regular Happy Joes coupons are not valid at Cedar Rapids locations. You have to go-to happyjoescr.com to get specials that have to be ordered online for coupon credit. To me, far to much trouble to get to get a discount. I ordered 1 large and 2 mediums and it was 72.00. A bit steep in my opinion.

I absolutely love Happy Joes on Williams Blvd!! Their pizza brings back my childhood and makes my heart very happy!! My Daughter and her family also love it!! Amazing pizza!!

Sad to say I enjoyed 80% of the pizza was enjoyed until an extremely moldy chunk of lettuce was discovered.

Ordered taco pizza the other nite 31$..cheesy bread was good taco pizza was burnt on edges no tomatoes ..didnt look like taco..just chips on top...we ate 3 little pieces n threw out what a waste of money...never again ..Horrible..

I dont live in the Happy Joes service area anymore so I wanted to have a taco pizza like I remembered from over 20 years ago. It didnt disappoint, was expensive but good.

Monday & Tuesdays makes there expensive pizza more affordable with there $15.00 up to 3 toppings LG pizza. They make an awesome tasting pizza every time.

Worst ever. Crust was burnt. Order was wrong.

Called tonight at 7:45 and they said they were closed. I replied, I thought you took orders until 8. He said they were already cleaning up the kitchen. Happened last time we called at 7:55 and they said they were already closed. So exactly when do you stop taking orders? Need to post that!! We normally order a 2-3 times a month. Frustrating!!

More like "Average Joe" Pizza. My aunt was going to make an order online at the Cedar Rapids location. It was before 8pm, around 7:30pm. They said they arent taking orders since they close at 8. So she called to have them cancel her online order. They said they took care of it but they did not because the next day, they delievered it to us and charged her $64 for 1 taco supreme, 1 pepperoni pizza, and 1 order of cheese sticks. Also I had heard Happy Joes was good. It was not. The pizza is as greasy as Pizza Huts(but Pizza Hut tastes better), nothing special about it. Save yourself the money and get pizza somewhere else cheaper. They charge too much for just "average Joe" pizza you can get anywhere else for less money. Not ordering again.

If you stop taking orders at 7:45 you should say closed at 7:45 not 8.

We phoned our order in. 1 pizza and order of chicken wings. They said it would be 25 minutes. Went to pick it up and after another 25 minutes. 50 in all when they brought out another order. I asked about our order and was told the wings were made wrong and it would be another 3 minutes which turned out to be 15 the pizza was in a warmer the whole time. No apologies or coupons or anything was offered. Bad customer service. Will not go back

For the exorbitant price they charge for pizza, you should get what you pay for. My taco pizza came with no taco toppings. Quite stunning I must say. I checked the receipt and it said taco. $23 for a bean sauce and rock hard beef and sausage pizza. Check your pizza when you buy it. Better yet, save the frustration and find a better pizza place.

First time giving their pizza and services a try. Got the wrong size soda delivered, and a costly taco supreme pizza that was burnt on the bottom. It should be called, "Scamming Joes Pizza!" $30.80. Hope they enjoy it! I wont be back!

I used to love this. The crust has changed I dont know when the crest changed for sure but it changed. It is not very good.

Take chorizo off your online menu if you dont carry it and dont charged an online delivery order if you dont start delivering for another 2 hours. Who doesnt deliver pizza till 4pm??

Some people think the pizzas better but their wings are phenomenal!!!

Was told after a previous order I would have a credit, it wasnt there the next time I ordered and the manager did a good job of taking care of it. There pizza is our favorite!!

I come to Cedar Rapids to deliver to our customer and sometimes I get stuck overnight here. I usually order Godfathers as I like a good taco pizza. On a whim I tried Happy Joes and must say this is my new Cedar Rapids taco pizza spot! Great taco pizza and the deliver driver was right on time, neat and very well mannered. He even went out of his way and bring me some plates...very cool. I would recommend this place and I will be ordering here next time Im in town.

I grew up with original Happy Joes pizza in Dubuque and this is NOT Happy Joes pizza. Happy Joes should take away their franchise rights.First we paid for extra cheese and they have no concept of what that means. If this is "extra" then they are not using Happy Joes standard.Second, we ordered original crust and I swear this is the same as the Chicago Prime crust only rolled thinner. This was not the original crust I get in Dubuque. It is not crunch at all, just bready. Also we ordered sausage and it came with the Chicago Prime sausage which is not the sausage that should go on the original pizza. I do not like Chicago Prime sausage so if I would have known this, I would not have ordered it. Also, they only have fresh mushrooms where I have always gotten canned mushrooms at the original Happy Joes.On a scale of Happy Joes pizza I would give this a 2 out of 10. On a scale of any pizza, I would put this just below Dominos.NEVER AGAIN. SO SAD!Please dont judge all Happy Joes pizza on this!

We spent over $60 DOLLARS on pizza last night, three MEDIUM pizzas to be exact, and we were so disappointed. This is nothing like the Happy Joes I remember and we definitely will not be wasting our money there again. I mean, think about it, we could have gone to an upscale restaurant for the same price! Dry beef and no BBQ sauce on the BBQ beef, stale chips on the taco. Gross!

Took 1.5Hours to finally get my pizza after having to call in to see if they lost my order. Once pizza finally arrived the Pizza was lukewarm Cheese was already coagulated. One bite pulled the whole hunk of cheese off on the slice. The Cheese Stix I ordered were cold and the cheese was solid like taking it out of the Refrigerator.Happy Joes has some of the most expensive pizza I have seen and in all they have been the worst experience in pizza I have had since living here.

Literally the WORST pizza Ive ever had! WAYYYY too expensive for the quality! We ordered two medium pizzas (one with ONLY cheese and one with four toppingsand a cheese bread and it costs $46! Not only was the food very expensive, by the time it got to us it was no longer warm and the cheese wasnt warm and gooey like it should be, instead it was tough as if it had been sitting under a warmer and very greasy. I will NEVER order from any Happy Joes again, and I certainly would not recommend this establishment to anyone. STAY AWAY!
