Harless and Associates in Palm Beach County

I recently had a bad experience with this group. I received a letter from the IRS that I was missing a significant portion of income from my 2017 tax return which resulted in potentially me owing an additional $20k in taxes. Harless did my taxes that year and even though they also did the taxes for my company, they left out the 1099 in my personal tax return. When I asked them about this their response was its not their responsibility even though they did ALL of my taxes. If that wasnt enough, I needed a document from my 2017 tax return for my refiling that my new accountant was completing. THEY CHARGED ME $75 to simply send me this document. While my new accountant was reviewing the tax return that Harless did for 2017, he also found other mistakes. So in summary, Harless made several material mistakes on my 2017 tax return, refused to accept responsibility for them, then charged me $75 to receive a document that they had on file. I spoke with Caroline who is a partner and she was equally as useless as the person who did my taxes. Bottom line is stay far away from this company.
