From the 1st email requesting additional information to the guidance provided for council approval these guys were absolutely amazing to deal with. Tiarna in the display room was pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable with all products and helped me select the correct heater for our home (Prime 200c). In addition, the final quote was at least $500 - $700 cheaper than others. The gentleman from DE & ME McCrae installed the heater without fuss and left the house in a clean & tidy manner. Great products and fantastic service!I will highly recommend Hawkesbury Heating to friends & colleagues!
Our Product is not been working from Day 1, Have been chasing your company but still getting a standard reply.It has already been few months and still there is no confirmation on fixing the newly installed product. Continuous follow-ups, time and money spent on a product which is faulty from day 1.Very bad customer service, where no one have ever visited in months and checked where the issue is.Hopefully other customers shouldn’t go through this experience.

Weve ordered several items through this company over the last few years, including parts for our fireplace which is now no longer on the market. Always extremely prompt in responding to our queries and orders, and will bend over backwards to help. Strongly recommend.
Not happy at all with Hawkesbury heating.More than happy to take your money. The owner of the business tells you one price then a daughter tells you another more expensive price.Got the fireplace installed came home to a crate and 2 big cardboard boxes with the installers rubbish sitting inside the box to dispose of myself. Being an installer myself I would never leave any rubbish at anyones house. Called Hawkesbury heating to get a “oh well you need to call the installer” reply. Not only that, I look in my backyard and there’s roof trimmings on the floor along with sarking and insulation hasn’t even bothered to clean any mess up.Not happy at all and would not recommend.
I purchased a new fireplace and flue kit from Hawkesbury Heating. They were very easy to deal with and the fireplace is fantastic.
These guys have been amazing to deal with. Not only am I stoked with my brand new Blaze wood fire place, but the price at Hawkesbury Heating was the best I could find between Wollongong, Sydney and Newcastle. Great products and fantastic service! Won’t go anywhere else!

A great experience from start to finish. Tiana and the team looked after us and were efficient, responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. We talked with a few companies during our research and Hawkesbury Heating were by far the best. With the help of their expert team we decided on the Lopi 6015HOGS2 with drift wood. Their installer Steve was an absolute joy to work with. He was so professional, meticulous and knowledgeable. A brilliant craftsman. Were thrilled with the result and would recommend Steve and Hawkesbury Heating to anyone who likes working with real professionals who know their stuff.
Dont normally give reviews but I felt that one was needed.Purchased a Eureka Ruby and found the shop staff to be extremely helpful and nothing was an issue.It was installed yesterday and I must say the installers Matt & Mitch were a real pleasure to deal with. You can see that they know their craft well.Our install was made slightly more difficult as the previous owners had a love affair with SILICONE, it was everywhere.Matt spent extra time carefully extracting the Swiss Style Tiles from the silicone correcting the previous mess.Cant be more pleased with the whole process and team.
Excellent customer service from David at Hawkesbury Heating. I called to see if they could assist with a new Eureka Nugget wood heater to replace my very old unit. David was helpful and friendly and within half an hour of sending my details and a couple of pics of existing unit, a new one had been ordered, approximate supply timing advised, deposit paid and installation cost advised. I was stoked!Great customer service continued throughout the process with the HH team keeping me informed of delivery and installation timing. Daryl the installer was outstanding .. very knowledgeable and helpful and a really nice guy as well. Thanks Hawkesbury Heating .. Im loving my new Nugget!
David at this Hawkesbury Heating store has a sense of wit, full of various product knowledge, and a number of customer case studies that help a lot me consider choosing the right fireplace solution.The best customer service from him will be never missed as long as customers are prepared for answers from him - what size and type of flames, wall, heating methods(ie, additional either front vent or side vents is preferred)Definitely recommended!
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I Originally purchased an Escea fireplace / BBQ from these guys and the Escea unit is awesome, the service from the old male owner is atrocious. Several times I had to call following up on issues and he basically told me it was my fault each time. I ended up dealing with Escea direct so as not to deal with that guy. Better to find another place to give your money for Escea fire places. Originally gave this 2 stars.UPDATE: I was contacted by Tiarna from Hawksbury heating after writing this review. Tiarna informed me that David was not the owner and she took the time to listen to the issues that I had and was very genuine in offering her apologies for the experience I had.Tiarna went further in offering some compensation for some of the extra time and money that I spent dealing with the issues which I was not expecting but very grateful for.Ultimately, I judge a business not just for its ability to deliver what is promised, but if something goes wrong, the ability for that business to make amends. Tiarna certainly did that and she is an asset to Hawksbury Heating. If I had dealt with her from the beginning, no doubt this would have been 5 stars from the beginning.
David and his company were very helpful, professional and knowledgeable in helping me choose our new webber genesis bbq. Delivery was on time, communications were very clear and bbq is great as promised. I was very happy dealing with David as he was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend him and his services.
Tiarna is wonderful to deal with. She was very helpful and took her time to share her knowledge of heaters to us despite the shop being very busy. She provided us with a very competitive and reasonable price for a top quality wood fire heater. We also met the founder of the company - Jim, who happened to be Tiarna’s grandfather.. Jim shared a few yarns of his incredible life. It was an absolute pleasure to deal with a genuine family business who were more concerned about providing a quality product instead of looking to make a buck. I couldn’t recommend this business anymore highly. I shopped around for a wood fire heater and purchased it from Hawkesbury Heating due to their product, pricing and excellent service.
Friendly, knowledgeable service and great local contacts all combine to make this business really great. Id go 5 stars, but I only got the hearth, flues and fittings here, so I cant comment on price for heaters. The showroom has a great spread of good quality wood heaters, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff, even after they knew I was getting the big money item elsewhere.
Had a heater installed today by Matt Lowe and his apprentice SamuelThis is my second heater from Hawkesbury.Can’t speak highly enough of them .Got here on time . Got the job done and took care of my place and cleaned up after themselves.Heater looks awesome .Everything is square and fits properly ..... what a nice change .Professional and went above and beyond my expectations.Would highly recommend Hawkesbury heating and make sure you get Matt on the job to get it installed 👍👍

I requested 3 quotes from 3 different companies for my Escea fireplace I heard back from Hawkesbury Heating the next day with a detailed quote and excellent price. I didn’t hear back from the other 2. The service and efficiency was wonderful and Steve the installer fabulous. I highly recommend this company and I am so thankful and loving my fire.

My parents old Lopi wood fireplace broke After about 45 years of use and I told them to go to Hawkesbury Heating in North Richmond as I know George the owner, as we have bought quite a few things from his Stihl shop and he is so wonderful and helpful. So they bought a Eureka Ruby freestanding fireplace from him and delivered it this morning.Mum and Dad are in their 80s and it has been freezing cold up here in the Blue Mountains I have been so worried about them freezing to death So we were really excited about them getting the stove put in today, but when the guy turned up to put it in Daryl was his name and a really nice guy, he had bought the wrong flu to fit the very old chimney and dad was very disappointed that he thought it wouldn’t go in today and they would freeze again tonight.So I phoned George and told him I was so worried about my parents situation and George was so amazing he sent one of his guys up immediately with the right flu and parts and before we knew it the whole Eureka Ruby was installed so fast, such a brilliant job the guys were just wonderful I cannot thank George enough and Daryl the installer what an amazing job totally cleaned up after as well, it’s taken a huge worry off my shoulders and mum and dads too, George has a customer for life, his help in this situation was so wonderful I cannot sing his praises enough! This is a photo of Daryl lighting it up for the first time, we are so excited and happy!
Would have to be the worst customer service experiences of my life.Nice as pie when selling you a product. But thats where it ends. Myself and my wife have both made numerous phone calls to confirm install date and time with no solid answer to the point I had to visit the store to get an answer. Then the morning of planned install after driving over an hour back home from work I get a phone call from Tina saying the fire place has not even arrived at the store yet, so in affect I lost 2days off work by the time I was put in.The other matter is the 2 speed fan that was on back order. We never got notified that the part had even arrived after 5weeks. So my wife then spent another 2weeks chasing this up with Tina with many phone calls and another visit to the store, we were promised returned phone calls that never happened and felt like we were being lied to.Very disappointed especially because we were trying to support local, but unfortunately I will never spend another dollar with them.Be warned people!
Extremely disappointed with the service received from Hawkesbury Heating.I purchased a $5,200 fireplace (excluding installon the 6th June 2020 with a scheduled install date of 30th June 2020, at the time of purchase we showed the salesperson, Tina, photos of our property and explained we had a steep driveway and steps leading up to the our house, and it was agreed that the job would require at least two installers and extra flue was to be brought along, which was quoted for and the job booked in.On the day of installation, only one installer turned up who was different to the one that had been booked at the time of purchase, frustratingly, it hadn’t been communicated to the installer that we had a steep driveway, stairs or to bring extra flue so was unable to complete the job.When I rang HH and spoke with the salesperson again, she explained that some jobs must have been swapped around and that she would call me back with a solution. After not hearing back from her all day with an update, I gave them a call before they closed only to be dismissed and told to be patient and that she would call be back before they close.After hearing nothing back that evening or the following morning, I gave them another call and spoke to the same person again, who informed me that it was possibly a 3 person job and they would have to re quote it - despite having given her all this information, accompanied by photos at the time of purchase. Due to this, a refund was requested with the salesperson telling me that “sometimes things don’t work out, but we tried and that’s all that matters”I had wanted to support a local family business, but after this experience I will be giving my custom elsewhere.

A very pleasant experience dealing with a local business. After shopping around for a new heater we decided to visit Hawkesbury heating. The person who we spoke to was not sure if we could achieve what we wanted so he arranged for an installer to visit and have a look. The installer Steve, confirmed that we could fit a heater in the restricted space we had and we arranged for the heater to be fitted. The service, delivery and fitting all went like clockwork and the finished product is excellent. I would like to thank the staff of Hawkesbury heating and the installer Steve for the great service and brilliant work carried out throughout the whole process. I would most definitely recommend Hawkesbury Heating to anybody looking to purchase a new heater.
Eureka!I would have no hesitation in recommending Hawkesbury Heating and their select installation team. After a minor hiccup the job was taken under George’s wing and guided through to completion. Many thanks to David for helping us choose the Eureka wood burning stove, to George for his good business management and especially to Matt Lowe and Mitch for their expert installation skills above and beyond the call of duty. Matt and Mitch were thorough with an attention to detail, widely experienced in installing wood burning stoves but also with an everyday thoughtfulness in tidying up thoroughly after the install. Matt was also kind enough to reinstall an unrelated roofing tile dislodged by a wayward possum the night before the install. All good, much appreciated.
Great local family company. We just purchased and installed a Coonara Settler c500 and couldnt be happier with the whole process. Tiarna and George were great to deal with and the installer Darryl did a fantastic job.
From the initial contact with Tiarna through to the installation by Sam we always felt that we were being looked after by professionals. After a poor customer experience with another heating supplier closer to where we live (in pricing and correspondenceI decided to explore other options for the purchase and installation of a replacement fireplace flue and I’m very glad that I did. The quote was half of the other supplier, the dealings with Tiarna were quick and friendly throughout and Sam (installerwas awesome despite it being a bit of a difficult fit. Thank you so much!
Horrible Warranty experience and bad customer service, the fan on our heater broke shortly after we bought it. Their installer/repairer constantly was a no show or didnt have the right parts. I went back to Hawkesbury Heating on several occasions to try and get the situation rectified with no luck....still waiting. I found their customer service so unprofessional that despite talking to them regularly, every time the sales person Tina still had to ask me for all my details and the whole story every single time!P.S In the response from the owner, they say that our heater was out of the warranty period this was incorrect as it stopped working within a month of purchase, so I dont understand Hawkesbury Heatings math. Under warranty obligations you are you required to repair the unit which you failed to do, therefore dragging on over 1 year+ over the install date. It is also up to you to ensure you have a qualified technician this is your responsibility not the consumers and to rectify the problem which you have failed to do. To your response regarding we didnt quote the name on the invoice this is incorrect, we did and also the invoice number every time! That is fairly bad customer service if you cant remember a customer that should be on your job sheet and that constantly calls you and has an ongoing problem. I think we need to discuss this with the Department of Fair Trading, as we still dont have a fan that works. Shame on you, Hawkesbury heating for trying to mask your response with in correct accounts.
The whole team was just wonderful, first they tried to replace parts on the spot and assisted me with replacing our fire place. Friendly and professional advise and very helpful, they managed to get our new fireplace installed the same afternoon! Life savers! Thanks so much again
I have found George at Hawkesbury Heating very courteous and professional when I bought my gas heater recently. The installers, Matt and Jayden, are excellent tradesmen. They are fastidious, friendly and clean up inside the house after the job is done.

We just had our Morso fire installed and I have to say Matt Lowe and his team of installers were exceptional. They went above and beyond to make sure the fire was installed exactly as we wanted it. Dave who sold us the fireplace was also a great help. I would recommend Hawkesbury Heating and would definitely use their services again.
From beginning to end this installation was a dream. I had the same gas fire installed by a competitor in a previous house and the difference in service was chalk and cheese. Came here with my Dad to help him choose a fire place. Found the one that we wanted salesperson/ owner quoted $1,200 for its installation up the North Coast which was expensive but I guess fair. We decided to have a coffee to think about it. Went back to the store to accept the offer. But was told no its so far we need an increased $1,500. Completely unprofessional and allowed a sale to walk given a self made mistake. These guys must own their premises for what I experienced was really really bad retail.

Matt Lowe and Jayden attended our place for a warranty repair for a cracked fireplace box. Not only did they replace the box, but installed a whole new fireplace. My husband and I decided to go to Hawkesbury heating to pick the perfect fireplace for our new home. Being from Goulburn and building in Crookwell, we looked locally and also in Canberra. After checking in several stores we were left even more confused on which one we should buy as it felt like every other store just wanted us to buy the more expensive option without really explaining the pros or cons.We were greeted by David, and after giving him some more information about where we are building and the size of our house he was able to point us in the right direction. Superb. Couldnt have hoped for better service. They have a huge range of heaters too. I love my newly installed heater. I am very happy with everything, from the minute I walked into the shop, right through to the seamless installation..... and I was even assisted with getting my first load of wood. Nothing was too much trouble. I knew very little when I started out, but all of my questions were answered and some great suggestions made to improve the positioning of my fireplace. We recently purchased the Masport F7000 Wood Fire Heater from Hawkesbury Heating and couldn’t be more delighted.From our initial enquiry with David we received professional assistance, with courtesy and good old fashioned respect. David seemed to know just what we needed to meet our specific floor plan layout and overall heating requirements. Extremely offhanded and rude. Customer service nonexistent. Went to purchase a $4500 heater and waited for 15 mins without even being approached. I approached the counter myself only to be treated in a very offhanded way. I asked for prices and they were written down on a post it note and handed to me without any comment. I thanked them and left deciding that it did not matter what the price was I would certainly not purchase anything from them.
Hawkesbury heating have wonderful customer service have been dealing with them for years.I purchased a heater last year and I must say I was very satisfied with my install. Matt installed my heater and was very helpful with all aspects of his job he was professional, he cleaned up and also split wood and started my heater to show me how to run it properly. I have no water leaks and would recommend Hawkesbury heating and the services of Matt to anyone. Thankyou for great experience.
