1650-52 Quezon Avenue Cor. Sgt. Esguerra St, Diliman, Quezon City, 1103 Metro Manila, Philippines, Eastern Manila District
Limited parking space. Discounted and affordable prices available. RDU is along Quezon Ave. After dropping the items, need to vacate the parking slot
Favorite place to shop. Clean and comfy.
My GoTo place for unique grocery items and a lot more...
Always, always great with a variety of grocery items at a much more valuable price compared to other groceries and supermarkets.
All hitop employyee are so friendly...
Excellent product spread. Courteous staff and security personnel. Accommodating baggers.
This is the reasonable place for all varieties. Liquor is cheaper here.
They have the freshest produce, and unique items, kind and helpful staff to boot.
Have lots of goods & stuff. Really love their On Sale area where they put products that are expiring within 2 or 3 mos, some even 1yr ahead. They dont mix them up like other marts do so you buy what you need & dont need to worry abt buying things that are expiring fast (of course, this is based on what I bought so best check out expiration date before buying anyway). The place itself is big but coz of the products on display, kind of crowded. But prices are more than fair. Service fast, salespeople & promodizers helpful, parking slots are limited but we were lucky.
Grocery items are priced lower compared to other supermarkets Ive been to. The people there are very helpful. Keep it up.
It wasnt nice. I felt that they are angry in my request to use my gcash vouchers regarding to my payment. I thought customers are always right.
It may look small and unassuming, but top two reasons why Hi-Top has stayed, I think: price and variety. How I would rank Hi-Top vs. the "big 3" groceries (SM, Robinsons, Landmark). In terms of price: 1Hi-Top (most reasonable), 2Landmark 3SM, 4Robinsons (most expensive). Try comparing how far your P3,000 will go in each. In terms of variety: 1Hi-Top (most brand choice offered/represented), 2Robinsons, 3Landmark, 4SM (selected brands only even in their hypermarkets. At least now they have Colgate-Palmolive products already. There was a long time when you can only buy Close Up at SM; no Colgate available). The staff are also helpful, and you get a peso back for every eco bag you use for your groceries. Parking may be a challenge during rush or peak grocery seasons but the guards are helpful and patient with customers.
Good deals. Few places where you can get legit chips ahoy.
Havent been there for a long period of time, it was nice got the chance to experience it again. 😊
Undeniably one of the most reliable and almost complete selection out of the groceries around the area. Parking can be a challenge but its less a problem now especially when they opened another parking lot beside them. A little updating would be nice.
Giod place to look for hard to find items in other supermarket. Cheap finds
Good price. Lots of brands to choose from. However, I never saw the push carts were ever sanitized. Unlike in Landmark, wherein they spray with a sanitizer and wipe the handle bars of the push cart before handing it to the customer.
Good place for Groceries, they also have this display for mark downs of assorted items. Also their pricing is very reasonable compared to the other big bgrands fo grocery and supermarket chains.
Hi-Top can be considered an institution in terms of grocery shopping. It has been around since I can remember. I love shopping there because of the cheap prices and wide variety of merchandise
My favorite grocery. Prices are soo much lower compared to other supermarkets. Never ko ipagpapalit. 😉
Prices of goods in this grocery remain to be reasonable. We were able to get everything we wanted and needed during this trip. There werent a lot of people when we came in, which is a good thing of course. As usual, we initially had trouble getting a parking space. We went around the block twice and thankfully, were able to get a slot on the second time. Would still highly recommend this grocery.
I love this place. It is an old school grocery but it is still relevant. It isnt that big but whatever you need, they have it here. :)
ProVery accomodating personnel, usually if you ask something, theyll answer, "its out of stock", but here, theyll help you find it.ConsCash register still using the manual input of prices per productCredit card users needs to transfer to another kiosk as cashier still using the old cash registerLimited spaces for car park, can accomodate around 20 or less vehiclesOnly two branches
Good selection at best prices. One of the best supermarkets for me. Love going to this place!
Still the one of the best for wide array of selections, and best prices.Downside is HiTop doesnt use bar codes for goods. So checking out is rather inefficient.
Needs serious renovations. Aisles are too cramped. 2 carts can hardly move side by side. Prices are high compared to most mainstream supermarkets like sm, pure gold, landmark. I think they are only cheaper than rustans which is already high end.
Glad to find paint, pad lock, latches in the hardware section 👍👍 my kind friendly grocery thats simple and find common items you need at home. Low price 😃
Great place to do your grocery.. lots of items on sale .. some items were at 50% off ... The staff here are polite and attentive.. there are parking spaces beside the Hi top Supermarket I think it can accommodate about 30-40 cars ...During our visit here.. we encountered some problems.. first the push cart here are difficult to maneuver.. narrow alleys.. Needs crowd control.. F.Y.I their receipt is very difficult to audit take a look at the pictures that I uploaded here .
Nothing changed after 5+ years except that everyones wearing mask and shield. Theyre still using the rotating entrance gate, promo items located on your right upon entering, running cockroach on your basket and cheapest price. There are few open counters and lots of talkative baggers staying on the closed counters but its fine as they work fast.
In my opinion, has the best prices in comparison to other supermarkets. Though, it can get a little bit crowded at times and they close earlier than the others (6pm).
Been shopping here for decades, and they never disappoint. Truly a great One Stop Shop. You can find everything you need from House Hold, Food & Drinks, Fresh Goods and Office Supplies. Good and helpful staff. Affordable prices with wide range of selection of local and imported brands.
Have been doing my grocery shopping here for decades. Recently, I was amazed by cashier Erma who went out of her way to replace a box of toothpaste that I dropped. Months ago, I thought I dropped a box of toothpaste in the parking area because I could not find it when I got home. Last week, I was checking out my groceries with Cashier Erma (most of the staff know me by face but not by name who remembered that I dropped a box of toothpaste on the floor on my way out. I didnt know why she was asking for a logbook and going through every page of the logbook while punching my groceries in until she finally sees what she was looking for on the logbook and asks me if I lost a box of toothpaste last time. Amazing because she cared enough to make sure I got the item back. Thats why I love Hi-Top.
People are in holiday rush! Love going to hitop because there’s a wide variety, prices are lower compared to most grocery stores and there’s always a promo. Parking could be tricky especially if you go on peak hours.
My fave supermarket. But I cannot find my favorite frozen brand of chicken (i was able to buy it once then when I return to buy again, it is not available any more ), n they always have so limited stock of my dark chocolate milk drink. Their price is the most reasonable of all supermarkets I go to. Brand will be disclosed when asked
Ample stocks at competitive prices. Parking is difficult as well as no social distancing protocol. For debit or credit card use, you are directed to a central location instead of the purchase being processed at the cashier. This means the whole checkout process is slowed.
Hi-Top supermarket is one of the few who always surprised me. They have a very low price compare to other supermarket.
Items are individually tagged (price tag), which makes it easy for the customer to check the price. Though an "old school" and time-consuming (for the staffmeans of tagging items, I, as a consumer, still prefer this over having to look for the item price on the shelf. The shelves are hardly ever empty, as the supermarket personnel are always around to refill the stocks as needed.
Variety is ok. Price wise is ok. Card terminal for payments, you need to go to the customer service for processing. Always check out the expiration dates as some items are near expiry.
If you want cheap priced groceries, youll like it here."With low prices comes low quality."Just make sure that you double check the products you are buying from damages. (Such as punctured and dented packaging). They also have a sale isle where you will see great finds! A chance for you to try new products at almost half the price. Just make sure you eat it right away. So if youre a smart buyer, you might want to do your groceries here.
I dont know but prices here are reasonable and way better than Savemore, Puregold and Robinsons. I just didnt like the way they manually encode the items price versus scanning the items barcode to register how much the item is. Anyway, their cashiers are fast and baggers are good-looking.
Been buying my groceries here for more than 3 decades & I still find it convenient & well organized. Prices are reasonable & the grocery is well stocked. Parking though especially during weekdays is quite hard.
Hi top Supermarket have been around since I was in high school 40 something years ago. I still see the lady behind the wholesale counter and she didnt seem to age much. The prices are still reasonable and the cashiers are always friendly. There are wide range of food and hardware items all in one roof . I just love going there.
Good price on every items. Lower than any other grocery stores in the area. Parking is available in the area. Just make sure to check the items thoroughly specially vegetables. Meat products are just the same as other grocery but way cheaper. It may just be crowded most of the time.
Products are cheaper than supermarkets and we often find ourselves scavenging goodies in the discounted section of the grocery. The grocery is a bit cramped and we had an experience where the cheese that we’re about to buy has molds on it. We only experienced it once so we might have been just unlucky that day. It’s a nice grocery but not for the “maarte.” :)
In the past, I always passed by this store but didnt really pay it any attention. But a friend recommend that I start shopping there and I did. I can safely say that my only regret is not doing all of my previous shopping here. To be frank it looks old and plain outside, but inside there is so much offered products that you will be overwhelmed at first, I still am today. They have your traditional grocery items, both local and foreign. However they also sell, things you wouldnt expect in a grocery store like inflatable boats, hardware store, and an pharmacy.
This is probably one of the best grocery in the Philippines. It has a wide array of items and the best thing is that the prices here are so much cheaper than other supermarket. Sometimes they even put good items in sale. Just take note that there are times when this place is so crowded hence the lines are pretty long when paying at the cashier.
Hi-top is a good place to go for cheap supermarket goods. It has a rather large parking space capable of fitting more than 10 cars.
Has relatively cheaper prices than other supermarts, but the receipt does not itemize the description of items clearly.
They always have items on sale just inside the store area. Free parking - this is one of the few remaining marts that offer free parking. The prices of most items are competitive when compared to other popular supermarkets in the area. Shelf lay-out is a little crowded perhap because they have to fit a lot of store items in a relatively small space compared to the other supermarket just on the other side of edsa.
It has loyal followings. Most days it is full of people. I love that they have weighing scale for people. They also put out priced-down goods that are nearing expiration. I dont mind buying some of them especially if i get to consume the entire product way way before its expiration date anyway. They always have a promo, too, You might just win a car for buying your groceries from here.
