Absolutely beautiful. We go all the time for sunset. But Ive also gone for the sunrise which is an amazing view.

A must stop when in the Worlds End State Park. Great view during any time of year but amazing in the fall when the leaves change color.

Such an awesome view!!! I dont see any season would be disappointing, but fall folliage is the best. Theres a bathroom facility, parking lot, picnic tables and grills to cook on (bring your own charcoal). Sunsets are breathtaking and you can see out for miles. Definitely a kid friendly area and not a dangerous overlook.

A more the 180 degree view of Sullivan county’s finest rolling mountains and valleys for miles. The faculty offers ample parking, a composting latrine, picnic tables and grill stands. Kiosk explains locations and geography. Beautiful sunsets and planetarium-like sky after sunset. The road is paved all way up and beautifully maintained by Pa Bureau of Forestry. A stone throws away from Worlds End State Park.

Beautiful, must see if in Sullivan county

Check out the clear sky chart for this place and go when there are clear night skies. Pavement means you’re not lying in the middle of a forest but still get the experience, as you will hear distant owls and even coyotes howling on occasion, but I’ve been here many times and have never felt unsafe, and besides ONE mosquito bite I have ever gotten in over a dozen excursions, I’ve never had an issue with insects. There is even a fairly well maintained bathroom (no running water though).

Simply the best overlook in the world. Breathtaking.
