Hill St Beans Cafe in Ku-ring-gai

2.5 out of 5 but closer to 3 than 2Coffee was good, marginally better than average. But when we ordered a take away 2nd coffee from our table they didnt tell us when it was ready, it sat in the take away area until we realized wed been waiting for a while.Food was very nice, but that was reflected in the price, and portion sizes were not what I would call generous. Im told the dog biscuits are delicious.It was a coldish day, and there was a fairly strong draft through the interior and no tables avoided it. I saw a few other people come in and look for a cosy spot to sit, but couldnt find one.

A great little cafe with excellent coffee and superb food. The bacon and egg roll is highly recommended as is the banh mi.Service is prompt even when quite busy and quality of the coffee is consistently very highDefinitely worthy of repeat business. Quite the gem of a venue.

Very nice coffee. They use Campos beans. I liked that they didnt serve the coffee too hot; its a drinkable temperature straight away. The baked goods look really nice, but I havent tried them yet.

Im a takeaway customer on my way to work. Best coffee, sour dough raisin toast and the vegemite toast is done to perfection.... not too much....just right. And they greet me by name when I walk in..... perfect start to my day. Thanks all at Hill St Beans Cafe.

Small place, the range of sweets and sandwiches is pretty limited. Sells gluten free, if you have a requirement. Campos coffee beans.
