They will not be getting my business anymore we called to check on availability of a part an the person that answered the phone told us to shut up as we was explaining the part that we needed…. We go into the store and was not greeted the guy that answered the phone that was at the desk was very rude we brought in our weedwacker to show them the part we needed he proceeded to take the air box off an didn’t have the right socket size an he literally threw the racket an socket an started to slammingthings an raising his voice when he went into the back looking for parts I hope nobody else has to deal with this problem this imployee should not be dealing with the public I will be contacting better business bureau

Helpful very knowledgeable and friendly

Ive been in the lawn care and landscaping business since 2006. There are different times when a small equipment problem such as a flat tire or some other minor issue will interrupt my day and its very important to me that I can get it fixed and get up and going again as quick as possible. Some other mower shops in the area seem to not even give me the time of day. All they tell me is "were three weeks out we cant look at it for 3 weeks." A small issue that may only take 15 minutes to repair, really, you cant get to it for 3 weeks? However Hilltop, is not like that. They have great customer service and when I need something done quickly they are very polite and they do it right away. I dont expect to be put to the front of the line with major issues that take hours and hours for repair but I appreciate their good customer service when I just need help so I can get back up and running in a timely manner. As far as Im concerned the other places have completely lost my interest, Im going to Hilltop. Thank you!

I didnt end up buying from Hilltop but it was closing time and the staff probably wanted to go home but stayed after to go over specs and explain everything I asked. I needed a lawn mower/ or zero turn. Im kind of glad I couldnt buy it....it really wasnt what I wanted. But as I said the staff was amazing...person to person is where its at....5 stars from me.

Freindly and knowledgeable staff. Ownership is usually in the building. Very hands on. Good selection of Stihl products. I have bought several chain saws ,mowers, and lawn trimmers as well as chains, blades and cutter string. Only place I will go for chain saws and Cut Cadet mowers.

Ive been going to Hilltop for years, always good service.

I spent almost $1000 to repair & tune up my mowers. They didnt even have the courtesy to put enough gas in my John Deer to get it off the trailer & up to the house. They said they replaced the tube in the tire which is still always flat. The first time I tried to use the John Deer the belts fell off. I managed after alot of struggling to get it back on. 2nd time I used the mower the same thing happened, the belts came off.

Always great service at Hilltop. Highly recommended for both professionals and homeowners.

Then coming here since my grandfather 1st brought me. This is where I bring all my stuff to be repaired. They are fast friendly And efficient

They said my snow blower would be repaired by the end of this week. It was! This is the place to do business. Friendly, down-home fchargeI had to take my snow blower back to have the carburator rebuilt. Since the admitted they missed that in my first visit, they didnt charge me labor. This is the best place to get repairs done. Honest family owned business.

When you need the right tools for the job on top of friendly and knowledgeable service Hilltop is the place to go. They have continued to go out of their way to help me out evrytime Im there weather it be for maintenance, emergency repairs for breakdowns or buying new equipment. I recommend to everyone i know and who asks where they should go.

Tryed 2 different Stihl saws, returned 1st. One. Not really happy with 2ndOne. Its back to a Husky for me.

Im a new Ohio resident and knew I would need a good mower. I selected Hilltop for two initial reasons (1they carry SCAG mowers and (2they are close to my new home. After arriving there, I narrowed the choice down to two, and within a few minutes was on my way to purchase my first SCAG. The assistance I needed was just right, not overly sales-focused. I was given enough information to make a good decision. I have since returned for a new chainsaw chain. Hilltop is a great place, they have all the Stihl and SCAG products I need. I will continue to use Hilltop to get the mower serviced right before Winter.

Dropped my mower there and am undecided till I pick it up whether theirvdiagnosis is correct. I will reserve further comment in detail till I get it and assess the issues they named for myself. In all likelihood, the spark plug does need replaced. The rest of the problems are a guess.Thwy do hit you for an exorbitant $44.00 exorbitant half hour diagnostics charge, regardless of time spent. I refuse to do that to my clients. They would all leave a and I am then out of business.It would seem the 3 year warranty on Cub Cadet equipment is an extremely limited arbitrary warranty per the choice of the dealer. At this point, I am not pleased with their diagnostics completely. I am more than sure they would be happy to charge me the diagnostic fee plus an hour labor minimum to put parts on which is more money and would total out nearly a $200.00 bill just for sharpening a set of 2 blades, air filter, oil change, and spark plug.I sharpen all my blades every two lawns, I can get a spark plug elsewhere for likely about half the price of $10.00 and put it in myself. The oil, spark plug and air filter with pre-filter elsewhere will total roughly about $17.00. Do the math. I clean my filters every mowing. They say it is clogged.I have my serious doubts as to their truth. A follow up will be posted once picked up.In follow up: Hilltop was very fair and did equal things out with me and we remain good solid supporters of each other. I personally performed the maintenance suggested and I was up and running in no time.This is an honest reputable dealership and maintenance/repair shop and I do recommend them. I own a business and make sure everything is thoroughly done and ethical in standard. I can do business here.

They give u one prise over the phone and when u get their it is higher thinking you will just pay it

Bob helped me with a Stihl gas hedge trimmer. Wow what a machine. Cuts my hedge trimming time in half and no electric cord cutting. Worth the trip for great personal service.

It is difficult these days to find exceptional customer service. Hilltop goes above and beyond where others fall way short. I recently had warranty service done on a zero turn tractor which was purchased at another dealership. Repairs were made and I was able to pick my tractor up within 48 hours! The push rod was replaced and they also changed the oil and filter. What really made this an excellent experience was the fact that my tire was fixed also when I picked it up. It had a flat when I dropped it off and it needed patching and a new valve stem. Hilltop fixed the tire and didnt charge me a penny. All the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. They also helped me obtain financing for a new scag zero turn. If you are looking for a great experience and quality equipment, I highly recommend Hilltop Lawn and Garden. Thanks again to the staff for the exceptional service.
