We’ve worked with Claire from Hobsons for longer than I can remember. Her and the team have managed and let a couple of flats we own for probably 20 years and can’t recommend them enough. They know the area well and believe in looking after their clients, both landlord and tenant.

We have been renting through Hobson for 7 years. The team have always supported us along the way (i.e. when things needed repairing / upgrading).Claire, especially, is an extremely trustworthy and professional individual, who does not beat around the bush when it comes to business and will speak honestly. The owner Claire Hobson is not professional and discriminative person. She said to my friends which speak very little English, but can write that she doesnt want to work with people who cant speak and her agency cant work with messaging and emailing. She was rude and not interested what are there financial capabilities. I havent seen until now person less interested in making money.

Claire Hobson the owner is so rude and unprofessional. She might have the expertise but lacks people skills. After dealing with her twice, we have decided never to use her agency again. I have never come across someone so arrogant and condescending.

For everyone looking to rent a property, I would advise checking what Hobson has to offer before "going out to shop" in Rightmove or other portals.In our 10 years of renting experience, Hobson is definitely the best agency by all means we have ever rented from.Very easy, straightforward process from the very beginning when you contact them to arrange a viewing of the property and up to the end of the tenancy.Unlike those "chain agencies", Hobson treats you as an individual.If you ever have any issues in the property, they are very quick to respond, arrange repairs and make sure everything is sorted out afterwards.And after all, just a nice ladies there in the office:)

We chose Hobsons because they’re local and independent. From start to finish Claire Hobson and the rest of the team were extremely friendly and helpful, doing everything they could to help us both to buy and to sell. So much of buying a house relies on people and relationships, which can be frustratingly slow - its for this reason that it was great to have Hobsons help us chase things on and sort things out! Recommended.

If your a tennant do not bother ... Claire is one of the rudest most disorganised letting agent I have ever met. They regularly lost paperwork or sent you someone else’s paperwork. They charge a fortune for the simplest request and outright insult you if they do not get there way. If anything becomes too much of an issue she will kick you out. Our stairs were falling apart but I was told it is too much money to repair then promptly evicted the next day when I called it a safety hazard. You have much better options in highams Park. I give them a year before they either go out of business or one of their tennants die from shoddy work around the house, honestly if you care about your safety, sanity and money do not go near them!

My partner and I have been managed by Hobsons for many years. Each time there has been a problem, Hobsons have been quick to resolve it. Recently, they have helped deal with the most horrific, rude and weirdest landlords known to man. We have finally escaped, and the sun is shining again. What a ghastly, unpleasant woman Claire Hobson is. I was baffled by the positive reviews but they seem to be all from sellers. As a prospective tenant she treated us like something her dog threw up. Never have I had the misfortune to deal with such a rude and condescending agent. I realise that housing in London is very much a seller’s market but we are good, polite and reasonable people who deserve to be treated with some respect and humanity. House owners I beg you, do not rent through Hobson: they might be good to you but your tenants will be treated like dirt for the privilege of lining their pockets. Utterly disgusting behaviour.

Wow, trying to make an offer but the owner refused to even put forward the offer. Never have I dealt with someone so rude, unprofessional and biased. If only the sellers knew how she spoke to potential buyers she would be out of business.

Hobson Sales and Letting managed my property for many years and I was always very pleased. Claire and Adele were always friendly, efficient and very helpful. Claire the owner of Hobsons is brilliant, ignore all of these reviews below, we bought our house from Hobsons and they are literally the only honest estate agents we dealt with. We took two years to find our perfect property and went through the horror of being repeatedly lied to by various estate agents and losing out to gazumping numerous times. Hobsons do not do bidding wars which puts them head and shoulders above their competitors, we offered asking price on our house and it was immediately taken off the market. The communication was perfect throughout all of our sale despite the chain above us being particularly unstable and we now have our perfect house.

Firstly i do not usually write reviews, but feel compelled to do so.We have dealt with Hobson Property many times over the years and they have always been extremely good at what they do.The owner is very honest, up front and always extremely helpful and professional.Unlike many estate agents Hobsons matches the right houses with the right buyers- this means thats when you are going through the stress of buying or selling a property you do not get time wasters!I would always recommend them to anyone selling or buying a house and will continue to do so.

The owner is a greedy, unreasonable and unprofessional lady who has her own interests in mind over anything else, including her clients. You wouldnt initially see this, as she can come across as a friendly person in the beginning, but can be deceptively evil !For a landlord, I noticed she was willing for risk her clients property in order to maximize her fees. Misrepresented the details from us, promised us extra "free days" when we started and the date on her paperwork was mistaken, but screwed us over for it when we left.As a tenant, they will serve you a section 21 notice soon after you start, if you complain about anything in the property, she will get the owner to evict you. Just BEWARE!
