I called to make an appointment and was advised that the doctor would be able to see me in an hour. I arrived 10 minutes prior to my appointment to a waiting room full of people, which filled me with dread. However, after checking in at the reception desk and an approximately 2 minute wait, the doctor saw me and attended to my issues immediately. I couldnt have asked for a more seamless experience. Highly recommended!

This was my first time in the office and seeing a dermatologist in easily 10 years. Dr. Polar and the staff were extremely polite. The office was very nice and clean. They made the experience easy, quick and very efficient. Dr. Polar took the time to hear about my concerns and complaints and to discuss my options. Will definitely be back and will recommend to friends & family.

Dr. Polar is very attentive to the skin problem & concern that I have. He checks and is not rushing like other doctors just to get pay. The receptionist are great. Talk to you with professionalism and good attitudes, that really makes you feel comfortable. Thank you for your services.

My dermatologist, Dr Polar, is thorough, informative, and quite personable. The office runs like a tight ship and they appreciate clients who arrive on time. Put simply, Ive yet to have a bad experience with Schweiger.

I had a great experience at my first visit with Dr. Christopher Palines. The office is so clean and organized! The staff was all very friendly and wait time wasnt long at all! Even once I got called to the room I wasnt in there long before the Doctor came in. I wasnt rushed, he took the time to listen to all my concerns and answer my questions. Highly recommend.

Had my first visit to Schweiger Dermatology and first appointment with Dr Polar this week. I was completely satisfied across the board. I got an appt within a few days, had a short wait time, and liked Dr Polar instantly. Hes lowkey, warm, and professional. The skin scan was careful and thorough. He answered my questions and allayed my anxiety over a blotch on my foot. No freezing or biopsy was needed. I gave my copay and left happy.

Short wait time, courteous and responsive team. Dr. Polar heard out my concerns and took them seriously. I feel as if Im finally on my way to getting answers.

Being a Heath care professional, it is always interesting when we are on the patient. I have been a patient of Schweiger Dermatology the past three years and see my provider, Christopher Palines, on a regular basis. His bedside manners are one of the best I have seen and when he’s out of the office, the other providers always take care of me, and that is why I continue to come to Schweiger. The entire team (Nicole, Deanna, Luisa, Brenda and everyoneat the front office and staff are very polite, respectful and that’s very important for any patient. I can see that the highest of standards in patient comfort and care are always here. Thank you so much.

I’ve been going to this group for a year and a half and the staff is amazing, the nurse practitioner and the physician’s are very good. The office is clean and the wait time is 10-15 minutes max which is excellent.

I was referred by my cousin. Melissa the physician assistant was honest and great with my Botox and removing cyst from my forehead. . I definitely recommend her to everyone. Her staff is also great.my cousin and I will go no where else.

I went in to get a mole checked out and ended up doing a full skin check. Very pleasant and professional office! Also they got me in and out shockingly quick for a doctors office. So long as my insurance doesnt change I will continue to come back.

DO NOT GO HERE !!!!!! I had made an appointment to come and told them I was running late, and should be there within the grace period time. I am not from the area, it took me 40 minutes to get to this location including a toll. I spoke with a man from this office and had asked him if I could still come in, and if not I would turn around (before having to cross a bridge and pay the tollhe said YES. I got to the location and the staff argued with me saying that the doctor already left and they couldnt do anything for me. I then told them that I just spoke with someone from this office and they assured me I could still be seen. I called the customer support hotline and they had told me that the office closes 5 minutes before the actual close time… MEANING that the staff lied to me about when the doctor leaves, he leaves before closing. I asked them did they not communicate to the doctor that there was a patient coming in who had said she was running late but would be there BEFORE CLOSING. Their rude response was “was he just supposed to wait around for you?” Mind you I got there before the closing time. 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE. HORRIBLE STAFF !!!!!!!!!

Staff were courteous and helpful. Making an appointment was super easy. Easy parking and clean office. Most importantly (and what I really care about), Dr. Polar was knowledgeable, thorough and answered all my questions. I didnt feel rushed and he took his time.

I have encountered billing issues with this practice, that I feel should be shared, in hopes of saving others from frustration and unfair charges.As a patient, I was in this office for mere moments, where I received a quick cortisone shot and am now being billed for a "procedure". Not only is this unwarranted (as a quick/small shot is NOT a procedure), but this is the first time I have had a dermatology office charge specifically for this. I have been to many appointments, where a shot is administered and included in the charges for your visit, not billed as a procedure. So please know this before visiting this office.Additionally, escalating this concern just gets routed to a service that takes weeks to reply and is followed up with a cold, unsigned email, that includes no personal contact for someone to follow up with.Please beware!!!

I had an appointment at 12:10 with Dr. Gregory Polar. The front staff was nice but that’s not the point. I got called back to see the doctor at 12:35. The nurse assistant asked me a couple questions then the doctor came him. I tried to explain a little more what I was dealing with but he told me he already knows what it is, barely looking at it. He claimed he could “see from where he was standing”. He must’ve saw that my edges was fleeked (doneand mistakes it for that. I tried to show him pictures but he barely looked at them. He prescribed me and shampoo and I was out that door at 12:38. No offense but this is why I should have went to an African American doctor. Who probably would’ve actually taken the time to talk to me more thoroughly.

The staff was GREAT, from the time I walked in the door, the young lady was very friendly and professional and there was no wait time. The office was clean and sanitized the staff was friendly and professional . Dr Melissa R and her assistant was absolutely amazing ,she explained everything in detail to me and the course of action that she would be taking to help me. From the time I walked in until I left the office was a great experience .

First time at this dermatology group. The office staff was pleasant and greeted you as soon as you walked in the door. The check-in was quick and I was called to see the doctor in a timely manner. Dr Polar and his PA asked me what I was there for and gave me the best options. They were both very kind and helpful. I was given another appointment in a good time frame. It was an excellent experience

The environment was exceptionally clean. The staff were friendly and courteous. The visit was extremely quick and Dr. Polar was remarkable with great bed side manner. Excellent service and would use this practice in the future. I highly recommend this practice if you live in the area.

This place is a joke. They just try to get you to come In as much as possible to bill you. Nd they do nothing to help you out. I went to this office 3 times. In which all 3 times a specialist told me he cant do anything for a minor boil on my head. They turned me away but not before trying to get me to go for a 4th appt. Nd I asked why if u cant do anything. There response was maybe we can help you In a later date. So I said never again now Im being harassed by there billing debt because there employee charged me the wrong co pay or there just asking for more money. Never again. By the way I got the boil removed with no help . Just applied pressure to it was ready .

The staff at this location is horrendous. The front desk receptionist is rude. It seems like she hates her job, possibly her life because no one genuinely happy speaks as nasty she did about another patient. While I was standing right in front of her. There seems to be an entitled condescending attitude throughout the entire staff. I am truly unsure where the entitlement would justifiably be derived from. It deeply saddens me to witness a provider with arrogant bedside manner. Especially in a place where those of color or low income seek care. Then to add patronizing ‘okay’s’ and “have a great day” at the end of the minimal conversation. You deserve a doctor that cares and shows decency while you voice your concerns. Go to the location on Yonkers Ave. I believe they take the same types of insurance. The front desk is pleasant and the provider I saw was kind.

The worst experience ever with a doctor that I was seeing for the first time since my original doctor left. Imagine going to this facility and having the doctor look at you for a condition that needed attention and the patient assistant was to send the prescription to the pharmacy. 4 days (including a weekendlater while trying to follow up no one has still sent this prescription and trying to speak to someone that can help is sent to their call center or whatever it is patient care call representative. This is tardiness and never have I experienced such disregard for a condition. Imagine if this was a situation of dire need!! Please don’t waste your time, for a more fulfilling experience it’s best to find doctors that actually care about patient needs instead of feeling like a factory number.

I like that they were very punctual. The doctor didn’t really spend much time with me nor did he provide me with options. I’d come to find out after that he could have recommended me to see an allergist since I had concerns.My 5 stars is because they were punctual, clean facility, and nice staff. I hope that the prescription he gave me will help clear up my skin.

This office well seriously make you question what is wrong with every other the medical office. It is literally the most understanding and efficient medical office I have ever been to. In and out extremely fast with all my problems being listened to and addressed. Every staff member needs a raise for how well they do their job, I had to question whether my insurance would even allow this place from how well-coordinated and maintained this place. Literally best medical office Ive ever visited.

After years of battling hair loss I finally decided to try prp, Melissa was wonderful, she listened to my concerns and made me feel comfortable during the procedure. I am so happy with my results so far. Recommend 100%.

I had one of the worst experiences of my life at this place I would not recommend this office at all. My first and last experience started with entering the waiting room and spending six to eight minutes waiting to get called up by the receptionist, when that didnt happen I went up to check in on my own accord and was told that the "15 minute grace period" for getting checked in for an appointment was up, and that I would have to reschedule for next time. I proceeded to tell her that I had been waiting in the room without going to the desk for some time, she reaffirmed her original statement by saying I would have to come back some other time. If you want to waste an hour of your life go to this office, you wont even be able to see a doctor because the receptionist determines that for you...

It was my first time there and once there it was the BEST service Ive had going to a doctor.. The receptionist got me checked in really quickly, I got to see the PA right away. They gave me treatment right away. I was done in 20 minutes. Any where else I would expect to wait a while Im between everything and it would take an hour. The only down fall was making an appointment. That almost lost me from the start. I couldnt call to make an appointment and the website to register is terrible. However, is worth struggling through that for the great experience once in the office.

I never have to wait, the staff is always very welcoming and professional, the facility is clean and relaxing, the Dr. and/or Nurse are thorough, patient, and detailed; they take their time and explain everything. I love going here. They are really knowledgeable and kind.

This office is awesome. I was greeted promptly as soon as I walked in by the great receptionist Karima. She helped me with my appointment and set me up with my doctor in a very efficient and timely manner. I saw the provider was given information to better my condition and started to see results immediately after starting the regimen. Very happy with my results will be coming back.

I been to this office twice and both times were pleasant. I seen Megan Li twice, shes good but now I been having issues as far as getting my prescriptions its like pulling teeth to get any answers. This has been ongoing since December. I also left one of my personal belongings there and havent received any call backs about this either. Their call center is horrendous. I will not be coming back to any SDG office.

Met with PA Melissa Rosenhan and was so happy with my visit. The office was adhering with COVID guidelines by spacing the chairs out in the lobby however I didn’t even have a wait. I was taken right in by the nice receptionist. Everyone had their masks on. Most importantly I felt I was listened to by my provider and it is so hard finding someone like that. Thanks Melissa!

Melissa Rosenhan PA-C is the best! Shes saved my skin and coming to the office was very easy. Everyone is so friendly and professional. There was 0 wait time and they are taking great measures during the pandemic - it felt very safe and clean. Will definitely be coming back again soon! She also put me on a skin regiment which Im loving and already see results!

I have been to this office several times and each time I am treated with respect by the front desk staff. Melissa, the PA-C and her medical assistant Virginia are superb. They take their time in the room with patients and truly care. They take the appropriate measures for COVID-19 safety protocol. Highly recommend!

Due to Covid-19 visitors are not allowed in. Completely understandable. Therefore I called in advanced and was assured it would not be an issue. My dilemma, in which I was inquiring about may or may not be hereditary. I wanted the doctor to observe and compare. I also noted the reason for my visit in advance. The secretary at the front desk was rude, to put it mildly. She not only was livid that I had someone there, she went as far as asking for their purpose, which is confidential. That is between my doctor and I.Once in the office my doctor did not even check the content I laid out on the counter top which I brought along to show her. It may be a contributing factor to my current state. She spouted 2 or 3 things that she guessed it could be. Told me theres not much to say or do until the blood work is received and was very dismissive. Brief is an understatement. When I then moved on to my second ailment, the look on her face literally compelled me to defend myself by stating I had noted the reasons for my visit in advance. She was not sure as to what my second prognosis could be. Not completely sure but yet, advised a method that is minimally invasive. Needless to say, any procedure, minimal or not, the patient would like assurance that their medical assessment is spot on. I was really looking forward to this visit and was hoping a doctor in this specific field would be more cultivated, inquisitive and welcoming. I am disappointed and hope that today was an off day for the office and its staff. It does not excuse their absence of good manners, work etiquette and condescending attitude. I will be returning for a second visit to review the results and hope that first impressions arent always accurate. This experience leads me to believe that perhaps the reviews are fabricated to gain clients. One person, the physician assistant, was kind, patient and cordial. She must be the glue that keeps everything running smoothly or the balance to the superiority complex that is rampant. The insurance may cover the cost of the visit but the disrespect and overall anticlimactic prognostication which may prove to be unfounded, is immeasurable.

I can not say enough about this place! I have never had a bad experience. I recently saw Melissa Rosenhan, who is by far the best! She is great! Took the time to consult with me about what my best option would be and explained every step of the way. I really couldn’t be any happier, she is the best and I would recommend her and this group to anyone! I travel 40 minutes to come here and it is worth every mile. I’ve found my forever place! Any staff that I come in contact with when I am there are always nice and ready to help. A great place all around!

My appointment was on June 7, 2019. I was being assessed by an Asian doctor ( totally forgot his mame). I felt my concern was not important to the doctor . He injected me with Bacteriostatic 0.9% Sodium Chloride. I researched the injection which is NOT associated with hair loss. There was not enough treatment option other than the Bacteriostatic injection. He also mentioned PRP injection however he stated my insurance will not cover. Therefore, he barely spoke about it.Next after treatment, my scalp feels itchy and a burning sensation. And I have a migraine.In addition, I received a call from Nicole on June 11, 2019. She stated that the review I posted should be removed..... Why?
