Homely Upholstery in Yolo County

Homely Upholstery is amazing! I talked to & worked with David the owner & he was man of integrity & truth. I needed a cover made with tufted buttons on it & my little chair that was my Mom’s that means the world to me because she loved it & one of my kitties shredded the material. David gave me an estimate & time to be done over the phone after taking the time to really listen & explain what he does. He very knowledgeable & passionate about what he does & he says it’s great to get others estimates- he just gave me some questions to ask them & says some are better than others - he never named names or cut any down. When I met with him he looked it over - I had already said I would pay a price but he told me it would cost less because it was smaller than he though (who does that?😄). He also saved me money by using some extra material he had - he said if I can find anything that he had from leftover material to use it wouldn’t cost me anything for the material. He had many selections. So I didn’t have to buy my own material & that saved me money too. He told me if he gave me a time it would be done even if it was over the holidays he worked through the holiday to get it done on time that impressed me. He told me it would be done 11/22/21 - it was done early 11/16/21 almost by a week. He made my cushion double sided & with a zipper -,I didn’t even ask for that & my Mom’s little chair is absolutely perfect. I highly recommend Homely Upholstery to everyone. Homely was great! I had a tweed couch that was only 2 years old and the stitching on the seat cushion came apart (Kids and dogs dangit). I was concerned there might not be enough material to repair it, but David did a fantastic job and also reinforced the piping around the whole cushion to make sure nothing fails in the future. Im sure their turnaround time will vary depending on the job and how busy they are, but in my case they turned it around same day!

I cannot say enough positive about Homely Upholstery. They were so wonderful to work with, attentive, and very conscientious. The workmanship they displayed on my rebuilt and reupholstered leather couch cushions was superb. I would highly recommend this company for any upholstery work.

My chairs were reupholstered and the joints were fixed in one day. I chose to use one of their fabrics and was happy with the results. The quality is impeccable and my chairs look brand new. They were quick on getting back and answering my questions. Friendly and affordable. My chaise lounge was beautifully made and tailored to my likings. My furniture is way better than I first brought it. Definitely worth the cost.
