Verborgen juweeltje…..Leuke ervaring om op een rots te logeren en ‘s nachts de golven te horen ruisen.Super vriendelijke eigenaar die er alles aan deed het je naar de zin te maken.Eten wordt vers bereid en kwaliteit kost nou eenmaal wat tijd, dus relax en neem nog een drankje 🥃 🍷 🍺Net als wij zelf was de eigenaar van mening dat er na 1989 nog weinig goede muziek is gemaakt, dus hebben ‘s avonds op het bovenste terras, onder het genot van een goeie fles wijn onder andere samen met AC/DC, Guns & Roses en Toto in een hangmat doorgebracht 🎉🥳.Kamer wat warm, dus goed dat we airco hadden gekozen. Ruim aanbod kabel zenders op tv. Douche of heet of koud, mengen gaat erg lastig.Ontbijt ook weer uitstekend.Wat ons betreft een aanrader 👍🏻

Solo tuve el placer de conocer el Restaurante el cual está excelente. Amplio menú de comidas, bebidas y postres. Rico todo a buenos precios y la atención excelente. Ubicados con una vista increíble, rodeados por el agua del Golfo de Chiriquí. Es fácil llegar, se toman los botes en el muelle. Recomendado. Fotos de ma vista panorámica.

El hotel está en una ubicación magnífica, muy cerca del puerto en taxi acuático y con unas vistas increíbles. Está muy bien atendido, la comida está súper bien y dan todas las indicaciones para moverse por la zona.Lo recomiendo a cualquiera que quiera disfrutar de la naturaleza

Nice place with a beautiful view. Most of the food is tasty, except for the seafood soup. The soup tasted like frozen flooded with boiling water. I recommend fresh fish. Really worth it!

Das Lokal ist offen gehalten, überdacht und bietet einen tollen Ausblick. Der gegrillte Fisch mit Yucca-Fries war sehr gut. Das Bier ist günstig und auch der Pina Colada ist für 5$ recht gut. Die Besitzer haben uns freundlicherweise auch ein Taxiboot zurück nach Boca Chica organisiert.Leider wurden uns am Ende 10$ Weggebühr (5$ Sendero für hotelfremde Gästein Rechnung gestellt, die wir nicht nachvollziehen können und die auch niergendwo angekündigt wurden. Es fühlt sich an, als würde man Eintritt fürs Restaurant bezahlen, obwohl man ja eigentlich froh über zusätzliche Gäste sein sollte. In Verbindung mit einem Besuch auf der Insel würden wir trotzdem wieder kommen, da das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ansonsten passt.

Nice place to be, nice food, nice host, clean rooms and area in total. Nice atmosphere, where we had the pleasure to see Monkeys directly in front of our room. An air conditioner would ne nice, since in the nights might get really warm

Nice place. Park in town. The parking area looks rough. But it is safe. Catch a water taxi out. Climb up a few flights of stairs. Welcomed by host. Rooms nice. Bed comfortable. Bar and food are good. Need cups in the bedroom.

We didn’t stay here, we only treated ourselves to a dinner at the restaurant. Frank was great! The food was good and we sampled quite a few of the cocktails, which were spot on.

Great fun to taxi over, increadablrincredible views. Food and Bar were great. Eco trail down some beach with lots of wildlife. We did a 2 night stay, probably wouldnt do a week there. Great for a 2 nighter. Friendly service English speaking.

Una meraviglia ....situato a 3 minuti in barca da Boca Chica ....si mangia divinamente bene con prezzi modici...le abitazioni ed i bagni sono puliti ed i gestori proprio alla mano. Nell isola ci sono un sacco di scimmie ed Iguane...per chi vuole staccare la spina ...lo consiglio ...il più bello da quando sono arrivata a Panama.

Hotel is charging 5 USD per person to use public hiking trails on the island. My suggestion; avoid the hotel and just walk straight to the trails or even better use another pier on the island.

Traumhaft gelegen an der Spitze der Insel auf einer Anhöhe.Die freundliche und hilfsbereite Crew spricht neben Spanisch auch Deutsch und Englisch.Die Zimmer sind in einfachem, landesüblichen Zustand, sauber und mit bequemen Betten. Wir hatten einen Balkon mit Blick auf den Dschungel und andere Inseln.Hier haben wir hervorragend frischen Fisch und Hummer zu günstigen Preisen gegessen. Überhaupt stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Had a great time, fantastic food, fantastic staff, Brad gave us a tour of the rentals so we are better informed for when we stay there.

I didnt stay at the Hotel (yetbut the water taxi to Boca Brava island dropped me on the Hotels pier. So I was able to hike their trails and check out a few tiny beaches. I met the owner and had a few beers after my hike. Hes an awesome guy and the bar has an great view and is breezy too.

Very cool place. Good food and cozy rooms. Lovely place for snorkeling around its beaches, paddle surf and kayak.

Great place to stay that’s off the beaten path. Food was good, service was great and friendly! The place definitely has character with the super cool bistro area and the AC was amazing!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND the snorkeling tour they offer. Everything was easily affordable and they took care of you!

Stopped here to walk through the jungle to Playa Christina and then for a drink on the way back. It was so lovely we would have considered staying here! Howler monkeys in the jungle! We even saw an armadillo! Friendly service and delicious drink at the bar. Nice place!

Following my stay in this hotel in January, I reviewed in on the website where I booked it. I made a narrative review and I assessed all the categories which led to the final score of 5.8 out of 10. Given the owner’s subsequent arrogant reply, I’m now giving this hotel only one star. Whenever a guest puts a negative comment, the owner replies along the lines that it’s a shame the guest could not have afforded a more expensive room, because then they would have been happier. In our case, he could not reply this as we booked the most expensive option, so he found another way to blame the poor rating on us. To give you the flavour, this is a part of the owner’s reply “We always find it funny that backpacker type travelers like yourselves want the most such as every 5 star amenity known but want to pay the least because you are budgeted to travel for 6 months on 600 dollars.” Dear Owner (I’m sure you’ll read it), I’ve been laughing my head off for the last couples of days. Me a backpacker? Seriously, it’s hilarious! I’ll tell you what, if you said I was a 2019 Oscar winner, you wouldn’t be more wrong. I’ve never been a backpacker, not even as a student (I have absolutely nothing against backpackers, just I’m not the type). Really, a great joke. By the way, if you’re so curious about the length and the budget of our holidays, 600 dollars is the price of just the last 3 nights of our 17-night stay in Panama. During our trip to Panama we stayed in various places (apartments, hotel rooms, bungalowswith prices ranging from 60 to over 200 bucks per night and ALL of them scored much better than your hotel. So, Dear Owner, instead of blaming your clients for being too poor and/or too demanding, dedicate your energy to addressing the shortcoming so that future guests have nothing to complain about. Seriously, I can’t think of another that poorly maintained hotel I’ve ever been to and, more importantly, of such an arrogant owner (anticipating your future comment, I’ve been to hundreds of hotels in over 50 countries so I believe I have a good overview). Looking forward to your reply :Just kidding :Sounds familiar? I guess so. This is how you reply to guests who dared to say that your hotel was not amazing, don’t you?

Lovely place in the middle of the nature, the view from some rooms is amazing. We saw monkeys, iguanas, dolphins... The food is pretty good too, as an italian, I especially enjoyed their ravioli, and you must try the fish of course. Only downsides the stairs you need to climb to get there, and the catwalk to the rooms which gets very slippery when it rains

Great place considering value/money

Great hotel with fair prices -also when it comes to food at their restaurant. From the hotel you can directly start a hiking trail which is a comfortable walk (we spend altogether 2 hours but got he first beach its like 20 minutes). You can visit both beaches and can even cross the island to end up at the fish and boat "center" we saw monkeys, snakes and lots of butterflies and spiders. You can not connect to the sendero boca Brava! Therefore you need a boat ride. All room have amazing views and I am currently enjoying my time in a hammock. You can arrive there easily by boat from boca chica for 3 dollars a person. It is really a place to relax and enjoy island vibe.

This is a great place to spend an afternoon. Hop a panga at Boca Chica and tell the driver when you would like to be picked up for the return ride. When there, head yup hill to therestaurant, grab a spot on the second floor of the restaurant, enjoy the spectacular views, the breeze, and while away a day. Food is good! The yucca fries are excellent. Drinks are nicely done. I have never stayed in the hotel, so this is not a review of that facility. This is not a fancy place at all. It gets its hefty rating from me because of views and food and just the right atmosphere. Pure Panama at its best.

Aks for the "Beach Christina" a small beach on the island, possible that you are going to be on your own beside from the small apes there :-a romantic and fantastic place.

Unwelcome and unfriendly owner. Better views on the ocean side of the island. Didnt try it but I heard good things about the Cala Mia hotel in the other side of the island.

A nice hotel near Boca Chica to relax for a week. The restaurant overlooks the calm sea, birds are singing all day long and you can see monkeys swinging through the trees. There is also a boat trip to 2 beautiful islands. Highly recommended for accommodation in Chiriqui!

Amazing views of the Boca Chica islands, lots of different room type options with cable tv and free wifi; very private and cozy with a roof top deck to appreciate a 360• view of the area. Clever space to chill on hammocks while you eat/read a book with ocean view and surf board roof decor. Very well priced. Friendly and hospitable owner and staff. Only accessible by water taxi.

Loved the panoramic views from the resort and Kayaks to the private isles were spectacular. Food is great and reasonably priced and rooms are also private and comfortable. They also charge all items to your room so you can just pay at the end, and the owner was quite friendly / helpful.Our transportation from Boca Chica to the resort was quickly coordinated at the dock with locals for ~$3 American / person.
