Huddle House in Greenup County

Misty was our server and the cook on the grill was Jenny. The staff and food were both amazing. Greatest service I have had in a long period of time... place could use more employees to take the stress off of their hard working staff

Gotta love getting your food fresh to order and even full meals for only $5..including drinks with free refills!!! Also, the coolest and friendliest waiters/waitresses!!! UPDATE:I just took 4 of my 5 star rating away because this place has gone so downhill that its both sad and disappointing. Lousy service, waitresses with bad attitudes, overcharged. It just keeps getting worse with each visit the last few months. I really hope the owner/manager brings the place back to its former glory because it really was a cool place to eat and hang out with family and friends.

Always love coming to the Hubble house .even late nights on Friday night and Saturday night. With a abundant of musicians and country music stars in our area . never know who youll meet and share coffee with.. you may end up singing back up to (achy breaky.)( Appalachian lady.Or (open road). As one of them says. (Thats what turns me on.).. the best in the (galaxy rec.)

Server was very forgetful I think she even forgot we were there 90% of the visit.

Could update there menu and make sure food is hotter

They were extremely short staffed but a very nice, skilled waitress handled the packed restaurant

Today they only had 1 waitress and 1 cook and the place was crowded. They did the best they could but everything was cold. Then they got the bill wrong. If youre going to have a business get some help.

Food was hot and delicious, and fixed right even though short staffed. Will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful experience. Misty and Kayla at the Flatwoods location went above and beyond. I had just left the emergency room and was starving after having been there all day. Misty and Kayla were friendly and smiling. Best customer service Ive had in a long time. We will definitely be back.

They gave me a nice breakfast platter for my 50th birthday today. Very good food and staff

Service was very slow .Restrooms were Nasty. But waitress was very friendly. Food was OK.

The breakfast is A-1, the staff is good too. It did not take long before I had a steaming hot plate that was scrumptious. If your passing through Ashland, Ky stop here. GOOD FOOD!

Shout to the Flatwoods Ky store and its crew. My grandson is on the Spectrum and they always go out of their way to make him feel special and cared about. He calls them his friends at Huddle House and loves going there for pancakes which they make those a little special for him too. Thank you for your inclusion of those with special needs!

Great service and the food has always been so good! The southwestern bowl is great for breakfast and their burgers are so flavourful!

The food was awesome but we waited 45/50 minutes on our food and decided to get it to go!!! We were also made to feel uncomfortable by other customers!!!

Very dirty,short staffed so we did with out stuff we needed napkins creamer ketchup. Awful. Staff is way to busy to do a good cleaning they need to hire someone to do that.

Didnt get the order right and the restaurant wasnt the cleanest. Friendly waitress though, she did try her best.

It took along time to get our food! They brought out my husbands and mine then we had to wait for Izzys! Which anybody with kids knows they eat first! So my husband gave her his eggs and sausage and I gave her my biscuit! When they brought Izzys out the eggs were cold! My husband was upset cause he had to eat cold eggs! They brought toast for a biscuit! They said sorry for the mistake and gave us a biscuit! Then the bill came!! 30.98$ for what we got! I wont be going back! So they charged us basically 10$ a plate! The ladys were so bored they followed us out the door talking from my 6 yr old as I am trying to get out of this place!!

We were there around 8:30 pm. There was only one server and one cook. Service was awesome and food was delicious but they needed 1 or 2morw people working.

Been having lots of service problems in the past few months in the mornings. Stopped coming to HH all together. We got a coupon for a free Birthday Breakfast in the mail and thought we would give it a last try. Glad we did. Our food was great! came hot and on time. Service from Kayla our server was great and couldnt have been friendlier Glad we gave it a second chance.

We went in in the evening there was a new server & a new cook. The food was great , the service was good & no complaints they did a really good job. We will be returning.

I had been here in the past and the food was not that great. So I thought Id give it another try. The restaurant was dirty from the floors to the tables. And service was not the best.

Theyre currently short-staffed but they work so hard trying to make sure all the guests are took care of I will do anything for them to have a good visit

Service was not so good. Food was ok. Just wasnt upto par. It wasnt busy at all. It took for ever to get food. Then we got it. No silverware, had ask for so much other stuff as well as drinks. Just wast good experience there. Not a hard fix just better workers all the way around.

Our waitress was very good and very upbeat dispite a very dysfunctional staffing situation. Food was ok, but I would avoid during traditional meal times. Very, very slow.

Most of the tables gave up and left, but we stuck it out due to having a nice server. It took two hours to get food, although the drive-thru continued on at a normal pace. Mismanaged.

This specific huddle house used to be a traditional place for my family and I to eat and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. Since these times I have moved to Texas , yet my family still continues to go here for the simple fact of I believe her name was “Whitney”. She’s been their sever to being their cook. I remember one instance of her being there by herself cooking and serving. I haven’t been here personally in years but this girl seems to be all the glue holding this place together I truly hope she is a manager if not something is wrong. Kudos to Miss Whitney for outstanding service that travels all the way to Texas!!

Always get my good in minutes and they treat us like family!!! We visit here often!! Great good and a wonderful $5 menu as well!!

The food was very good & the waitress/server was very kind & was very good at checking on if everything was good & so I say my fitst time experience was a great one & Id definitely would return.

Previous times I have been to this Huddle House I would have given them a bad review. Im glad I gave them a second chance. This last visit the food was great and more importantly the whole place was neat and clean!! The only unclean thing I found was our table had some syrup on it and TBE waitress apologized and wiped it down again for us. I was really impressed. The cook even came out and asked us if the food was OK. Very nice!!

Delicious food at great prices and hash browns are the best,staff was great

Every other time Ive been here my food was nice and hot, well, not this time. I ordered the stuffed hash brown with ham and cheese. My cheese wasnt melt and the ham chucks were cold.

The food was way better than I expected. Beyond better than the waffle House and on par with or even better than Dennys. If you havent tried huddle house, I definitely recommend it. Also, mashed potatoes are real and have big chunks in them of potato. Best mashed potatoes.

My family loves this place. I dont. The service has never been good, the seating is usually sticky and the food is blah. I realize that its probably just me and since my family loves the place, I split the difference and gave them 3 stars.

The food was ok, wasnt overly impressed, service definitely wasnt the best and it didnt seem like they really had a good system to making peoples orders and getting their food out to them. By the time everyone got their food at our table, most of it was cold, and the fruit definitely was not fresh, my son loves grapes but would not eat them because he said they tasted funny, so we tried them and they definitely didnt taste right.

The food was good, but the service was terrible. We waited to be seated because all the tables were dirty. Then after waiting for our waitress to finally get to our table, we didnt even get our drinks until our food came out. Even then, it was half our order. I didnt get my waffle until we were finished eating and ready to go. Maybe that doesnt sound like a big deal, all the tables around us were not getting their orders correctly either. She tried to bring us someone elses food at one point, and didnt stop in to check on us to find out things were missing for the longest time. Any other restaurant would have comped a portion of the meal, we would not have pushed it, but it should have been offered. Maybe it was an off day, but we dont plan on returning to find out.

Huddle House offers hearty meals at a reasonable price. Of the 5 times I’ve been to this location, the food has been consistently good, and the service has been mostly good. The MVP breakfast platter is my favorite choice, though a lot of food to eat!

They had good food, and alright prices. Only thing was we went at like 8:30 a.m. and no one but maybe two others eating and it took forever for our food to come out. Prices could be a little cheaper for what you get but everything was better then waffle house except their waffles lol.

My fiance, my mother-in-law & myself ate here tonight; they both got breakfast platters and I got a triple burger with fries. It was all absolutely delicious and it arrived to our table very quickly!I would definitely recommend trying this place if you havent because it was my first time eating here and Ill definitely be back soon!

Always good food. Friendly staff. Doesnt take long to get your food once you order. Never have had to wait for a table. And they never let your cup run empty!

Great veggie omelet! My hash browns were very crunchy, but not burned. They were a little hard to eat so the server even brought me a new, not so "crunchy", serving! Server was extremely polite and pleasant.

Terrible service. Dirty. We found a pill on the floor. Floors and booths were nasty. We are just leaving after over paying for cold food. All crew stepped out at once to smoke and we was left alone in restaurant for 8 minutes. Waitress was only lady besides a dirty,Older cook who smelt of cigarettes while serving us a scoop of extra butter. Never,ever will we eat here again. Bathroom need attention asap. Place needs disinfecting.

I have been to Huddle House before and while the food was as good and freshly prepared as before, the service wasnt as good. They had a new waitress they were training and all their attention was focused on her instead of the wait staff making sure customers drinks were refilled, empty dishes cleared away and tending to the crowded restaurant.

Employees are always friendly and welcoming. The food is always made fresh and hot. One out of the millon times my order was wrong and they made it right with no charge. I hated to even say anything because I had never a bad experience there. Just a wonderful atmosphere! Makes you feel at home!
