Room was cleaned as planned
Excellent service and experience from staff. Brenda A. did a great job the 4 months I was here
Great people, both in housekeeping and at the front desk
I thought the rooms were well cleaned and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Only a couple times when the room cleaning seemed to be lacking
The staff of this IHG is AMAZING. Theyre so friendly and helpful
Clean and awesome staff
Excellent service, They had alot to deal with, a full house all year long and amazing job keeping g up with everything.
Very kind staff, clean rooms, great experience
All employees were very welcoming and helped with any needs I had.
I am quite pleased looking back on my visit. The woman at desk, Petra was very nice and gave me some sound advice regarding the weather and the general climate in Arizona. Thanks for the great stay,Mr. Joung.
While its not the fanciest hotel it is overall very nice. Some bugs end up in your room but thats mostly because people leave the doors open. Staff is very friendly and made the stay excellent!
The housekeeping staff was neat and always helpful and engaging, I always welcomed the morning, afternoon, and evening coffee. I look forward to another stay at the Candlewood.
Ive been staying here for about a month. Yes the hotel is outdated, no its not a huge deal. My biggest complaint of this hotel is solely the occupants as well as the method of dealing with said occupants.Almost every night, preferably on weekdays I sit here all night listening to LTs going through the BOLC course scream all night with their door wide open. A vast majority of individuals staying at this hotel are attending some sort of course. Meaning most of us have to wake up at very early times. I understand the quiet hours are 1000, but theres a difference between saying someones TV is too loud, and complaining that there are multiple grown men screaming down the hall at 10:30 PM.Because the attendants leave the IHG after 10:00 PM, you get connected to the Candlewood. In my experience, following a complaint the same people are continuing to yell at the top of their lungs for the entire time. This did not feel like a hotel. Again, not because of the amenities, service, etc etc.. But the occupants, and the occupants being allowed to act like complete 12 year olds. This felt like I was staying in a barracks room filled with E-3 PFCs.I will never stay here again for this. Many lost hours of sleep, and a major loss of production attending my course due to these adults acting like children at ridiculous hours of the night on a weekday.
Staff are the best thing about the old buildings where the IHG houses BOLC students. Buildings are older and not as nice as the main Candlewood but the staff keep them really clean and are super nice and helpful!
I stayed at the IHG on Fort Huachuca for a little over 4 months and it exceeded my expectations in every way. Yes, the Hotel is a little older and the building itself shows the age. However! The staff does everything they can to ensure you have a comfortable stay. In terms of Army accommodations, this was BY FAR better than I am used to. Most importantly, the Staff is AMAZING! I Cannot say enough get things about the entire Front Desk Staff. My two personal Favorites are Ms. Petra and Ms. Karen! Both of them deserve a raise and a vacation. Cant wait to come back for CCC!
Maam Petra is very nice and keeps the bananas at the lobby at a cool satisfying temperature. thank you so much.
It was great stay at IHG army hotel, everything was awesome. Thank you IHG staff for making my stay comfortable.
Not bad, acceptable conditions.
Other than the fact that the hotel is outdated and lacks an elevator/carts/etc, it is clean and has decent customer service. Only the third floor has kitchenettes.
Lovely place with lovely people
Great service, the rooms are great and has great desk space. 10/10 would come again
I truly enjoyed my stay here. The front desk and cleaning staff were extremely helpful, professional, and friendly. The amenities are commendable and the accommodations are excellent. Many thanks to the staff for making the Fort Huachuca experience so much better.
The cleaning staff always did a great job cleaning my room every thursday! Staying at the IHG was quite and peaceful.
Cleaning staff do a great job in this place. Brenda cleaned my room for my entire 4 months stay. She’s was very professional and did an amazing job.
Definitely an older hotel, but the staff do a great job cleaning the rooms weekly and keeping with COVID-19 safety. They are all super nice and professional and the front desk is always willing to help with you lock yourself out of your room.
The IHG Army hotel has unreliable slow internet. There’s no way to have the local cable company install your own internet service in your room. Finally, there’s not any ethernet connection available either. The management is horrible. I asked to move rooms, from the 2nd floor to the 3rd floor because they have a stove top. For 3 weeks they gave me the run-around. Finally the manager called me to informed me that they would not have any rooms available until 3 months from then...which conveniently happened to be the end of my training. She also claimed that the rest of the rooms on the 3 floor were reserved for individuals with dietary restrictions. Talk about lying to my face. I knew other classmates that were graduating within those 3 months and would vacate their rooms soon.Bar far this is the worst “hotel” I’ve ever stayed in. It’s more like old worn out barracks converted into horrible “hotel” rooms. The management is horrible also, it took them 3 weeks to come up with a poor excuse.
Older building, but the inside is nice. Some rooms have stove tops. Had Brenda and Amalinda service me for 4 months and they always did a great job!
Thanks a lot norma makes my staying like home everything is excellent
I wants to thanks the excellent service of these three persons , Andrew, Brenda and Norma that always do great job. Keep doing that Above Standards!! 🦾
Older rooms, but they keep them clean. The staff has been very friendly and helpful. I needed a couple things done and the maintenance was right on it. Overall very pleased with the experience! The housekeeping has been great!
Reporting to the Better business bureau health code violations sanitation issues and no cleanings fire alarm constantly going off
No EV charging and they won’t let you plug into their 110 outlets for power, even in a snowstorm. The only option for charging in Sierra Vista is behind a hotel off base, but this isn’t a fast charger. It charges at 25mph which means it will take an entire day to charge my car. I would have stayed at that hotel, but as a soldier, I often have no option on where I stay. In this case I have to stay at this IHG. Many cars will be electric in a few years and suggest IHG get ahead of the curve. I suggest installing 2 ChargePoint ports and 2 Tesla Destination chargers. IHG can generate revenue off of both of those. It really is a no brainer but I know that’s a stretch for some people.
Completely unprofessional - loud workers, and they gave us a 4 day notice to move out due to "renovations." Never booking with them again.
The room was very comfortable and the stuff very kind and helpful! Though there was a situation with bugs in the building, and cold water from time to time. It was clean and cleaned almost every day, but the level could be a little higher. The personnel made everything they could to keep us pleased and comfortable.
Rooms are considerably better than they were several years ago. Apparently the facility has gone through a recent much needed remodel. This location has a laundry room as well as a help desk with available odds and ends for sale if you forgot them. Between the multiple buildings there is a common area for grilling and out door activities.
Currently undergoing construction, plenty of things in the room are out dated and miserable. The shower head has about 4 sharp streams and the rest is covered with lime. No Ethernet drops. Without venting on here; overall experience is pretty poor. All amenities are available to guests... But at the newer better hotel a half mile away ... 😴
Staff was extremely helpful in the move due to renovations.
Terrible. I’m currently here and they’re doing renovations. I’ve complained 3 separate times that the workers above me are working at crazy hours at night (11pm-12am). It’s never ends. I’m stuck here for an Army course and it’s impossible to get a good nights sleep. Avoid if you can for sure.
The room very clean and they have good room service.
Its midnight I cant sleep why? Because its 80 out side and they have the heat on. The maids smoke and my room smells of spoiled smoke after they clean it. The hall ways always smell of cigaret smoke. My stove and bath tub are rusting out the walls and the few plates and pots they left for me are rusting and had mold all over them.
Older building, nice park and rec area, good location
EMBARRASSING. DISGUSTING. Old-IHG facility. Filthy, outdated and run-down room, dirty and torn linens, initially no AC and now the temperature control is faulty regardless of room, and wi-fi comparable to a second-world country. DO NOT STAY HERE.
The rooms are a decent size, theres A/C, a beautiful view, and very kind staff.
I stayed in the old IHG part near the pond. I hope the Army isnt paying the same amount for me staying here vs the lucky soldiers who get to stay in the IHG Candlewood up the street. The staff is very nice and they try to keep it clean BUT this place is about 20 steps below a Motel 6. It is stuck in the 1980s. I see officers here and the Candlewood so not sure what the criteria is for staying at the Candlewood. I hope the Army is getting a discounted rate bc if not then someone call the fraud waste and abuse hotline.
My only real complaint is the internet. In the evenings its not good enough to stream from YouTube even at low quality. It completely disconnects every few moments during high traffic times. Not too bad through the day, they just cant handle the load of the guests. Other than that, great hotel experience, friendly staff, free cookies daily.
Old reverted barracks but kept clean. Breakfast isnt on site and limited amenities. Great view of the mountain.
Rooms are out dated but comfortable enough.
Simple yet nice and clean hotel. Could use a little bigger common area.
These rooms were $83 a night. Other family members stayed at the Raddison for $77 on the same night. They reminded me of hourly rooms youd see a prostitute use on TV. The furniture was early 80s and one chair had a hole under the upholstery as if someone upholstered an adult potty chair. It appeared to overlook a swamp or sewage treatment plant. It is clean. All in all, Id expect to pay $30 current market value. Because they are near our members, they gouge and exploit the people who need them. Shameful to put military families in. I would not allow my children on the floor had I brought them.
The staff was friendly and the rooms were kept clean. Theres plenty of outdoors space for grilling and barbeque.
