IHOP in Sussex County

Slow service, we took out. For some reason only the 1 who took the order can ring it up. No utensils or condiments in the bag. Food was terrific though.

The food is good but it takes forever to get to the table, ok otherwise

Very busy this morning but they got us in and out. Our waitress was kind and friendly

Training a new employee on their own no supervision, didnt know how to use the register. No one tried to help. Order finally was taken after 15 minutes, waited for food over a half hour because other guests were being seated and their orders taken while in limbo with mine. Got my order or should I say half, only one platter. My Wife got to eat hers I decided not to wait again on mine.

Update 09/22 - I have been back half a dozen times and things are immeasurably improved. My orders have been bang-on accurate, the wait-staff are friendly and efficient, and the management works hard to keep customers happy. I am pleased to say that I enjoy coming here again!------------------------------------------I have been to many IHOPs when traveling and the experiences have been mostly favorable, which is why I am disappointed when visiting one in my own hometown. My last visit here before this one, I was disappointed and resolved not to come back. I came back this time because the folks I was having lunch with wanted to come here. I dont know if I can accurately quantify it here, but I will try... The food was fine, accurately prepared. The wait-staff was average. The restaurant itself needed cleaning... It just feels like there is a malaise hanging over this IHOP where the staff are there to do their work and not a single bit more than that... One of my company said it best when we left... "Theres an absence of joy in there."...

Nice service attention food parking and prices.

This place gets worse and worse each time you go and try to give them the benefit of the doubt that cooking a few eggs and pancakes isn’t too hard right? They overcooked the mozz sticks until there was no cheese in them. The kids Mac & cheese was so disgustingly dry and burnt. The servers are sweet and friendly. Might just gotta get a whole new kitchen crew because whatever the hell that was. Was NOT it.

I hopped in .I hopped out ..couldnt get our food ! took over an hour .we left , six of us

Went in was seated at a dirty table asked to be moved placed order ask for cin a minions to come out first they come out with no brown sugar on them at all your girl said thats how they come and I said no the picture shows them with cinnamon ask to speak to the manager the manager failed to even come to our table she got me a small and I mean small cup of cinnamon sugar come out the other girl placed our order on the table across from us where the guy touched it and split it to the girl the girl grabbed the plate to start to eat off of it and was told that that order didnt belong there then picked it up and tried to put it back on our table after being in front of someone else needless to say we got off and walked out very sick place core management doing a review we just we were just over at IHOP

Best waitress Ive ever had 10/10

If I could give less than one star I would, after 15 minutes of being seated my husband had to ask someone to wait on us, then a waitress who didnt Introduce herself or have a name tag on with really long eyelashes finally came over and we gave her our complete order and then it took another 20 minutes for her to bring the drinks out, at that point we got up and left, especially after 2 tables that came in after us got waited on immediately. Dont recommend at all and wont be going back

THE best omelet Ive had in any IHOP! Great service food was brought our in record time! Nice friendly waitress also did a fantastic job at serving us

Suprisingly a very nice Ihops, our waitress Letitia was super sweet and very much enjoyed her service, I could easily recommend this place to friends.The breakfast I had was also pretty good, especially the eggs, the hush puppy poppers were also really good. The chef that made our meal did a fantastic job all around💜The only downside is they dont serve many breakfast options anymore, but thats a corporate chain issue, not this particular restaurants fault.

The waitress Letitia was wonderful! She was so kind and funny. Quick service and good food. Will come back again.

Not to take away from the employees, but when you walk in and the wallpaper is hanging off the wall and most of the booths are ripped, a makeover is needed. Everyone could use an IHOP.

The service was great. The staff was very curtious. Prices arent bad either. The food never disappoints at Ihop. Menu is kid friendly, eapecially the picky eaters. It was a nice stop for breakfast especially before a long drive to our destination.

Service was beyond great but the food was eh. Mostly over cooked.

I go the cupcakes pancakes! And they even brought me icing! Staff was so easy to talk and ask for anything they brought it to me right away!

This ihop has gone down the tubes. Food was blah. Salad was brown and wilted. When leaving a customer at another table was complaining of roaches

Ordered the beef tips and eggs for breakfast..well wasnt tips it was a steak cut up Ive had the tips before and that wasnt tips. Had gristle n to chewy. For the price they could atleast serve whats ordered with no replacements. Very disappointed!!

It was amazing. The making of the food was so quick. The people who work there definitely deserve a raise!

It truly is a shame to see so many unmotivated people. Its like they try to fail and are mad at the customer for it.

Ordered take out and everything was as advertised. I really liked that my order was ready on time which Ive found to be rare.

The food was great. In fact it was one of the best ihop meals Ive ever had. In addition, while theyre short staffed, I was amazed at how well the server did handling so many tables. The kitchen at the time only had 2 chefs, and they were putting out food really fast and it was all perfect. Really really impressed with this crew. Keep up the good work.

Although they did not appear busy and there were many empty tables, we stood and waited for at least 10 minutes without any eye contact or acknowledgement of any kind. 🥞 Are always good, though, so we waited, luckily we were not in a hurry.

Best IHOP experience I had. Great customer service. Waiter was very fun and the food, this is best IHOP Ive been, and Ive been to a lot. -1 Stat for no Military discount.

Gave the benefit of the doubt with covid....then it happened again and again. I made an online order. Got there in time. Sat in the spots tried calling phone didnt work. Had to get out the car go in my food is just sitting out. 2nd time same issue. Had to go in food is out done ice cold. 3rd time finally get through...im sttiilll sitting outside over a half hr..the food is cold and was obviously sitting. Woman says park at the door....takes 10 more mins. This time today my mom orders. I dont go inside place bc of our immune systems. Hers more then mine as I still work. We sat in the car almost a hr. I called 3x. We will be out shortly...2nd time let it ring...3rd pull up to the door. We got small shake for almost $5 mind you. Mcdonalds wouldve been better. What best yet...the ice cold nasty wrinkly un salable fries. The dried out burgers and the bun...smh what a joke. Once again it sat out under a heat lamp im assuming since the top of both my and my moms buns were charred. Had to drown the cold fries reheated in ketchup to eat it. That was horrible. They are slow and forgetful. Offered 0 apologies. Didnt try to remake that cold almost a hr sitting out food since they forgot we called the first time. Perfect waste of time and $35. Im done dealing with them.Edit-ordered again today. Same long wait. Had to get up and go in. Stood for about 15 mins more waiting since it says do not touch wait for employees.

The wait to get juice and coffee was long, but before they came to our table, we were told to move. Evidently, the server never showed.We waited at least 15 minutes while people just left - without paying. This IHOP is usually great, but when the food finally came, the hash browns were burned. Meanwhile, the server dropped a plate of food at the adjacent table.I dont usually complain - maybe there was just something extremely wrong that day. Im not sure well be back, though.

The host Terrell was fantastic but the service was subpar. Was seated in a two person booth behind the host stand and waited 15-10 minutes and no one came to even ask us for our drink order. At least 5 employees made eye contact. No one stopped to say anything. Ive never had such a terrible experience at IHOP before and will not be coming back to this location.

my family and i just had lunch we had to wait forever (about 20after being seated before before we received our drinks thank you server Alfred Baynard took over and did a fantastic job my steak was cooked right the first time and all of everything was amazing

My son an I stopped at IHOP as I was taking him back to school. The staff was awesome from the time we walked through the door until we were done. They were really friendly and our food came out quickly and it was hot. The orders were correct and the music they were playing caught my attention in a good way. It looks like the staff have a good time together and they enjoy being at work. I do not see that at all IHOP locations. Theyre doing an awesome job at that location.

Great server! Wait time to get seated was a tad lengthy considering the low number of customers in the establishment. Also the wait time to receive our food was quite lengthy. But well worth the wait! Good came hot 🔥, and cooked perfectly. Im quite lucky when it comes to breakfast foods. The scrambled eggs were NOT overly cooked and burnt. The sausage links were evenly cooked on all sides with a perfect amount of crunch. The hash browns were browned to perfection!

I will start off by saying the service was great! Our waiter(guy with dreadlockswas excellent. My husband enjoyed his food but I was not happy with everything. First, there we were seated in a booth next to someone when the entire restaurant was empty. I feel they could of at least put a table distance between us. The silverware was stained to the point it almost looked dirty. My sirloin tips were delicious but the mashed potatoes and broccoli was just nasty. I took my salad home with me. The dressing tasted nothing like ranch. Maybe it was a creamy italian but was supposed to be ranch. I am very disappointed with this past visit because Ive had nothing but good experiences in the past at this location. Im not sure if/when I will return.

WOW ITS SO CLEAN AND THE STAFF IS SO HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY I CANT FORGET THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD.We are from Lakeland Florida and are IHOP IS nothing like this.Keep up the good work it pays off we will be coming back when we travel.Say Hello to everyone.

Sat for 45 minutes with no refills never seen the waitress. Got our food and the food was cold. Could not tell our waitress it was cold because she never came back. Then she wanted to Bring the bill and that is when we got refills. But poor service at this establishment will not return.

Sunday after breakfast the place is empty. Foo was hot. Service was good. Place was clean. Food plated nicely with fairly large servings. U have to use your phone for the menu because the only hand out one at the table. Overall great experience especially when you dont want the TEXAS RH wait in the area.

My husband and enjoyed our breakfast. Our server was so nice and respectful. This was between 10am and 11am. He made sure we were good. Made us very comfortable. The food was very good. The hostess was very friendly as well and gave us a choice of where we wanted to be seated. Im so sorry I forgot the names because they shouldnt be forgotten. Excellent service.

My waiter was a very nice and polite fella. Food was hot and done fast. Wasnt real busy on a Sunday evening but it should be because it was a great dinner for the buck.

Loved the sanitation practices, they clean before you are seated. The server (forgot her name... young african american girlwas very nice and ensured our food was made as specified.... i can be particular about color of pancakes etc. She was unintrusive but checked on us appropriately. Great experience.

Awesome food and waiter was great!

The food was good but dont make to many requests they may get confused. I asked them for No cheese and No sauce they got no sauce but gave me extra cheese. All in all it was a good time. The food was good after it got fixed.

One nasty employee, undercooked omlette, hair in my pancakes, worst IHOP Ive ever been to. Waitress was good except no refills.

Slow Rude Service, Sickening experience, BUGS, microwaved melted plastic container, what appears to be rodent droppings in pancake. Never think of returning here!

This place is fast and they get your food right! I love their French toast it’s better than other IHOP’s

First time in IHOP we all loved it, very good quality food with reasonable price. We took a place outside and waitress was so nice. So definitely come back tomorrow.

Good food for a decent price. They only got a 4 star because we didnt receive everything in our order and by the time they brought them out the food wasnt as hot as it should have been. I was very happy with the chicken, hash browns and the scrapple. They were having a rough night due to a couple of different families trying to get free food (con artists in the making). I was happy with Briana our server and will go back, next time with the grand kids
