Only time you can look forward to John talking personally like a “Real” attorney is when he’s collecting money.. Jon has been our attorney for several years. We have always found both he and his staff to show attention to every detail, and theyre always happy to answer any question you may have. Jon works with most of the area courts, and has a good working relationship with local attorneys, which can help settle things quickly.

Worst experience ever. My case was transferred to Mr Ickes because my attorney was elected judge and could no longer continue with my case. Mr. Ickes or his secretary never returns phone calls. Does not answer any of my questions. And you can never get ahold of him. They never answer the phone. So when I leave a message it never gets returned. I live out of state and was the only way to correspond. Would not recommend Mr Ickes to anyone. After receiving my retainer from my other attorney. I was still billed for an additional amount. Which I sent them payment via credit card. They emailed me a receipt. I have been sent letters in the mail, emails and multiple phone calls about making the payment. I emailed them the receipt they sent me and also a copy from my credit card company that showed payment and I am still getting calls about payment and asked me to remove this review and they would drop what I owded them. This is a very shady law firm.

He will work FOR you! Long story shot... I was in a complicated situation that i refused to let them push me around on. I was not in the best financial situation and at first was appointed court lawyer. When it was very clear that he was working for the system and me and was in their corner, I sought out Johns advice, after sitting and talking with him for only 30 minutes, I knew that i wanted him on my side. I took a loan from my family and hired him. He went above and beyond to help me and in the end, I was more than pleased with the results Mr. Ickes was able to provide. If there ever comes a time that I am in need of a Lawyer again, I wont have to look because i know he is my man.
