It has been 3 months since my septorhinoplasty surgery and I am so happy about my results. When I first met with Dr. Ridgeway I instantly felt that he was the right surgeon for me. He is a great listener and answers all your questions with great detail. His staff are amazing people and are so helpful as well. On surgery day my family and I were extremely nervous but an anesthesiologist and super sweet nurses made us feel a lot better after taking great care of me. When I woke up from surgery I was very alert and had no bruising around my eyes. It took about a week to resolve any swelling off my cheeks, during that week I had minimal pain and was able to recover quickly. At this moment my nose swelling is only visible at the tip which will eventually go away throughout this year, it only gets cuter day by day. Any scarring I had went away quickly, to speed up the process I had used Vaseline and sunscreen to protect my skin. My nose was my biggest insecurity, after removing the bump it brought me so much of my confidence and I am finally comfortable with my side profile. Dr. Ridgeway made sure my nose fit my face proportionally and made everything look super natural. He is truly talented and is the best out there!

I just hit my 7 month post op after getting a septorhinoplasty done by Dr.Ridgway and couldnt be happier with my results! Dr.Ridgway and all of his team are so caring are true professionals. I first started working with Dr. Ridgway about a year ago after being horrified at how I looked in Zoom calls! I interviewed several doctors to see what my options were and what they recommended. I chose Dr. Ridgway because he spent the most time listening to my concerns and discussing what could be done, the details of what I would experience and the recovery time. I also chose him because he is a specialist in facial plastic surgery and he only does work on faces and his experience in this area was the best. The staff in his office is also excellent and everybody is very helpful and caring and his facilities are top notch.I did a two phase approach with a lower jaw defining procedure and forehead lift first, and then a mid face and eyelid surgery after 6 months. Both surgeries went really well and my recovery has gone just as he said it would. There was barely any pain and I never needed any pain killers. I had some bruising on the first surgery that lasted a few weeks, but no pain. The second hardly any bruising at all, but some soreness. The scars from the first one are nearly invisible now, and the ones from the second are healing just as well and I am right on schedule for how he said it would go.I am very happy with the results! I look so much younger now. Since I had this done I have had many complements from friends and family on how well I look although they do not really notice that I had surgery as it came out very natural and I look like myself(only several years ago!). I get asked what products I use on my face all the time, but no products could give me these results! I am 100% satisfied and recommend Dr. Ridgway to anyone considering these sort of procedures.

I would give Dr. Ridgway 10 stars if I could. He performed a fairly extensive procedure on me just 2 months ago - eyelid surgery, brow lift, jaw defining procedure and co2 laser resurfacing. I am 52, healthy and take great care of myself, and I wasnt ready for the premature aging I was seeing on my face. I also didnt want to look different - just better/younger! During the initial consultation, Dr. Ridgway walked through his recommendations and answered my extensive questions. I then worked with his truly stellar team to schedule the surgery, after which I was able to then meet with Dr. Ridgway two more times at my request - just to answer other questions which came up for me, and he alleviated all of my concerns. Surgery day was incredibly smooth, and I am amazed to say that my recovery was all positive. I knew what to expect and was prepared, and I had minimal discomfort and no pain(!). I had been considering rhinoplasty for over 10 years. I didnt hate my nose, but I did believe it could be altered to be more flattering on my face. I first met Dr. Ridgway back in 2014 or 2015. After having consultations with two other plastic surgeons my next consult was with Dr. Ridgway. He immediately stood out from the other two and I just had a "gut feeling" that this was the Dr. I should go with. At the time, I decided to hold off on the surgery until a later date.Fast forward to 2020. I was now in a place where I was 100% ready. I remembered Dr. Ridgway and his office was the only one I called to make an appointment with. I was able to get in that week due to a cancellation. His office was very nice and his staff was pleasant as well. We had a good conversation and one thing that stood out to me was when he said "you want your nose to not be the main focal point". I 100% agreed. I didnt want a drastic change, but a change none the less. He GOT it. After my appointment I felt that Dr. Ridgway and his staff truly cared about me. I had never had a surgery before in my life, but decided that I didnt like how my eyelids were getting lower and lower and my eyes looked closed in pictures. I did a ton of research when selecting Dr Ridgway and I am so glad I did. I was scared to death to have this work done for many reasons. Him and his staff are so amazing though, that I would recommend them hands down to anyone. They take such good care of you. Not only that, but Dr. Ridgway is extremely talented. My husband was really freaked out by me wanting to do this, but now admits that I do look better, prettier, etc. I am really happy with the work and also feel like I can get away with less makeup now. I had my first rhinoplasty done by another Seattle based surgeon in 2014 and years afterward when I knew I needed a revision I had consultations with multiple surgeons across Seattle and Bellevue, but I always left feeling empty, no connection to the doctor, and like I was just another transaction in and out of the office. I learned of Dr. James Ridgway by recommendation of SkinSpirit in University Village and had my first consultation with James in December 2019 about a revision rhinoplasty and some other minor concerns. The office at the time had just finished renovating the space and recently moved in. The office is absolutely lovely with beautiful views out of every window. My first impression of James was he was personable, a little quirky, but boy does he know his stuff. He’ll listen to your concerns and in my case, not only acknowledge my concern/problem is valid, but then goes beyond to explain the anatomy of your face and what’s the probable cause of your concern which gave me comfort of being understood and that I was in good knowledgeable hands. James’ approach is very conservative, meaning he’s not the Dr. that’s going to alienate you; he prides himself on his work and believes in natural looking results. The thing I most appreciated about James and the office is you feel like you are being taken care of and are never ever rushed. For any rhinoplasty consultation, they have you come in as the last appointment of the day and you and James sit down at his computer and for as long as it takes, you together simulate what you want your nose to look it all while discussing realistically what results are actually achievable for you. I decided not to go forward with my rhinoplasty surgery until March 2021, but up until my surgery I had been in the office multiple other times for filler appointments. Leading up to my surgery, James and all the staff were so attentive and informative for every pre-op appointment. I never felt like something was unanswered or I didn’t know the next steps or what was supposed to happen. My day of surgery also felt like a complete 180 from my initial surgery in 2014. I felt completely catered to and waited on, spending time with the nurse, the Dr., and with the anesthesiologist. I’m 7mo out from my surgery and I absolutely love my results. During my 6mo post-surgery check-in James asked me if there was anything that him or the team could have done better and I’ve spent weeks pondering that question. If I were to complain about anything it would be sometimes you do have to wait a while, well pass your appt. time, to be seen, but on the flip side of that as I mentioned earlier, when you’re with the Dr. you are the only focus and he spends that dedicated time with you. I feel like I’m now part of the Ridgway family and would recommend going there in heartbeat for any facial cosmetic concerns. Could not be happier, can’t recommend enough. <3

Being a younger guy, I had no idea what I was getting into in terms of plastic surgery, particularly Rhinoplasties.I took a chance with Dr. Ridgway and Im 100% glad I did. A lot of plastic surgeons I inquired with either had 3 month long waiting periods to get a consultation AND would only do Zoom calls for the initial appointment. I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Ridgeway and his staff. When I first started my rhinoplasty search I reached out about a consultation and was immediately impressed. Not only is the location clean and top of the line but the staff was very welcoming and kind. During the consultation, Dr. Ridgway not only answered each question I had, but he went into depth and full on conversation to further explain and make me at ease with the idea of the procedure. He also informed me how doing a septorhinoplasty would be more beneficial than just a rhinoplasty which I am extremely thankful for because during the procedure we found that my left nostril was 85% closed (as you can imagine I breathe a world better now!After deciding to move forward with the septorhinoplasty procedure I would think of questions along the way and each time the staff had no problem scheduling me in right away. I am so happy with my rhinoplasty results! I went to a few different doctors for consultations and Dr. Ridgway really listened to what I wanted and I didn’t feel that way at other consultations. As the swelling resolved, I came to the distressing realization that the procedure had been botched. My nose was crooked, dented, bulbous, and looked worse than it had prior to the surgery. When I was seven, I broke my nose and additionally had two other nose injuries growing up that left a minor “bump” (as I would call itfrom a profile view of my nose. It has been my biggest insecurity for as long as I can remember, so after carefully researching both septorhinoplasty surgery itself, as well as top surgeons in Seattle, I decided I 100% wanted to fix the small imperfections that had bothered me for so long.I was recommended to Dr. Ridgway from my mom (who has gone to Dr. Ridgway for various services herself), as well as a trusted family friend who has undergone the same septorhinoplasty procedure I wanted to have done. Being relatively young for this kind of surgery (22 years old), I was extremely nervous despite being so certain with my decision to have the operation. I imagine it is pretty nerve-racking for anyone about to undergo a surgical procedure, but when it is optional and intended mostly for aesthetic/appearance as opposed to medical need, it is easy to psych yourself out thinking about all the possible complications/negative outcomes that could potentially happen.I told Dr. Ridgway my biggest concern was that I wouldn’t look like myself after the operation, and he was able to reassure me in my decision to have the surgery by providing me with all of the step-by-step information about both pre and post operation care that would lead me to my desired results. This included simulation images that visually showed me the small adjustments that would be made to give me the aesthetic I desired, a timeline mapping out the healing process towards finalized results, as well as crucial post-surgery care steps that would give me the most success if followed accordingly. All of this taken into consideration, along with the comforting support of the staff/team, gave me true confidence and reassured me in my decision to go through with the procedure.It has now been about 3 months since my surgery, and I couldn’t be happier with the results so far. My nose is straight and bump-free, and I can even breathe better now! It’s crazy to watch the extremely minimal (yet amazingchanges happen to the appearance of my nose over the course of the past few months, and how much confidence I have gained. To others, it probably isn’t noticeable that I even had surgery because Dr. Ridgway made sure I still looked exactly like myself with a few small aesthetic adjustments, just as I wanted. With each day that passes, I am amazed by how my nose looks better than the previous day and even more like the simulation images I was shown from the beginning of this journey.Any aesthetic surgery is going to be deeply personal, so it is important to trust your doctor and the team that is supporting you through the entire process start to finish - and even years after. I am very grateful for not only the results that have already exceeded my expectations after just three months, but also the care and support I have received from Dr. Ridgway and his team. Each time I come in for an appointment I am greeted kindly and treated as if I am the most important person in the room. Additionally, there is someone checking-in on me periodically even when the team is out of office. I am especially thankful for Pam Mazzarella always taking the time to make sure I am comfortable, listen to what I need and reassure me.I highly recommend Dr. Ridgway and his team of experts to anyone considering/wanting septorhinoplasty surgery. My tips for success are to do your research and make sure you are 100% positive it is what you want, be aware of the timeline that comes with a successful post-op experience and most of all, be confident in trusting your surgeon. I went to Dr Ridgeway with a lingering issue from 3 prior Rhinoplastys. A bit about the 3 prior surgerys: The first had been with Nafiacy, and included a revision that was promised to straighten and improve symmetry. Sadly, the work resulted in a much larger nose and worse symmetry. Nafiacy made promises he did not keep, tried to excuse his work which left me extremely disappointed in choosing him and the poor work he did. The third surgery was with Portuese who made improvements in Nafiacys work and removed grafts not needed, but his closed surgery process could no fix it all. Hence why I sought a forth to fix what was still an issue from Nafiacy. After meeting with several, no one wanted to do surgery, until I met with Dr Ridgeway. I can say that meeting Dr Ridgeway gave me hope and thoroughly understood my problem and concerns. He took me as a patient and did the surgery. The results were astounding, he really knows his profession, it was the most painless, easiest, fantastic surgery i had had!!!, I am so thankful. I wish i had gone to Dr Ridgeway first!!! I went to Dr. Ridgway for surgery back in June and I could not be happier with the results. Dr. Ridgway listened, provided expert feedback, and even talked me out of an unnecessary procedure (one that a different doctor suggested erroneously almost 5 years ago). While he provided simulations (with options for me to consider), the result was even better than what I expected.I also want to call out the amazing staff - literally everyone in the office made me feel taken care of from start to finish. Dr. Ridgway is excellent. I picked him because he is board certified in plastic surgery and head and neck surgery. This is unusual and gives him a deeper understanding of the anatomical structure of the face. I also asked Anesthesiologists who had worked with him. They gave him great reviews, too. I had facial surgery and am very happy with the results.

I had been researching plastic surgeons for quite some time in hopes that I would find a well-qualified surgeon with lots of experience to perform a rhinoplasty, and I must say that Dr. Ridgeway blew my expectations away. The consultation was extremely informative, and I was able to get every single one of my questions/concerns answered honestly without ever feeling like I was getting pushed into making any decisions. Fast forward a few months, and here I am 6+ weeks post-op and could not be happier with my decision to work with Dr. Ridgway. Absolutely love my results - I look just like myself...but better. I am so glad I found Dr. Ridgway. I suffered with acne scars for over 10 years and tried so many treatments. I spent about $10,000 on acne scar treatments and saw no results. I received dermabrasion from him, and it was life changing! From the start he was very kind and took his time to talk to me and answer all of my questions. Dr. Ridgway is a kind doctor who genuinely cares about his patients. If I had any questions about anything, I could call/text him directly or call the office. Last month (January). I had a neck and lower (jaw definingfacelift done by Dr Ridgeway. I cannot express how much I appreciate Dr Ridgeway and his entire staff. Each one of them were just wonderful to me. I am a registered nurse and was very interested in finding the very best. Dr Ridgeway and his staff were amazing. I found Dr. Ridgway after hours of research and review scouring. I was looking to get a facial trauma scar touched up, and wanted to find the best surgeon. Upon research I decided to commute 2 hours for his services. He has lived up to every expectation! Him and his staff are extremely professional, efficient, gentle, and friendly. I had no doubt at any time that they was doing the best job possible. You cant find a better surgeon.

I cant truly articulate the huge blessing I received as the result of Dr. Ridgway having the heart and impeccable talent to take on my challenging reconstruction. Not only was I discouraged from past corrective surgeries to fix my fractured nasal bone graph, which left me swapping one problem for three problems, but also from reaching out to highly acclaimed plastic surgeons who dismissed me saying I was better leaving things alone and that there really wasnt much they could do and played down my issues. This was very hard emotionally and on my self-esteem.I did end up walking away from the hope I could be restored in my area where there had been so much trauma emotionally and physically. When one doesnt really know how to correct something with the artistry to match the competency, only the bare minimum is discussed, or one is brushed off and made to feel minimized and not cared for. This had been my experience up to this point.I have felt cared for from the onset! It has only increased with time and has continued with my post-op care I continue to receive. Its remarkable. His staff is excellent and caring, and Dr. Ridgway is a highly talented meticulous surgeon who is an artist, literally, and has the most compassion and patience I have ever received from any kind of doctor period. I cannot give enough stars for him! He truly "saw" me for who I was, am, and brought my outsides in alignment with my insides. Pretty crazy with the challenges/mess he had to work with! Dr. Ridgway is the ultimate surgeon in terms of skill, integrity, and compassion. I know this from having spent over 10 years desperately pursuing very difficult facial reconstruction with several of the top recommended surgeons from around the country, including New York City, Boston, Atlanta, San Francisco, and Dallas, and achieving very limited (and sometimes actually detrimental or worseningresults, and never getting more than a half-hearted commitment to my admittedly challenging case. My experience with Dr. Ridgway has been a huge break-through for me. His technical mastery easily exceeds the top surgeons in his field, but his character and charisma sets him apart from any other doctor I have ever met. He has a seemingly tireless passion for his work and commitment to his patients that is truly rare. He is warm, caring, and unusually personable and communicative. Dr Ridgway is an artist. No really... Hes an artist first and also a double board certified plastic surgeon. He is talented, intelligent, extremely skilled and a warm and caring human. It took a great leap of faith for me to proceed with a face lift and fat transfer but Dr Ridgway was so filled with kindness and confidence and he told me I would still be me... Dr. Ridgway performed my revision rhinoplasty about 5 weeks ago. I have already noticed a large improvement though my nasal tip is still swollen. I had my first rhinoplasty performed on me about 2,5 years ago and needed a revision because the cosmetic results were not what I expected (bulbous tipand septum was re-deviated.During my initial consultation with Dr. Ridgway I felt very comfortable within minutes. After the consultation I booked surgery right away and stopped looking for other surgeons. He took his time explaining everything to me, and this made me feel very confident to go ahead with the surgery. We made a computer model of the desired nose.The surgery was easy, I have not had any bruises. Dr. Ridgway has great bedside manner, and has made this experience a breeze. He is talented, genuine, warm, and honest, he will not perform anything on you if he feels that you dont need. I am so happy that I have found a surgeon who I trust, and that is the most important thing when choosing a doctor. In my opinion, Dr. Ridgway is a true Artist and his Gods are Beauty and Proportion but not Money.

Dr.James Ridgway is a great surgeon. He did some surgery on me with outstanding results. He takes his time to discuss options and balances realistic expectations. I never felt rushed like with other doctors. I trust him. He’s a perfectionist. Also, the price of surgery was very reasonable and fair.The Staff is very kind and professional too. Dr. Ridgway is an amazingly talented and compassionate surgeon. After interviewing multiple plastic surgeons I chose to have my facelift performed by him. As I look in the mirror I have absolutely no regrets! I feel so fortunate to have met this talented and amazing individual.
