Our first visit to JDs was excellent overall! We were there with my 2 brothers-in-law and 1 sister-in-law. We each ordered something different. You could say we all certainly tried out the menu today!Our server was very personable. I was sorry not to catch our servers name because she deserves name recognition. She described the specials of the day and even answered to my satisfaction the questions regarding the special needs of my fussy food restrictions.Our food came within a reasonable amount of prep time. While we waited, the server stopped past the table 1-2 times to check our drink levels and any needs. She walked past again to let us know our food was "being plated" right then. It was hot and cooked to each of our satisfaction.My 1/3# burger was perfectly done to suit my taste. The baked potato was nicely done and huge. I appreciate the leftovers.Only one brother-in-law (Mr. Rare but Warmwas not content, however, it was still good enough to eat it all. He did enjoy his fried chips. The baked steak & mashed potatoes looked delicious. The mushroom burger and fries were good looking as well.The place had 2 wall mounted TVs but not turned up so loud you couldnt hear each other. Most of the customers were our age - uhh, older-middle-age, and were there in groups of 2s or 3. Ours was the only larger group.Good Job, JDs!! Well be back. Maybe next time well bring my 100 yr old mother-in-law.

So glad that it was a nice night and we could sit outside because the smell inside was bad enough that we would not have stayed if inside seating was the only option. Our waitress was new but did a good job and the food was good, too!

this is an adults only placebut, the food is delicious. and this bar is a lot like cheers (where everyone knows your name. I love the music which would be considered oldies rock. In ft he summer there is a small patio to enjoy the weather.
