Great customer service! They treat you really well at Jefferys. They show you pictures of any thing they find wrong with your car so you know theyre not trying to rip you off which i appreciate! 4 star rating is only because of the cost, I feel the price for repairs is a little high I would recommend them to anyone but be prepared to pay a little extra.

Although the price to discover that there was nothing materially wrong with car -- although it wouldnt start over the course of two days -- was approximately $250, I still think this business is great. The staff is always pleasant and eager to serve and they consistently meet all established deadlines. And they provide free loaner vehicles for as long as your car is being repaired. I will definitely recommend them to anyone asking about good repair shops in the area.

When there my tire had a tire rotation done else where n took it there to run under my car ins they were over charging my ins company and me

Just Awful .. hooked my Intoxloc up wrong then asked me to leave and they would not service the reinstall .. they legit have my car wired wrong with shorts probably is a Hazard that they created now I have to take it and have someone new not only find and detect the problem when Jeffrey’s staff wired my car wrong.. it’s company negligence and it’s bad there. Management needs to improve pride and stand by there work. Mistakes happen it’s how they are corrected that matters .. stil driving my unsafe shorted out car because frankly they are bad people n bad bussniss btw way to not even say happy birthday.. Any quality busniss would of said happy a birthday and then we’re canceling your appt on Friday.. just the worse

Service was amazing. Im hesitant to use new services but I had no power to my car. Called 30 minutes before close to have my car towed, and Timm was extremely helpful, explained everything that was happening and prices. Even though I know nothing about vehicles he was able to explain everything so I understood and could make the best decision moving forward. Im greatful for their attentiveness to my needs and budget for service.

Took my import here to have it looked over for leaks and an ignition issue. Jeffrey Auto was very good with communication, keeping me informed along the way. They prepared a detailed report with everything that was wrong and right with the car. Very thorough!

Liars and crooks. This particular individual purposely avoided calling on the work phone lines (the recorded linesso they could lie without it being on record. They and the rest of the staff then made excuses for not having any documentation (that they very well would havethat shows definitive proof that they are stealing while trying to make it sound like the fault lies with the customer. After maintaining they did nothing wrong when it is clear that everyone involved knows they are stealing from the customer, they decided to do nothing about it since the customer doesnt have their own hard evidence. This was over a matter of fabricated charges amounting to hundreds of dollars that they would not refund. Take your hard earned money elsewhere!In response to the owners reply:I have the correct business. You will find this review is in regards to a Penske oneway drop off under the customer name Alexandra Nettleton. I drove the truck, filled it with fuel, and dropped it off at Jeffrey Auto Repair. I filled the tank (at the Caseys on Monroe Aveuntil the pump shutoff, the fuel gauge was just on the bottom side of the full line. I drove straight to your business, parked the truck, and dropped off the keys. Your employee, Al I believe, checked the truck in the next morning and called stating the truck wasnt filled up all the way. He claimed it was 3/4 full. He must have called on a personal phone because there was no record of him calling from the work lines that are recorded apparently. On the paperwork he marked the truck as only 5/8 full when returned. Both of these were lies. He charged us $260 for filling the rest of the tank up. Its a 60 gallon tank by the way, that I personally filled before dropping off.

We were stranded 600 miles from home with a dead alternator and serpentine belt. We managed to get our car to Jeffrey Auto Repair and they worked us in and got it fixed right, hundreds of dollars less than what the big dealerships would have charged us! Very friendly people! We still keep in touch!

I went to Jeffrey Auto to get the oil changed in my Jeep because I received a 50% off coupon for educators in the mail. When I picked up my Jeep, in addition to my receipt I also got a printed summary of current areas of concern and future potential problems. The owner took time to explain each one to me and having an actual list for reference helps me to remember all of the issues so I could plan accordingly to address them. I assumed it was his wife at the counter and she was such a sweetheart also- so nice and helpful! A very positive and pleasant experience!

I had an issue with the door to my gas tank not opening and I was about out of gas. The service people got me in right away and fortunately the door opened for them. The staff were super friendly from the initial phone all the way to handing the keys back to me. Highly recommend this shop!

This place is just a racket. Brought in my car to have a breathalyzer installed so they did a full inspection and refused to install my breathalyzer until they repaired things like my tires with half tread, my tie rod, and my bearings.

I was home from Colorado for my fathers funeral and was informed upon arriving home that I had a headlight out. The crew had me drop my car off on Wednesday and it was ready to go the following day. Considering everything that I had going on, this was immensely helpful. Our van was shaking in a dire sort of way so we halted our cross-country trip to figure out what was going on. Jeffrey Auto was the 3rd place we called - the first 2 couldnt get us in any time soon - but they were able to get us in that morning, perform diagnostics & have it fixed by closing time! They even sent road trip bags of goodies for our 3 little girls which was over the top thoughtful!! We are so thankful for the amazing customer service & incredibly speedy van repair.

Was on vacation in Clear Lake and unfortunately had my car beak down while out there. Came into Jeffreys because they appeared to able to get it looked at the fastest, engine was overheating due to a coolant leak. Labor alone was twice the price of the parts and some of the parts themselves were already overpriced for market value (you let me know where coolant cost $100, and no this doesnt factor in labor). I will admit, service was decent and they did manage to get me back on the road within a reasonable amount of time, but if I was not trapped in such a difficult situation, I would never pay such outrageous prices for the job done. Couldnt help but feel like I was being taken advantage of due to my situation so I cant recommend service from this shop.

Wanted to give a big thank you to the gang at Jeffrey Auto for getting us in on short notice and back on the road after some brake trouble with our travel trailer. Timm, Warren and Harper (Chrisdetermined the problem and got the parts ordered. After a few adjustments, everything is now working fine and we feel more comfortable in our future travels. We’d definitely stop again for any service work should we be in the area and in need. Thanks again guys!

Jeffrey Auto Repair recently also became a Cub Cadet dealer. Had our unit picked up for a repair. They took care of the repairs in a short period of time and stood behind their work. So happy we also purchased an additional riding Cub Cadet mower from them. Going forward they will have the opportunity for more of our service work. Great group to have on your team.

Took our BMW X5 there for maintenance and a repair. The work was completed timely and professionally. It is nice to have a local shop available to work on our BMW rather than be forced take it to Rochester or Des Moines. Will definitely return to Jeffrey for any future work.

Brian and his staff have worked on my Jeep a few times, and get the job done in a timely manner. It is always nice to get a lift Home by an employee there when I drop off, and at one time I used their courtesy vehicle for 3 days, free of charge. As always, quality work. You can rest assured that your car will be in great shape from the repairs when you leave the premises. The electronic record and email shows you the work to be done with photos so when you call to authorize the service or additional service, you will see the need for the repair. No other repair company has ever done this in my life (and I have been driving for decades and owned a lot of cars).

I want to thank you guys for getting my car in quick to look it over and for not allowing me to drive it home on 8/9/19 for loaning me a van while you fixed my car. But the most happy part was getting it back two days sooner then I was told. And to Ryan I didn’t change my mind I don’t want no van still. Thank you guys for your quick work and driving it home today on 8/13 was so nice not having to avoid bumps. Definitely will come back for anymore work needed! Very happy!

Everytime my husband and I had to rent out a U-haul we went to Jeffreys! They are such nice people that work there! We are returning customers there because they answer questions for you on the spot and they know their stuff. They are honest and reliable people. Seriously if you need to rent a U-haul I recommend them!

Lots of fluff, no substance. Got a great video of every aspect of my car, but thats not what I took it in for. If you know nothing about your car, this is the place for you because you wont realize how much stuff you paid to get done that wasnt necessary. New service manager comes from many years at the dealership, which explains a lot. Very disappointing...still looking for a reputable mechanic in the area.

Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. Pricing is very fair and the staff is upfront with their pricing. Their shuttle to and from work in the Mason City area is very helpful, and Jeffrey Auto is flexible with service times to accommodate busy schedules. Im new to the area and have taken my vehicle here for service for the past 6 months with nothing negative to report. Highly recommend these honest and down-to-earth people!

I love having my car repaired at Jeffrey Auto Repair. They are fast and efficient and their pricing is fair. If you schedule an appointment far enough ahead of time you can use their loaner car for the day. That was a deal maker for me since I only have one car. Highly recommended!
