Every thing with Jerry Wilson Roofing was a good experience. Was referred to them by a property manager in area who had used them for many years. They performed a complete re-decking and re-roofing for me on a property in Lynn Haven, FL. Immediately after signing contract, the area went into early dog days of daily rain. Josh answered every phone call and initiated calls to me to update/advise of changes in schedule necessitated by rain. The first break in weather they were on the job very early every day; staging was impressive and they finished as scheduled. The job site was clean throughout the process. If I have another job with similar needs, they will be the first I will call.

This company has been doing work for me since 2016. They did both my house, and my mother’s. They show up on time, and always clean up afterwards. The men are polite, and respectful. I give them my highest praise.

Crew was pleasant, easy to communicate with. Mike answered all questions that I asked and all were respectful and worked diligently while they were here. Cleaned up the area before they left. Josh worked diligently to get approval for the replacement of the defective shingles. Thanks guys, for a job well done.

Josh Taylor and his crew do amazing work. The addition looks like it was original to the house! Added a 300 sq foot addition to the master bedroom! He had just installed a new roof on my house about 1 year before Hurricane Michael struck. That roof was damaged but did no leak during the storm. Some of my neighbors were not as fortunate. Josh was also instrumental in working with my insurance company to ensure their prompt settlement of my claims.Therefore, I can strongly recommend his company.

The guys made an appointment with me to look at my roof that needed repaired. No call no show. Called the next day to reschedule with no answer or return call.

No show and no call back! It must be really nice not to need money!

We did not have our roof fixed by this company, but our neighbor did. They started work at 0615, and it was so loud it woke my daughter up who sleeps on the far side of our house. We understand a long workday but that’s a really early start for such loud noises without any warning. It would help if you instructed your customers to give warning to their neighbors or for your company to leave a note to surrounding neighbors.

Jerry Wilson, is the "best" roofer in Bay County!!! Hes a man of his word, if he tells you he will be there and what he will do, "HE WILL DO IT"!!! You absolutely CANT beat his quality of work anywhere!! His prices are wonderful too, hes not out to RIP people off, like so many are, he just wants to do a great job for you and have satisfied customers, thats most important to him, and for a businessman, thats unusual!! I trust him implicitly, what he says he can do, and will do are the same, and you can count on him to be there when he says he will also! Thats worth gold here in Bay County!! Jerry Wilson Roofing is good company. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

We have a new roof from Jerry Wilsons. We immediately had leaks under 2 of our roof valleys after installation. When we complained about the first one, which was leaking into our bedroom window sill, Jerry came out with a caulking gun and put some roof patch on, claiming it was our gutters to blame for the leak (which were in place during their installation, and they said nothing about a potential problem). When we noticed the second leak a couple of weeks later, they came out and looked at it and said it was a gutter problem, and did not fix it. I have since moved the gutters so that there is NO WAY the gutters could effect it. Also, I have water-tested the valley and it leaks well above where gutters could effect it. Jerry Wilsons wont respond to my calls any more. I had another company inspect it and they said the valleys were not intalled properly, and it would cost several thousand dollars to correct.Sorry, I cant recommend them. They dont stand by their work and wont take responsibility to fix a problem they caused.

I called maybe 6 roof companies but the response from this one was almost immediate. We signed the agreement on the spot. The job was done a little later than anticipated but the contractor was all the way present. This is in contrast to other companies that send salesman first and then someone else is at the job site.

Our roof was destroyed during Hurricane Michael. Wilson’s Roofing was highly rated and respected in the community so we called them. Jerry was very responsive to our needs and quickly installed a new roof...however there was a part he needed to complete the job and told us he would have it in a few days, so we paid him in FULL. It has been a NIGHTMARE for nearly 10 months to get him to finish the job!!! In fairness to them there was difficulty getting the part from their supplier...BUT Wilson NEVER made any attempt to contact us and keep us informed of the delay. It took many many months and months of our calling to try to get updates and answers from them. They repeatedly ignored our calls and voicemails to return our calls. Nearly 3 weeks ago we got a call that they had received the part and were ready to install it... even setting a date several days later. WE HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THEM SINCE!!! We have called dozens of times since, asking them to call us. It appears that they are screening our calls and will not answer....although someone did answer this morning and hung up quickly! I guess they didn’t check to see who was calling! We are at our wits end! We are prepared to go public and take legal action against them if this is not quickly resolved. Taking ones money and walking away without completing the job is nothing short of stealing!!! BEWARE !Robert and Barbara David

Very professional company. They explained to us the installation plan and took care of us maintaining and repairing the tarps they had put on the roof immediately after the storm hit the house damaging the roof. They did a very good job with the installation of our roof.The JW crew worked very professionally, measuring and positioning carefully each row of shingles. On our street the house next door to us was the only one left with an undamaged roof from the storm. They have a JW roof so this is why we went with them in the first place.

Jerry re-roofed my 4 year old roof that my builder Cliff Myers would not man up to fixing. Thats another story. When my roof was completed one valley was very wavy and I pointed it out to Jerry who told me it would "lay down" after the sun hit it a few days. Its been 5 years and it never layed down!!! Good luck getting him backPoor response rate to calls if any at all. Now that I am on roof #3 in 12 years we have discovered the valleys were not re-roofed but roofed over. He is way out of line on what he charges..I have sent Jerry several jobs over the years but NEVER AGAIN! !!

Jerry Wilson is a man of his word and stands behind his work. Will continue to recommend him for his personal attention to our problem and how his personal work ethic reminds me of my fathers who has been doing construction for over 40 years. A+

Great workers good pricing reliable and honest

We had our roof done in December 2017, held up pretty well during Hurricane Michael except for the ridges. But with getting now all the price quotes for replacements, we find out that Wilson is way over the average pricing. To be exact $ 6,000!!! So get multiple quotes and dont be fooled by discounts thrown in, its all part of their sales spiel and calling supposedly previous customers for giving glorious reviews about work and materials. You know what I mean, Justin Taylor! We feel being ripped off!

I was just visiting Jerry Wilsons Website. I am trying to get ahold of him to take a look at my roof. I noticed all the negative feedback that was posted. Im not sure what happened with those roofs but he did a professional job on my roof in 2012. He was reasonably priced and his men did a professional job. I did loose a few shingles but compared to the rest of my neighborhood my roof came through the hurricane with flying colors. I would highly recommend Jerry Wilsons Roofing.

My roof was replaced in Jan of 2018. I was impressed with how it performed in the hurricane. Every shingle was in place and no damage to be reported. Thanks for the great job, all your guys did.

I am a flipper.In the last 4 years I have had two roofs put on by Jerry in Panama city. Hurrican hit didnt lose one shingle on either house this guy is good.

Replaced roof approx 5 yrs ago. Post Hurricane Michael, insurance adjuster said "first roof Ive seen that didnt have any damage!" Thank you team Wilson. Not 1 shingle missing!

Over a year ago, Jerry signed a contract to replace my roof in order to stop the leaking in my business. The contract clearly stated he was to remove the old roof and replace it with a new roof. Instead, Jerry placed the new roof on top of the old roof without letting me know. A month later, we realized the problem was not fixed during a storm. The roof was still leaking and when we contacted Jerry, it took a month and a half to come to patch the roof. The patch was useless because it would not stick to the old roof. His solution, 18 months after the initial job, was to put a third layer of roofing. This is illegal in my state and will now cost even more. Now, every time that it rains I have to shut down my store because of the amount of damage the leaking has caused. I would not recommend this roofing business. Great professional work. Excellent job on two roofs which they did for us. After the roofs were complete, they did a great job cleaning up. The Wilsons take pride in their work. I highly recommend.

This company I highly recommend. They are fast, and very efficient. My roof looks great. I just want to say Thank you to Jerry Wilson and his employees. I will recommend them to anyone that needs new roofing.

Other than a few minor issues that needed to be addressed, company is very willing to fix any issues that arise. They work very quickly to get the job done and put less of an inconvenience on the customer. They work around your schedule to accommodate the customer.

The workers bent our in gutters in multiple places. I mentioned the damages and was told someone would be out to look at the damage and repair them. Well havent seen anyone yet and our roof was installed a month ago. Phone messages not returned or no one available to take a message. Its only fair they repair what they damaged, its what was agreed on in the contract.

Amazing job done on my moms house. New metal roof from shingles. Super professional and courteous . Also fixed a bad job done by another company on a friends roof. Would highly recommend this company !

A few years back I needed a roof, at that time I didnt know PVC glue from Elmers NOW I DO :-), much less roofing, so I called 3 roofing contractors to the house, this guy Jerry Wilson came first, drove up in a fancy souped up big old truck. LEFT IT RUNNING - while he proceeded in trying to give me an estimate for a roof on my home and an apartment building in my back yard. HE was rude, he didnt even take the time to address the issues, I showed him the road!!!! You should do the same. Ive seen his work!

Do not use these guys. They are terrible.. once they get paid, you will be forgotten.. they did a terrible job with the replacement roof and now will not take responsibility for their screwup. There are plenty of good decent companies out there to choose from. I would recommend you pass on this one!
