After living in the area for the past 18 months and driving past Jimmys Kebabs everyday and until now, not stopping in.Its been my loss!Ansir the owner is a ripping fella and cares about his produce and product.I tried the Chicken kebab which was flavourful, tender and tasty.I will be back once a week for sure for the new "go to" kebab provider.Keep up the good work fellasCookie

Very clean, fresh salads, delicious meats, variety of foods including Turkish pied, hot chips made fresh and of course Kebabs and very nice owner.

Lamb was super delicious but falafel was tasteless

Paid for addition of tabouli and cheese. Got none of either. The gentleman asked me for lettuce, tomato and onion... Which I agreed... Kebab is full of cabbage, not just lettuce. Theres better places to get a kebab in the area. Pity because this place used to be good.

The OG is back on form. Had one of these and it was cracker. Good like the old days. Good portion, crunchy chips, perfect amount of sauces. Under new management and the improvements are noticeable. If you haven’t done jimmyz in a while give this a go

Where do I start. From the first time I walked through the apposing doors of Jimmys Kebabs, my expectations were initially quite high. As my visit prolonged, my expectations were more then met, I was completely blown away. From the lovely customer service, to the succulent HSPs, this place suits all! It is not often that I come into a place not expecting much, and then leave in tears of happiness. After my visit, my standards have been raised to such a level that I can not see myself visiting any other kebab place. From the bottom of my heart... thankyou.

I went to this shop recently. The place is under new management and got to say, the quality of the food has improved a lot. The meat is really fresh and tender. Will visit again.

Jimmyz Kebab under new management, owner is very friendly, the meat used to be very salty but now he said he is using new supplier and we could taste the difference, its better quality meat and as for the prince increase... well its inflation mate! The price increase is everywhere, so dont blame the small businesses for inflation. Come support small businesses, you get better service and better quality food and your support means a lot for them. This will be our go to kebab ❤

Jimmys now under new management !Had a lamb kebab. Wasn’t too bad but can be improved a bit cuz meat was a bit dry. For the price paid I have no complaints ! Will be my local go-to kebab shop for sure !

Absolutely delicious got a kebab and 2 HSPs and they are jam packed and full of flavour definitely worth the price and going to go back in the near future

One of the WORST HSPs Ive had. Got a regular lamb HSP. Chips were decent, sauces were okay but the flavour of the chill sauce overpowered the other sauces. The cheese didnt have much flavour and wasnt melted properly. The worst part by far was the meat though. The lamb straight up tasted like cardboard, no flavour whatsoever, ruined the entire HSP. Did not taste like lamb at all. Whatever they used is not proper lamb and I doubt they would stand up to a proper food safety inspection.

Tasted like a HSP before they got popular - how they should be. Generous serving sizes, hot chips, tasty meats and fair pricing. Guy behind the counter was great too.

Very average and the cheese didnt melt the meat wasnt hot enough. The sauce wasnt enough taste was average

Great food however they say they are open but when you get there they are closed. No way to tell if they are shut or not as the phone doesnt work. Generous portion sizes though!

Food is very underwhelming. Theres no freshness whatsoever to their meals and I would drop this place like a bad habit. Highly doubt they would pass a food safety inspection. Could do with Gordon Ramseys help.

I have been a fan of Jimmys kebab and often travel to buy from here. I was disappointed and so were my children. Meat was burnt and didnt taste fresh.

It is good, but they messed up my order. I asked specifically to separate the chili sauce. But they fix it in the end.

Staff are very friendly and the HSPs are great. There is a quiet area in the back of the store to eat in, and its usually empty.Keep in mind though that it often opens later than listed on Wednesdays

Accepted order, took card payment immediately, cancelled order 17 mins later claiming store is now closed. How long does it take to fry chips? Slice some meat off the spit? Usual closing time is midnight. Super shady, never again.

Food is very good taste and HSPs are incredible value. You get a lot of food for the money. A jimmyzilla can feed a small village. Seating is pretty basic, mainly for takeaway. Staff are really friendly. Quick service.

Attended Jimmyz tonight with my partner, service provided by Shahmeel who provided a great HSP experience with excellent customer service. Substantially better than ALL other kebab shops in the area, regardless of their reputations. Great local business, and will be back.

Ordered an HSP through menu log on 15/4/21 at around 10pm on my way back from the footy. Swung past just before getting home at around 10:30 because surely 30 mins is enough time to get an HSP ready. As Im getting out of the car I get a message from menu log telling me my order wasnt accepted. Fair enough, apps have issues. I thought Id just walk in and order one. The lights out the front were off and as I walked past I noticed that there was absolutely no food on display. No kebab meat, no salads, nothing. The employee was leaning on a bench on his phone. I didnt even bother going in as it looked like hed already shut the shop up despite it being only 10:30. Very disappointed as Ive had food from here before and its been great.

Came in for a quick lunch but ended up receiving a pretty much cold HSP. Gave me my HSP only after 1 minute of ordering. Opened the box and found a mere handful of old soggy chips with a piling load of barely cooked and lukewarm meat. Cheese was not melted at all. Hands down worst HSP have had in a long time. Not sure if I’ll be coming back anytime soon.

3.4Love it. One way to keep your feet on the ground in this game is to go basic every now and again. Just to see what’s out there. Twosheds loves a kebab and like offering occasionally so when the opportunity arose today in glorious Nunawading it was very swiftly taken indeed. I looked to the right of the board rather than the left. Meat was the objective. I selected a regular HSP - the helal snack pack - here at Jimmy Z. The protein was lamb. Cheese was added for extra taste and texture. All sauces were accepted - garlic, chilli and one I forget. The lamb was lovely and tender. The cheese melted beautifully through the dish. The bed of chips was good as well. I only got the regular size HSP but it was huge anyway and I didn’t even make it half way.There was lovely friendly service here which helps the mood. It’s a basic grungy little shop this one and the traffic roaring past on Springvale Road doesn’t add to the ambiance, but who cares. The food and service are mighty.Recommended.

Came here in the evening on a Monday night and it was enjoy around 9:30.Ordered a chicken kebab and it was organised quickly. For $9 it was very good value and tasted ok.Happy to come back for a late night kebab.

We were looking forward to eating a snack pack from here but what we received was disappointing. The chips werent crispy and the meat came in very thick chunks. Weve eaten there twice before and the food was sub par, we were thinking today would be different but we were wrong. Sometimes quality is better than quantity.

Asked the good man if he could make my kebab in 5 minutes as the bus was coming but I was starving. The legend did it in 2! (maybe 3, but definitely less than 5)This was at about 10pm and customers were still trickling in and out. Definitely did me a solid while serving everyone else at the same time.The kebab itself is pretty average (though to be fair, Ive been quite spoilt in my usual selectionbut there is plenty of meat if youre into that (perhaps even too much). It will definitely fulfil your kebab craving.EDIT: I had their kebab deal (kebab, drink, and chipsa while ago and shared the chips with my workmates - they have been praising it for a while now and its considered incomparable to the other chips around in the area. Take it as what you will.I did have someone botch my kebab and give me chicken instead of lamb. It wasnt worth wasting my lunch break to go back and correct it but I would not recommend the chicken kebab at all (very bland and unsatisfying compared to the lamb). I ended up giving it a hungry workmate and satisfied myself with their chips.

Go for the Mount Halal HSP, stay for the memories.PS: It takes either 2 Andersons or 6-8 people to take it on, hope youre prepared XD

Great place for a guys get-together to enjoy a meat & chips fest. Their Halal Snack Pack comes in Large, Jimmyzilla and Mount Halal sizes. A bastion of sinfully, unhealthy, man-food.One issue is limited seats on premises (so come early to beat the crowdsand a lack of credit card/EFTPOS facilities (so have cash ready).
